Weekend trip to see Abba Voyage
Weekend trip to see Abba Voyage. Pick up 6am Mansfield arrival time London 14.45pm (8.75 hours)We had 5 other pick ups the last one being Leicester. last pick up time 9.30am. Arrived at Park Lane this being quite a distance from many sights with only 4 hours left to spend in London could not really do what we had planned. Back on the coach at 7pm for the journey to the hotel another 1 hour 30 mins again quite away. Hotel was very nice lovely staff comfortable rooms and nice varied breakfast item, lots of choice. Then 9.30 back on the coach another 1 hour 45mins journey to the arena. fabulous show. Then 3.15pm back on the coach for our homeward journey again far to many drop offs making it a very tiresome journey driver going the wrong way at the Derby drop off and having to double back did not help. When arriving at Bulwell we were told the drivers would be changing over but back at Bulwell there was no relief driver to be seen. There was no communication from the original driver for a good 45 minutes by this time people were becoming more and more agitated when after approximately 1 hour we were told that Taxis would be sent to collect us and take us to our drop off points. Several passengers had already made other arrangements via taxis to get home by this time. we finally arrived back in Mansfield at 10pm. Very disappointed with skills over all. The driver was left very exposed to the increasing anger from the remaining passengers.

Site was quite easy to manage.I did go to Skills office in Derby to book but it would have cost me a further 4pounds per person so I booked online.I would have liked to see more information regarding pick up time and getting back time but otherwise quite a good experience and brochure was good.

Skills - Lake Garda
The coach was comfortable, and thank goodness for aircon and drinks. The drivers were good, giving out information of what we were seeing, and importantly how to keep safe.
The accommodation was brilliant, service good, and nicely situated for an evening stroll with plenty of bars and eateries.

I've been booking with Skills for many…
I've been booking with Skills for many years, since my children were little and now my Grandchildren have come along,I still use skills. I now even go abroad with Skills. I highly recommend Skills day trips,theatre breaks and holidays. Skills are also great with solo travellers. Very friendly and helpful office and coach staff. The booking process and making payments is easy. I only deduct one star as not all their coaches provide WiFi or phone charging points which I think is a great coach feature to have. Especially phone charging. Some of the journeys can be quite long distance,and you will need your phone to occupy yourself throughout the journey,so phone charging is important as you will need to keep contact with friends or family and some drivers will give you a contact number incase of getting lost or needing help. So it is important to have battery life.
