Star Swimming Academy Opiniones 

So Robyn started about 14 months ago and we terrified to go in the water. She now is confidently swimming and on holiday she is so confident. She is not far away from swimming for a club now. Peter Aimee and Millie have been her teachers. Bringing her out of her shell I could not recommend here enough for bringing your children on. Also if your kids have sen or any disabilities Peter is unbelievable with the kids. His time and effort with all the kids is unmatched.

My daughter has been coming to star swimming for nearly 18 months and I couldn't fault a single thing. Every member of staff is welcoming, friendly and loving towards the children, nothing is ever to much trouble and they will always go above and beyond to accommodate the children&parents.
My daughter has Peter as a teacher and he is nothing but amazing, he's a brilliant teacher, his patience/knowledge with every aspect of swimming helps encourage and motivate her to come to the lessons, as my daughter is quite shy and can take a while to warm to people. However almost instantly she clicked with Peter due to his funny and kind nature.
Would recommend star swimming highly, we went to previous swimming schools before and the standard star swimming gives excels them all.

Excellent swimming school, the level of teaching is outstanding. It is such a calm, encouraging environment and we are so grateful. The teacher Turner is extremely patient and motivates our girls so well throughout the lesson. Their confidence has blossomed over just 6 weeks

The team are unbelievable! Nurturing, knowledgeable, fun, caring and amazing at what they do. If you want your child to learn water safety in a fun, loving and safe environment this is the best place by far. Peter, Julie and the team care so much about what they do. They're in the water with your children, teaching them how to swim in an exciting and fun way. It's safe and nurturing and I honestly can not recommend this academy enough. Esther went from strength to strength, from learning how to swim to water safety. Building up her stamina as a swimmer without even realising she was learning and gaining all these skills. The team genuinely care about each student and adapt their learning to each individual. My little girl has gone from strength to strength and has progressed so far with the team. Can not recommend them enough! 5 🌟 I'd give them more if I could! Thank you so much for everything you do!

100% recommended my niece started a few months ago.Peter and Joe are great teachers and make each lesson enjoyable shes realy getting her confidence in the water and her swimming is getting better.The staff and kids are all so friendly 😀

The support from the teachers especailly julie peter and liam was more than we could have asked for as they always went above and beyond to build my childs confidence nothing was ever to much trouble for them.i would highly reccomend to anyone who is after a a swimming school as they really are proffesional caring and work on each childs own progress not just as a group isla will miss coming.

Can not recommend swim star enough, especially will and Mark who have made my son feel so comfortable and at ease from the very first lesson! He absolutely loves going and has come on so much already!

My son is 7 and has Autism. He has been going to Swim Academy for 2 months now and is close to being able to swim without swimming aids. Debbie his coach has been brilliant with him, she’s been understanding of his needs and my son loves coming here. I would highly recommend Star Swimming Academy and their staff especially Debbie.

I am someone who has never been able swim and was always frightened to get in the water. I had a recent leg injury meaning I cant exercise any more so I decided to start swimming and booked adult 1-2-1 lessons with Will. Will has been fantastic. He worked with me at my pace, always mindful of my injury and after just a few weeks I was able to swim! I will be forever grateful that Will has been able to give me access to a new skill and a way for me to be able to stay active again. Cannot recommend Star Swimming Academy enough!

My daughter absolutely loves learning to swim here and has progressed so much whilst having fun each lesson. Cannot recommend star swimming enough.

Staff are amazing. My daughter has had five lessons and has already broken through so many barriers. She'd never been swimming before because of her medical condition and she was so scared but the staff have given her so much confidence and support she now jumps in with out holding on to her instructor and will put her head under water.

She'll swim with just a swimming noodle when just a couple of weeks ago she was clinging to her instructor and really was terrified. I can’t praise the school enough, my girl is so happy and can’t wait for her next lesson. Thank you. Mandy Stirrup xxxxxxxxx

Highly recommended, my daughter loves going here , she has progressed so much since starting and hates missing a lesson, the swim teachers are all lovely so friendly and great with the kids .

Our daughter has made great progress with the star swimming team, Peter is bringing her technical skill and confidence on massively.

Will and the team taught both of my children to swim .. they make swimming so much fun and take away any fear of the water and they didn’t want to ever leave ! I have and would recommend them to anyone with complete confidence - they are the best in the business !

Star Swimming Academy is fantastic! Very professional and well organised as a business, but most importantly they are fantastic with the kids. Will is amazing and he shows just how much he cares in every lesson. My kids love it and not only is it great to see them continually improving, but also enjoying every minute. Lessons also focus on safety in and around water, which of course, is so important as the kids grow up. Thank you to Will & your team for the amazing service, your outstanding personality that the kids love, and the fun you bring to every lesson! Keep up the good work and well done!

Our son Oscar began his ‘Swim Journey’ with Will, Julie and the amazing team at Star Swimming when he was very young. They were absolutely fantastic with him, and their kindness and professionalism are the reason he is now a 16 year old, National Level breast stroke swimmer travelling all over the country and even abroad. The life skills and habits Star Swimming taught him have been a major contributing factor into making him the well rounded and successful young man he is turning out to be. Can’t thank, or recommend Will and the team enough. ❤️

Top class swim school. My daughter lacked confidence and wasn't making much progress. Will and his team changed that with positive feedback and adding fun into the lessons. She is now a confident swimmer and I couldn't speak more highly of Will and his team.

“Alt Bridge School has had the pleasure of using Star Swimming Academy for over 15 years to help our youngsters gain one of the most important life skills you can have – learning to swim. Will Kildaire and his team of instructors have taught thousands of our students to learn how to swim and the impact that they have had in this time has been profound.

Alt Bridge School is a popular and oversubscribed SEND provision with nearly 300 learners with a variety of learning needs. The school’s provision has virtually tripled in the last six years, as we continue to grow and support students with increasingly more complex needs. I have been in the school for the last five years as Head of the Physical Development Curriculum, and work very closely with Will and his team in order to gain the very best learning experience for our students.

Unless you have been able to witness Will and his team in action with young people, it is extremely difficult to put into words how exceptional they are – it is an experience that nobody should miss and a fantastic example to any young teachers and leaders on how to get the best out of their learners. Many of our students experience high levels of anxiety which is often heightened when performing any kind of physical activity, particularly a potentially dangerous one in swimming. However, as soon as our students arrive at the pool they are immediately put at ease by Will and his team, and you can visibly see any anxiety that they have leave them, to be replaced with assurance and self-confidence. Will and his team are explicit in the safety boundaries that they are required to set, but they do this in such a compassionate, calm, friendly and kind way. The confidence and self-belief that they are able to instil in the students is remarkable, but the impact of their teaching is clear for all to see as students go from not being able to perform any kind of stroke or movement, to fully moving across the water repeatedly (widths and lengths) without stopping.

Our students do approximately six week blocks, and the progress that they make in that time is phenomenal. All students who are taught by Will and his team love the sessions (this can be evidenced in questionnaires that the students have completed), and they regularly look forward to going back. The most significant area where the school has been supported this year by Star Swimming is in students with the most complex needs having access to swimming this year. Every teacher who has taken their class down to Swimming has been so complimentary about Will and the team in how patient they are with the students but also how motivational they have been.

The increase in our intake year on year, and the popularity of swimming amongst the students has led to an increased demand for swimming and we are hoping to use Star Swimming with many more groups from September 2025. I have been in a PE teacher and leader for 30 years. Will and his team without doubt are amongst the best practitioners that I have ever worked with. They are an excellent example of how to get the very best out of young people with their expertise, patience, kindness, humour, determination, high standards and the belief that they instil in the students.
