I signed up to the Woodford branch after my previous self storage (elsewhere) was broken into. This place has a great security system with many cameras throughout and a large screen which are watched from the office. This was essential after my previous experience. When I signed up Neill helped me and spoke me through it showing me my options and helped me find what would work best for me. Both Neill and Paul are always very friendly and helpful whenever I see them. There’s also a communal kitchen and toilets on site which is great when you’ve got a long day there. I’ve been here for 8 months now and have no intentions of leaving anytime soon. Great price for a great service. Friendly staff and clean well maintained building.

I was already a Storebox customer, but a change in circumstances meant I needed to revisit my storage needs. I wasn’t sure whether to change unit size, extend my rental, or explore other options.

John was absolutely brilliant. He took the time to talk me through everything clearly – from different unit sizes to pricing and practicalities – so I could work out what would suit me best. There was no pressure, just honest, friendly, and professional advice that really helped me make the right decision.

The facility itself is clean, secure, and well maintained, but it’s John’s on-site support that truly sets Storebox apart. Having someone genuinely helpful who takes the time to understand your situation makes all the difference.

We've had a great experience at BWI/Storebox Woodford Green recently. Neill and Paul went out of their way to help us arrange several storage units at very short notice. It was good to be able to do this face-to-face rather than online and they really helped to take the stress out of the situation. I'd thoroughly recommend the Woodford Green facility – fantastic service from the team, thank you!

I've been using Storebox Self Storage for several years, including facilities in Farnworth and Hornsey, London. The units are clean, secure, and weatherproof, offering excellent value compared to other providers. Customer service is consistently friendly and responsive. Booking online is straightforward, and the process at the sites is efficient. Highly recommend their convenient and reliable storage!

John at the Northallerton branch was very helpful during check-in and also when I finished up my rental. Unit was perfect for my needs as a stop gap during a house move - clean and easy to access.

Fantastic service and I know my belongings are safe and secure. Neil is so helpful with everything including helping me with delayed payment giving advice on storage and even calling me to check I’m fine with everything, I wouldn’t use anywhere else.

Mylockup at Northallerton was recently transferred to Storebox so I was a little wary or the outcomes. I am sure there were one or two teething problems but that’s to be expected and my recent experience tells me that all is OK. John who met me at the lockup to discuss downsizing my unit was, polite, professional and really helpful. He laid out the various options went through costs and showed me various unit options so I could get a visual feel and see what might work. Whilst a lot of things can be done online having someone on site to help you make the best decision is priceless and makes all the difference. John is also a good source of local knowledge which when you are still exploring what’s available in the area is a boon.

My local My Lockup has been taken over by Storebox. Absolutely not for the better. Every time I phone up to pay, the computer system isn’t working, or they don’t have the facility to take payment. They want me to set up a direct debit or regular card payment, which I don’t want to do. Apparently ground floor storage units are also going to be at a premium! Used to be personable service, and you knew the people who worked there who were always helpful. Now it’s just a voice on the end of a phone (who usually can’t do what you need them to anyway)!

An excellent company to the fullest extent! Everything is done via phone, online, and emails without having to meet anyone. Everything is processed smoothly and seamlessly. When you make a call, the gate opens automatically, and you use your storage along with instructions and your storage number, which you receive via email beforehand. The place is very secure. I highly recommend it.

Great experience, my first time using storage units. John at Bishop Auckland was polite, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and communication was easy. I would recommend him and the company to anyone.

Wanted secure long term storage in Bishop Auckland but was unsure what I'd get for my money. Then I met John at storebox. Had a very informative chat, no pressure, no hard sell - just a genuine honest talk about what I needed and what they had to offer. Got a tour to gauge the actual size of units, did some paperwork and was sorted. Can't praise John enough for helping me out. Great staff member. Very clean and secure premises. Very happy customer.
