Great Private Custom Trivia Event!
Mark did a great job on the trivia for our daughter's wedding shower! Everyone had a ball and I heard from many of the guests on how fun it was. He was funny and professional. A couple of weeks before the event, they collected questions from the bride and groom to make a custom trivia game which our guests loved. Mark was a great host and I would definitely use Sporcle again for future events. Great job!

Horrible Video ads
The video ads are so horrible! They are just made to pop up by Sporcle, and there's no way to get around them. It's just the same video about Sporcle repeatedly, and even if you X it out it will appear at the bottom and you also have to X it out there. Also, if this isn't enough, they slow down your browser so that 3 Sporcle tabs will freeze it. Playing quizzes are fun, but this makes it irritating.

Ever since the redesign, the site is unusable if you use an adblocker. Maybe that was one of the intentions behind the redesign. When you try to do anything on the site, the Sporcle Help Us Serve You better popup blocks the content. The Sporcle popup indicates the following: We strive to not interrupt your visit with intrusive advertisements.
So I disabled ad blocker to see what would happen and within a few seconds an ad for the CDC about vaccines against COVID-19 popped up over the entire screen. Sporcle's claim that they strive not to interrupt your visit with intrusive advertisements is incorrect and this proved it.
