I bought an Audi e-tron from Manchester…
I bought an Audi e-tron from Manchester Audi as an Audi Approved Used vehicle, expecting a properly checked, premium-standard car.
Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of that.
After purchase, I had serious concerns about the vehicle’s condition, including visible panel alignment issues and signs that the rear passenger door may have previously been repaired or replaced. The door did not appear consistent with the rest of the car, which raised obvious concerns about whether the vehicle had been properly inspected and accurately represented before sale.
An independent inspection I commissioned supported these concerns, confirming that the rear passenger door should not have been on the vehicle. I also discovered a cracked window screen, which raised further questions about the quality of the checks carried out before the car was sold. My concern is not about how quickly these issues were addressed, but that the vehicle was knowingly sold as an Audi Approved Used car when, in my view, it did not meet the standards required for that scheme at all.
I also had concerns about the overall preparation and quality checks carried out before handover. In addition, there was a mould issue in the vehicle that I raised with the garage, making them aware that my child had pneumonia (which they knew previous to me driving away) and that this was a serious health concern for our family. Despite this, I did not feel the matter was treated with the urgency or seriousness it deserved. For an Approved Used Audi, I expected a much higher standard and far more transparency.
The vehicle registration was NJ72 GVX.
What made things worse was the way the issue was handled afterwards. Rather than feeling reassured, I felt I had to push for answers and challenge the position myself. Audi UK indicated the vehicle would not meet the expected Approved Used standard, which only reinforced my concerns. Even more concerning, after the vehicle was collected from me, it was placed back up for sale the very next day despite the issues that had been identified and raised. In my view, this demonstrated a disregard for the standard expected of an Audi Approved Used vehicle and a willingness to market the car again while fully aware of the concerns surrounding its condition.
When buying from a main Audi dealer, especially under the Approved Used scheme, customers are paying for confidence, quality and peace of mind. In this case, I did not feel I received that.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Manchester Audi. Please check any vehicles from here.

Recently had my service and MOT carried out, they also replaced spark plugs, break fluid etc. Now when I put my foot down on the accelerator, warning drive system fault and engine warning lights come on. Advised by AA to return to Audi to check this out as it could be an issue with spark plugs. Went in today to see if they could just have a quick look to check if it was something simple, loose plug/connection, they said they couldn’t look at it for nearly 2 weeks! I said I’d be able to come in early next day or next week just so they could determine the fault, but it was a no. I remember when this branch use to go above and beyond for customers which is why I keep going back, may look into other Audi branches in future.
Audi Manchester
Took my car into Audi Manchester with a rear parking sensor issue. They diagnosed that there was a fault in the system and had 'reset' the sensors and to bring it back if any further error. Following this the parking sensors were worse than before and so I decided to call into Audi Stockport who told me that the parking sensors cannot be reset. I then contacted Audi Manchester and happened to get through to stratstone customer service who arranged an appointment for 11 May...this was quite a while away. I arrived on 11th May expecting the issue to be looked at (my car is
under warranty)however, upon arrival it was clear that the decision had been made that this issue would not be dealt with under warranty, nor my concerns taken seriously. The customer care here is extremely poor. Whilst I accept that some ussues cannot be dealt with
under warranty, the treatment I have received from Audi Manchester is wholly unacceptable. I have contacted Stratstone Uk to log a complaint however this will not be dealt with until 18th May (if at all judging by other reviews) this coincides with my warranty running
out.
In my view Audi Manchester are incompetent and untrustworthy and I would not recommend.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I have received at Manchester Audi, particularly regarding the provision of courtesy cars during servicing and repairs.
I have been a loyal Audi customer for over eight years, having purchased three different models during this time—from the A3 and Q3 to my current Q5. I have always appreciated the quality of your vehicles and trusted your brand and service. I am also planning to change my car again in September next year.
However, I have now experienced three very unpleasant incidents at the same dealership.
On each occasion, when my car was booked in for servicing or repair, I reserved a courtesy car approximately two months in advance. Under normal circumstances, this should allow sufficient time for proper arrangements to be made. I therefore expect that the courtesy car would be available upon my arrival.
Unfortunately, each time I arrived, your staff informed me that the courtesy car was not available because “the previous customer had not returned it on time.” I was also told that additional charges might apply. This same explanation has been repeated on all three occasions.
I find this extremely frustrating and difficult to accept. After long waiting times and repeated discussions, a replacement vehicle was eventually provided, but the entire process was stressful and disappointing. On each occasion, I have had to go through repeated back-and-forth discussions, explanations, and long waiting times, which have cost me a significant amount of time and energy. Moreover, the vehicle offered was always of a lower category than my own, which is not acceptable.
Booking a courtesy car two months in advance is precisely to allow your team enough time to plan and avoid such issues. Repeatedly giving the same explanation and creating unnecessary obstacles gives the impression that the dealership is unwilling to provide the service as promised.
Experiencing this once might be understandable, but this has now happened three times over the past few years, all at the same Manchester Audi location. This has significantly affected my confidence in your service and has been particularly disappointing as a loyal Audi customer.
I would like you to understand that such experiences do not only cause inconvenience but also damage customer trust. I will be reconsidering my options when I purchase my next car in September next year, and I will also share my experience with friends and colleagues.
I sincerely hope that you will take this feedback seriously, review your internal processes, and ensure that other customers do not encounter the same issues in the future. Saving small costs in this way risks losing long-term loyal customers, which ultimately harms the company’s reputation and interests.

