I first went to Somerset Early Scans in Bridgwater for my 7 week pregnancy ultrasound. They were so friendly and welcoming and put me at ease immediately. Seeing that tiny Blueberry's heart beat flicker on the screen was an emotional time and so wonderful. I recently booked a private growth scan for some reassurance at the Bath branch (Paulton) at 29 weeks pregnant. I could get an appointment at such late notice and it's so easy to book. The team were just as welcoming as before. Victoria was so reassuring throughout and her kindness was so appreciated and I am so grateful for the experience she helped create.

I had 2 scans done at Somerset early scan Bridgwater and got to meet the two lovely clinicians and their assistants. Bookings were easy to make and all done to good professionals standards.

Staff were so reassuring and kind, made the whole experience really enjoyable.

We went for an early scan to help with anxiety following a previous loss, our ultrasound technician made us feel very safe, reassured and understood. she was very knowledgeable, professional, kind and friendly. As she was scanning she very quickly let us know there was a heartbeat and everything looked ok, she explained everything as she went along and we got to see our baby moving around on a big screen which was magical.
I found the environment much more professional and reassuring than previous early scan “outfits” that I have been to.
We felt genuinely cared for.

I attended an early reassurance scan due to feeling anxious about my first pregnancy. Having never undergone a transvaginal scan or any medical procedure involving a healthcare professional in such a capacity, I was understandably nervous. However, the team made me feel remarkably comfortable and at ease. I received two photos of the baby and a detailed report, which I plan to share with my midwife. I fully intend to return later to determine the baby’s gender.

The team was absolutely wonderful! Despite my needing to reschedule my appointment twice and even arriving late, they were incredibly patient and accommodating. The staff was so kind and understanding, especially since I was feeling quite nervous. They took the time to answer all my questions, ensuring I felt comfortable and reassured throughout the process. The entire experience was so positive and professional—it made such a difference to me. Highly recommend!

The appointment was really easy to book. They were on time, very professional but also really friendly and welcoming. I would recommend to anyone that would like a reassurance early scan as they put myself and my husband as ease.

The best place around to go for a pregnancy scan. I was very nervous but was reassured by Angela. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all questions I asked and gave great advise. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Easy to book, plenty of times available and when we got there and had the scan the ladies were so kind and comforting especially knowing I was anxious :)

I was seen very quickly (before my appt time in fact). The two ladies who saw me were so lovely and really knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend.

They were absolutely amazing -- we went twice, once at 6 weeks, but I was measuring too small to see an embryo, then we booked again for another scan 2 weeks later, and we saw a heartbeat! They were so reassuring and kind, the whole experience was tranquil and such a light atmosphere.

Helpful, efficient and informative

I definitely would recommend Somerset Early Scans. They were so kind and understanding, taking the time to really get to know myself and my husband. We were allowed to take a video of our baby’s heartbeat, which really made our day. I could ask any questions I needed and had the reassurance that all was well in the moment. Thank you!

I was made to feel really comfortable by two lovely specialists at my scan.
We went for a 4D scan but my baby just wasn't playing the game! However, I didn't feel rushed, several attempts to get a successful scan were made and even though we were unable to get a 4D scan we did get some 2D pictures (which are still so lovely to have!!)

The only downside was it was an early appointment and the clinic wasn't officially open yet, and I didn't realise we could access the waiting room though the Elm Hayes surgery entrance! Although I probably missed a very obvious sign!

Definitely recommend this clinic for any private pregnancy scans :)
