I used the Bishop Auckland Storage facility for over 3 years, I really appreciated the support from the team during the time and especially when it came to the process for moving everything out of my storage unit.
I felt my belongings were very safe and secure, the units themselves were spacious, very clean and secure. The whole set up was very professional but friendly with comment boards for users of the storage units, plenty of trolleys and instructions for securing units when accessing the building. I would definitely recommend !

I rented a Storebox unit in east London for 4 months. Beware - as the price doubles after the first 2 months. Storebox changed our passcode WITHOUT NOTIFYING US and we could not access our belongings. There were no staff on site. Very luckily we went to our unit in office hours and managed to reach Storebox staff on the phone to find out our new number. When I gave notice to leave , Storebox still sent me an invoice for the next rental period. When I left my unit Storebox sent me another invoice for £0.00!! The company makes you buy a padlock from them although you can provide your own padlock as well. You can rent storage space with Storebox but be prepared for the pitfalls.

Easy to get a storage space and at good price very convenient location

I've used this service twice.
Easy access to storage. Reasonable price.
I didn't give it 5 because they don't make it easy to reuse the padlock I bought the first time round. As a result my second use meant I had to buy another padlock to get access to the storage. So now I have 2 storage box padlocks. It would be good if the option to reuse a padlock was available.

Storebox in Knaresborough is nicely sited on the York Road. Easy access and a very helpful/knowledgable manager called Paul. Thank you.

I had a fantastic experience with Storebox! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and eager to help. The entire process—from touring the facility to signing up for a unit—was quick, easy, and transparent.

The facility itself is spotless, secure, and well-lit. I really appreciate the climate-controlled units and 24/7 access, which gave me peace of mind knowing my belongings were safe and easily accessible whenever I needed them. They also have plenty of moving carts and wide hallways, which made moving in a breeze.

Customer service here is top-notch. Any questions I had were answered promptly and politely. It’s clear that they care about their customers and take pride in keeping the place in excellent condition.

If you're looking for a clean, secure, and hassle-free storage solution, I highly recommend.

Amanda has been an absolutely amazing person in helping us with sorting out our unit in Chester-Le-Street. She is so welcoming and friendly!! She helped us talk to our moving company and make sure things were stacked to how we needed them (we were too anxious and socially awkward to ask them), she made us a brew and explained everything super clearly!

Thank you so much for making a very stressful move across the country so much easier. :)

Very convenient for storing your goods access at anytime the units are very secure and safe would highly recommend. John at Bishop Auckland was extremely helpful and courteous when we finished using the unit and cancelling the agreement.

This is an unethical, poorly managed, fraudulent company that has an issue with their paying system and will unlawfully place overlocks on your unit. My experience at the little Heath site in Romford managed by ‘Zaid’ has been nothing short of appalling and I encourage customers to look elsewhere for somewhere they can safely store their belongings with peace of mind. The company authorise direct debit payments when the unit is established yet take them at will, on random dates etc and will claim you are ‘behind on payments’ even if a.) they have already taken the money b.) have not processed the automated payment. Communication is incredibly poor and unreliable, there is no notification of issues annd any emails threatening drastic punitive measures tend to come from other named companies creating further confusion, and with warrant or warning. I can only think the company are hoping for double payment. A real shame as other reviews are positive and I have spent a huge amount both transferring my belongings here and with my rental unit, but there is clearly an internal company shift going on and etiquette and reliability completely dropped. Sites are no longer staffed on weekends too, so there is no one to help in the case of emergencies to solve the issues they have created from their end and instead the customer gets the blame. I travelled down for two hours on the weekend to retrieve my very elderly grandmothers birthday presents and important documents required for the next week and found myself locked out with an overlock due to the above (and is not the first time this has happened and was assured it had been resolved). In this economy, it is despicable to be paying a company that fails to uphold its promised service. I am now having to change my entire week, working plans expenditure on train fairs because of this. Really really disappointing.

John and Chris came out at 6am to fix my door as the chain had come off. Great experience with customer service once again.

Couldn’t be any more helpful. I would definitely recommend using them in the future. This is customer service how it should be done !!

We have visited many units over recent weeks and none have been as clean, organised and Tom is always prepared to help and advise. Cannot recommend enough.

Excellent facility! Clean and well maintained. Paul Radford in Knaresborough was extremely helpful in discussing our options and facilitating things for us.
We would have no hesitation in using these facilities again should the need arise.

Secure and easy access, had the unit for 3 years plus, good price and size for what I needed.
Helpful customer service whenever contacted, had a great experience with Storebox and would definitely use again.

Needed some additional storage capacity in Northallerton (we already have a unit) and spoke to manager, John, over the phone. He was super helpful. Arranged a booking in a flash, no drama, no hassle, great service.

Paul at Topcliffe Storebox has been great. The unit has been perfect for what we needed it for. Its always kept clean and is easy to access.

I rent 2 units in Bridlington and Teresa the manager is always helpful and very understanding. I wouldnt go anywhere else. The price, having looked around at other storage sites is fair as the units are clean and the overall site is spot on. Thank you.