Excellent customer service. I travelled from Bolton to Manchester after a disappointing experience at another Audi, and I’m very glad I did. What they didn't know is I am a Range Rover customer for 10years first time Audi owner and first time walking into your showrooms.
From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel welcome and treated with genuine professionalism and respect. My issue was resolved quickly and efficiently on the same day, which I truly appreciated.
A special thank you to Muhammed for delivering outstanding service he was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The rest of the team were equally friendly and welcoming.
I’ll definitely be returning for future services and upgrades despite the distance I rather be treated equally and respectfully.

4 Weeks and still no refund
Cancelled my order less than 24 hours after the purchase as I decided I didn’t want to do PCP. Still wanted a car just through another payment option. The salesman was very rude on the phone telling me “it’s not that easy” when I asked to cancelled, although I was well within my rights and the 14 day cancellation window. 4 weeks after the cancellation and confirmation email I am yet to receive my deposit back. I’ve called the garage on numerous occasions for the sales manager to be always busy and still no deposit back into my account. A thousand pounds is a lot of money to anyone but to this crowd it’s not worthy of attention it would seem
I wouldn’t recommend this garage to anyone , totally untrustworthy.

Although being a dealership and prices may appear a little high the customer care, the assistance and preciseness of knowing what is wrong with your vehicle makes you understand why the prices are like they are it is well worth it to have your vehicle serviced or repaired at this dealership

4 and half hour wait for a service
4 and half hour wait for a service. Upon completion asked for all printout of all the problems assured me it was on its way 24 hours had past still no email had to phone up told its being sent. Finally got a email which was an invoice which is not what I requested. Got a courtesy call a few hours later and the manager told me it had been deleted and I had to go in a few days later to have it looked at again. Frustrated to say the least. Very unprofessional

The new car had faults from day one
The new car had faults from day one. Although these have since been fixed, it took over a month, and was after I was told that the car had gone through a full inspection (which took over a week, despite me being told that the car would be available to pick up the day after I signed the agreement).
When I received the car it was not of the specificaiton sold to me e.g. missing head-up display, entertainment system, lighting etc.
I was put under a lot of pressure by the sales team to sign the contract prior to the month-end. They never provided the specification sheet to me. When I queried it, they seemed to want to pass the buck between themselves as to who was responsible for this.
I was told by the sales manager that he would take steps to resolve my issues, but I have heard nothing from him since. I have asked for the complaints procedure twice and this has still not been provided to me.
