The person I spoke to was very helpful and polite, running through all aspects of my policy and answering any questions I had.

I was dealt with by amber taylor she was really patient with me as im not very technical and class myself as a dinosaur in a modern world she made sure i understood everything and gave me the best price possable i was really happy with my quote and she used as much of my information from last year that she could to save me the stress of trying to upload and email loads of information somthing im really not good at im old school and 1st impressions is everythingi have cut many a phone conversation early as i cant cope when someone is throwing loads of numbers at you thanks amber much apreciated.

The representative was very helpful and explained everything in detail. Nothing was too much trouble.
She looked for quotes other than the one I found on a comparison website and saved me even more money.

Had the renewal letter from Staveley Head so phoned them up to see if they could match my compared quote and had the pleasure of speaking to Amber Taylor. After going through the quote details, Amber was able to reduce my premium to lower than my compared quotes With extra cover. Amber was polite, professional and knowledgeable. Excellent service, thank you.

Under no circumstances use this company unless you like stress, hassle, diabolical administration and want to spend hours sending copious amounts of paperwork trying to prove who you are!
If I could give them no stars I would, this is the first review of anything I have ever written because I feel so strongly about what a disfunctional company this is!!!

AVOID THESE BLACKMAILING SCAMMERS AT ALL COSTS! My dad took out camper van insurance and paid a £147 deposit. (Insurance was £580 for the full year) he decided to cancel WITHIN the first 14 days of taking the policy out… with this we were expecting a refund as he paid such a high deposit and to have only have paid for the amount of insurance for the days he had been insured for. Was told that he wouldn’t be receiving any refund back and ACTUALLY HAD TO PAY £55.55 otherwise they would not cancel the policy… all in all less than two week insurance cost over £200 even though the full policy was only £580. How does that even make sense… the staff were rude and obnoxious and kept saying different stories as to why he was charged more. PLEASE PLEASE LOOK AT THE REVIEWS ON GOOGLE AND PELASE AVOID! Manager Chloe Gordon who I spoke too… your just as bad as all of your vile robotic employees and you should all be ashamed of yourselves. Blackmailing and ripping people off. I’ve reported to the financial ombudsman and hope to got you get shut down! Scammers!

The worst insurance company I’ve ever had the displeasure dealing with. Cancelled our policy without us knowing apparently sent a refund - no such refund. Absolute nightmare of a company!!

Amber was the lady who arranged our insurance she was lovely very helpful we renewed with the company the service was excellent 👍

Insured with Staveley Head on my campervan this year...my god, they want to know all the in's and outs of a cats backside. No sure why they need your NI number, perhaps someone could explain? Never before have I had to provide so much information when insuring a vehicle. They even rejected my NCB confirmation on my renewal letter from my previous insurer, it HAD to be a NCB certificate. I'd never heard of a NCB certificate. Turns out it's just a letter saying what your NCB is, so why my renewal letter wasn't acceptable in the first place lord only knows. Any other insurer accepts a copy of your renewal as proof of NCB, but not Staveley Head. I very much doubt I will be renewing with them next year, I'll go back to my previous insurer.

And I find it very rude that when you receive an email from Customer Service, there's never a name at the bottom, just "Many thanks".

Excellent renewal price beating other companies by over £120. I will continue to use them.

this was the most difficult policy I have ever taken out never be fore have I had to send so much proof of who I am so many copies of this and that .been on this now nearly two days now and still not been finalised .and with not being an IT expert .and not using pc often its been a pain having to sit here most of the day scanning documents to send as there site was down this morning .so if your reading this please up date so this dont happen to the elderly people like me

AVOID this company. They are SCAMMERS and give you a cheap quote. Then start to ask you for all kinds of information that has never been mentioned.if you ask to cancel charges are extremely expensive. You have been warned. We are reporting them to trading standards. Read all the other reviews. God knows how we will go on if we ever have to claim. Communication is abismal as is their attitude. Once again.

One star but should be zero star, absolutely shocking company once they have you money! They Don’t answer phone calls or emails, ask for a mountain of evidence (including sensitive info such as you NI number. Avoid like the plague

There was an issue from my previous insurance company but Staveley Head sorted it and made life so much easier to get my full no claims, their customer service team took the time to chase the last company and gave me my rights. Thank you

Worse company ever been with. go through so many checks when you first take out the policy. goes on forever. then cancel the policy half way through the term as you sell the vehicle and they charge you £85 to cancel. daylight robbery to push the delete key.

I called about my renewal and spoke to Harvie, he went through all my details and I'm glad to say the new price was a lot cheaper. Been with them for 3 years now and no complaints.

Absolutely appalling company , they cancelled my insurance because I couldn’t give them details of my bank account, extremely intrusive documentation and proof needed to take out a policy, ni number lots of photos of the camper, the only thing they didn’t ask for was a copy of my dna and a blood sample, avoid this company at all costs it will end up costing you more than you can imagine. For the record I have contacted the fca about this firm.
