I CAN NOT recommend Storagebox. There are serious concerns about security at this facility and incidents have been reported that should never happen in a place where people trust a company with their belongings. What makes it worse is the lack of proper follow up and the way customers are left feeling unsupported and unprotected. A storage provider should prioritise safety and accountability and this facility does not meet that standard. I would strongly advise others to look for alternatives.

The place is clean and offer good size storage boxes. A very secure unit and cctv all round. Amanda Cargill was our first point of contact she was very helpful, informative and friendly definitely use again in future.

Would 100% recommend, so easy to use and great customer service!

I am deeply disappointed and distressed by my experience with Storebox Stratford following a break-in at my unit. What has happened since the incident has been just as worrying as the theft itself.

My storage unit was broken into and valuable business equipment was stolen. Despite the serious nature of the incident, Storebox has failed to provide clear answers to very basic questions regarding security, CCTV, and their responsibility as a storage provider. They haven't even bother to call us on the day, they sent an email which sit at 'Spam', we realised this ourselves after 4 days.

Even more concerning, after the burglary, my unit was accessed again without my permission, the door was left unlocked, and a replacement lock was left inside the unit with no notification. After such a traumatic event, this level of negligence is unacceptable.

To make matters worse:
• The fence where the break-in occurred was not repaired for over 15 days.
• We previously reported an attempted break-in in December 2024, yet no meaningful security improvements were made.
• CCTV footage is either “unavailable” or not being shared, which raises serious questions about safety and transparency.
• I was originally provided with a £10,000 declared value confirmation, yet Storebox’s system reflected £8,000, and there is still no clear explanation for this discrepancy.

Communication has been slow, unclear, and evasive. I have repeatedly asked for written clarification, but my questions remain unanswered.

For a company that advertises “secure storage”, this experience has been the opposite. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic security measures is shocking.

This has caused financial loss, stress, and significant emotional impact. I would not recommend Storebox Stratford to anyone looking for secure storage until they address these failures, improve transparency, and take customer safety seriously.

Really easy to book and close down after use. Would recommend

Have been a customer at Bishop auckland for several years now Was in my unit on Wednesday and met up with new manager Amanda Had met her briefly previously when she covered for John Had a good chat with her Very friendly, organised and approachable Sorted me out a great deal with a bigger unit in place of the 2 (two) that I had at the time Saving me money and an easier time Fantastic job look forward to a good working relationship with her Absolutely brilliant

I recently spoke to Zaid at Store Box and couldn’t be more pleased with the service. Zaid was extremely helpful from start to finish professional, polite, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was sorted perfectly. It’s rare to find such genuine customer service these days, but Zaid really delivered. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a smooth, reliable, and hassle-free experience

Extremely helpful and great value for money. Very clean and well maintained units. We had to extend our contract a couple of times during our rental, which was done with great ease. I can’t thank Amanda, who runs the site at Birtley enough for everything she did to help us. Always available at the end of the phone or just an email away. Her knowledge and expertise made everything go smoothly. I would definitely recommend and use again if needed.

Zaid helped me lot with everything. Also, the whole team was very supportive. They helped me to arrange everything in an hour. Really appreciate their help.

Used Storebox Sheffield on a number of times, yard secure, unit clean and no damp and when I’ve needed to contact John who manages the site, great communication

I appreciated the way in which the manager, Jo, explained how to operate the lift and how to access the Storebox. She was really patient and helpful as I had never used this sort of facility before.
The place was exceptionally clean and tidy, a pleasure to use.

The storage unit was extremely competitively priced, the set up and access was well explained, easy to follow and worked flawlessly.
The unit itself was clean and easy to access. Customer services have been easy to contact and prompt and helpful with their responses. I have been very impressed with the service from beginning to end.

I would definitely recommend and will use them again.

The storage unit was immaculate. I used it to store my furniture whilst my home was being renovated. After 3 months the furniture emerged in pristine.
Site however could do with levelling it was a bit bumpy.
Might be okay for trade vehicle but not ideal for personal vehicle especially if your fussy.

Great rates, clean site, new units and easy access. Site Manager Amanda can’t do enough to help.
