I have personally used Stephensons for over 20 years. I have never been disappointed with the service, Duncan is exceptional he always kept me updated with my current case and once again going above and beyond to get us the best outcome.
Nobody wants to end up in a situation for a solicitor but i gurantee you will not be disappointed with these guys

Huge thanks to Gillian and Kate for a brilliant job with both our house sale and purchase. This was my second time using Stephensons, and I would use them again in the future. I had a couple of hiccups during my house purchasing process - my first one fell through and unexpected title issues came up in the second - but both times, they were dealt with quickly and I was kept well informed. Would highly recommend - they made what I expected to be a long and stressful process, actually quite nice and easy.

Duncan Phillips recently represented me at the Magistrates’ Court. I am extremely grateful for the outcome, and I truly appreciate everything he did to achieve it. I have recently used Stephenson's on an employment matter. Whilst I encountered issues from my employer, the solicitor assigned to my case, Stephen Woodhouse, ensured his part of the process was smooth and efficient, and helped to relieve the feelings of anxiety I had throughout. Stephen was very thorough and ensured I was happy before he concluded our business. I have used Stephensons on a couple of occasions now, for different matters, and would not hesitate to recommend their services.

I have recently dealt with Shay Winstanley @ Stephensons. He was very understanding of a situation that was very upsetting to myself - he responded efficently and offered very practical, yet professional advice. Would highly recommend.

I wish I’d read these reviews before using this poor excuse for a law firm.
It seems to be a safe house for underperforming law graduates. I had to explain basic legal processes to them as well as other solicitors and regulators and they still insisted they were correct (they weren’t)

I still can’t get my head around them making such basic errors and showing no accountability or self awareness of that fact. They lack professionalism and client care.

They discriminate against disabled people in the most disgusting ways failing to make reasonable adjustments to communication as other reviewers have mentioned. Expect to be met with belligerence, antagonism and retaliation if you dare stand up to their hostility towards disabilities

Caused irreversible damage to my case because of their embarrassing mistakes and took no responsibility for the complaint either. When I tried to resolve it their staff showed frustration with my limitations because of my disabilities and senior staff and their complaints team ignored urgent complaints

Their discrimination team is clearly a refuge for ‘lawyers’ who can’t find employment with a reputable firm. The discrimination team really should close itself down as it is filled with narcissistic Nurse Ratched types who also lack the intellect of a goose

Always there via phone or email, clearly explained everything and when I had questions answered those.

They were great in accomodating me and my purchase, could not recommend more!

My wife and i are both 78 years old ,and as such over our lives we have had dealings with different legal firms, but the service we have had with Stephensons has been fantastic .Our questions answered , as were our e mails always promptly delt with. We were kept up to date with our case all the time, our phone calls were always returned .
