Adil Ray please STOP telling us your name every 3 minutes. You are so boring I have, like soooo many others, stopped listening to Smooth Radio because your so bad.

Love Jenni Faulkner show and in general Smooth radio. But it is soooooo predictable that Kate Garraway plays Celine Doin , it’s all coming back to me now , every single day - used to like the song, but have to switch stations now. The show is just so repetitive when the same songs played continuously! Please play something else 🥱

"Footloose" AGAIN! Richard Wilkins chuckles & says "oh great song!" No! It's been 40 years. There are 1,000s of songs since then.

I hate this radio station. All you get is that stupid “Metal Store, Metal Store” advert over and over again and the same old songs. I’m fed up of hearing the boring, depressing and overrated Adele and Will Young and Elton John. I don’t know how many times they put on Dusty Springfield, Bruno Mars with that stupid “Cos you’re amazing, just the way you are!” Crap and that utterly depressing Elton John “Candle in the Wind.”

I’ve emailed these three times now about the same old songs and they say they play the songs in the afternoon in case people don’t hear the same song in the morning! Like that’s my fault…

And why they have to have Chris Cross on every single hour is a mystery. Tina Hobley stated today and I kid you not “Playing the best songs!”

Complete and utter rubbish.

Giving this dismal station one star would be a bonus, for the turgid drivel they turn out on a daily basis.

Hell isn’t Satan looking down at his prisoners burning in raging fires, it is an endless diet of Michael Bolton, Billy Ocean and the Bee Gees. This station plays music for cretins, who couldn’t tell a decent pop song if it was given to them.

I would sooner crawl through broken glass naked, than listen to this ghastly radio station. It should be stripped of its license under the Trade Description Act. The local supermarket plays far more superior music than Smooth Radio. It plays Iggy Pop, Richard Hawley, Scott Walker, Northern Soul etc.

You won’t find any of that music on Smooth Radio. You won’t find anything of note at all. I didn’t believe in purgatory until I heard Smooth Radio.

When the judge passed the death sentence on a condemned person, he said the words “May God have mercy on your soul”.

I knew exactly what he meant.

This station has gone from the best to one of the worst. The music is still great but you cannot hear much of it due to certain individuals. Adil Ray states his name all the time which is so arrogant and annoying. Jenni Falconer does not seem to understand people want to listen to great music not her rabbling on non stop about films and other rubbish. Similar to many companies now there is no good management to sort it out.

Groundhog Day Radio.

If I could give zero stars I would.

When it started as Jazz FM back in 1994, it was a superb station playing a wide range of Jazz, Soul, R'n'B, Funk, Motown, Blues, etc.

When it became Smooth FM/Radio around 2004/2005, it gradually moved away from that wide range of genres and introduced more MOR mainstream stuff which wasn't really a problem at first but then started to play the same 30 songs on random repeat.

They need to realise that the likes of ABBA, Stevie Wonder, Carpenters, Eagles, Simon & Garfunkel, Michael Jackson, Lionel Ritchie, Paul McCartney, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Luther Vandross, George Benson, Phil Collins/Genesis, George Michael, Cyndi Lauper and Dusty Springfield had more than just one hit record - If I never heard 'Son Of A Preacher Man' ever again, I wouldn't lose sleep.

Like other commercial radio stations, this will never change as it is all about money rather than keeping the listener entertained with a wide range of songs.

Fed up of hearing about there cashpot prize they mention it literally every 5 to ten minutes all day! I switch to radio one which has more awful music but they dont have a prize money being advertised far too much. Its depressing since I won't enter as texts can be too expensive on contract phone. Yes its a nice prize but cant they reduce how much its advertised its depressing as I never win big lol 😆

The most depressing radio station on air ever. No need for a presenter just play the same old boring 80s and 90s songs on a loop with loads of annoying ads thrown in to make your listening even more torturous. They even have a yearly top hundred songs countdown, hilarious, what's the point it's just all the songs they play anyway, surprised they can come up with a 100 TBH. Also don't waste your money on the competitions you've zero chance of winning anything.

Can the executives at smooth sort out the constant repeat songs day after day, it’s like ground hog day for listeners over and over , people are turning off in droves and I’m one of them , the world has produced 100s of thousands of amazing songs over the years yet smooth plays about a 100 on loop day in day out , obviously they buy cheap song bundles , but come on a joke now , good by smooth , I’ve tuned in elsewhere

Worst station ever, playing the same songs every single day ! Why employ dj s ? Solid as a rock, show me heaven, losing my religeon, i will survive, rick astley, m acksons mirrorman, red red wine- boring mindnumbing tedium. All basically the same song about love which is stronger than the universe lol Cursed to work with a whopper. For anyone who likes this music surely you best hear it on occasion so you dont get sick of it.

The music is generally easy to listen to but unfortunately the same tracks are played over and over, every night. There needs to be more variety

Day and night same songs every day for months on end and to finish it of now we have a McDonald's advert 5 to 6 times every hour

The airplay has decreased progressively for maybe around 3 years and by that I mean the same tracks repeated, often in the course of a day, dreadful ,insult to listeners, can't listen to this station any more, planning insults us , it's embarrassing

SMOOTH RADIO NEEDS A NEW NAME CALLED REPEAT RADIO

I am fed up with number of times the competition is aired, even when 1hrs of non stop music is played, you air the competition.
Please give it a rest
