The Snow Mountain Holiday is not a Travel Agency but is Fraud Agency.
They give u very low & attractive quotations and once u made the payment, they started to raise the price in the name of taxi charges. The concerned person who initially provided you the quotation will no longer be in the picture and some one else will take her place by stating that the company had thrown her out as she did a misquotation. And then they revise the whole quotations with almost double the price.
The plans & hotels so booked were the worst in the list. No knowledge of the tour & itineraries. Bunch of Idiot are busy making you fool around.
Request all who ever is going through this website for review.. please AVOID THE SNOW MOUNTAIN HOLIDAY... donot trust any of their quotations...

all travel agents in india and tourists in india, i request all not to go with snowmountainholidy company because it is pacaa fraud company. first they give lowest quotation and then after finilising the quotation then they told that gst is not included and pay gst amount and also then before one week of journey they demand extra amount as cabs increased their rates. so nobody should touch with snow mountain holidays. fraud company.

snowmountainholiday.com presents itself as a travel agency, but in reality it appears to be running a well-planned scam under the guise of travel bookings. Here is exactly how their scheme works based on my experience.

1. They obtain your contact details
If you enquire about a holiday through travel aggregators or websites, somehow they get your email ID and phone number and reach out to you.

2. They send a very polished itinerary
They will send a detailed travel itinerary that clearly looks AI-generated (likely from ChatGPT). The language is polished and it covers everything, so at first it looks impressive and professional.

3. The price looks attractive
Their quote is usually slightly cheaper than other travel agencies, which naturally makes you more interested. The quote will include a line saying “GST extra”, but they conveniently do not mention the percentage.

4. They initially appear responsive
They respond to your questions and even make itinerary changes to gain your trust.

5. They ask for a 50% advance payment
They insist you pay 50% upfront so they can start bookings. They claim you can pay the rest after everything is confirmed.

6. Once you pay, communication slows down
After you transfer the 50%, suddenly responses become slow or vague.

7. They make a minimal booking to appear legitimate
They will book one cheap hotel (often through platforms like MakeMyTrip) and send you the confirmation so it looks like work is happening.

8. Then comes the hidden GST trap
When you ask about the rest of the bookings (hotels, taxis, etc.), they suddenly demand 18% GST on the total package.
This is extremely suspicious. Legitimate holiday packages in India typically charge around 5% GST, including platforms like MakeMyTrip.

9. They become aggressive if you question them
If you argue that this was not disclosed earlier, their tone changes quickly. They will claim no further bookings will be done unless you pay, and they will also say the 50% already paid is non-refundable.

10. At this point you are trapped
You either pay the extra money or lose the large advance you already paid.

11. My advice: cut your losses
From my experience, the safest option at this stage is to accept the loss and walk away. Paying more only increases your losses. Losing 50% is painful, but paying the rest may make things worse.

Even after full payment, the experience continues to be frustrating.

13. Taxi bookings become another excuse for more money
You will repeatedly follow up for taxi details. After many calls, they may demand additional payment for taxis.

14. They promise refunds they never give

Ek no ka faltu travel agency hai. Inko kuch aata nahi hai kaise travel agency kaam karta hai. Faltu hotels book karke denge and sab Paisa leke aapko kuch bhi package chipka denge. Aap log jitne logon se paise lia hai unka paise dedo acchi tarah se nahito aapka company band ho jayega. Inlog customers ke feedbacks se bhi nahi darte. Faltu ka experience lena hai to yeh travel agency mein Paisa daalo. Aapko destination pe jaake pata chalega hum to fas gaye. Aur apne paise leke khud kharcha karlo kyuki inlog to wo bhi jimmedari nahi lete. Inlog seedha bo denge humne aapko achhha hi service dia hai.

Worst experience. Ruined my vacations. I was very happy when they shared thier iteniary but later they asked for additional payment. They will never provide service as per customer. They think they sit in Noida and nothing will happen. We are not fools. will never recommend anyone.

Worst travel agency. Fraudsters and scamsters. Close your travel agency and sit at home. Stop lootofying customers hard earned money. Worst experience.

Snow mountain holiday agency is the worst travel agency. Because just like the other four reviews, me and my friends faced the same problem . So we booked a package for two places however, last minute this travel agency decided to increased the cost by saying that it got increased due to the cab booking and after a lot of convincing and discussion they gave us a service only for one place and for the other place, they cancelled it . And the price which they charged was not appropriate anymore for a single place. Stay away from this agency.

Pls. Don't go with this agency... They r fraud...
In our case for Meghalaya... they quoted us at some price and after payment and booking hotels they demanded extra 80k for further vehicle booking which was totally unacceptable. Even for 5k to 10k we would be agree as it may be not their fault... But their customer policy is not at all professional . On the contrary every time some other person is on the phone and not giving a proper reply and just demanded extra money . So please. Don't go with them and distroy your memorable tour.

Stay away. This is not a good agency.

Worst ever seen travel where they have a 100% advance pay policy before 20 days of travel and before 10 days to travel they would call and inform that you have to pay more else bookings won’t happen

Cheapest terrible unprofessional people with low integrity to handle customers who believe them for any travel. They increased the tour plan by 70k before 10 days to travel and asked money to pay else won’t book

Please never go with them and also ensure your relatives does not also fall a trap to them…they are biggest scammers!

Biggest Frauds out there - They are very cordial and polite before you pay them, and once you pay, they change the tone. They change the terms and conditions and prices in between and you will have to pay more if you want them to do the booking. Spoke to multiple people including a lady who threatened me saying if I don't pay more, i can forget my advance. I cancelled the taxi booking from them since they demanded more money, and they were supposed to return 14000 INR, and haven't done it even after 6 months.

Absolutely worst scammers, please stay away.

EDIT : 6/1/2026 - After numerous phone calls and emails , I never got any response from them. Suddenly, I got 2 calls from them one yesterday and one today, asking me to remove this review. It is funny that they think they don't deserve a negative review for what they did, and the person even told me 14000 Rs is a small amount. Well, it is a small amount for people who make that money by exploiting others. For me, I have to work hours to make that amount. Their promise is they will think about refunding the amount if I remove the review. From whatever interaction I had with them, I learned one thing, that money is gone. And I have come to terms with it. I hope this review helps to save the hard earned cash of others who are out there.

There was one more review in this platform yesterday, who went through the same experience that I did and I don't see that review anymore. Looks like they convinced the person to remove it. I will be really interested to know if they kept their side of the deal after that.
