My experience with Mercedes-Benz Glasgow was very straightforward all thanks to Gemma! She was extremely helpful from the first time I made contact to handover of the new car. She is always very friendly and her customer service is brilliant!

Parts Department - Mercedes Glasgow. Quick, efficient and professional service. Sean was friendly and dealt with my enquiry with the minimum of fuss.

Very disappointing experience with Mercedes-Benz of Glasgow

On 24 August, we viewed and test-drove an A-Class at the Glasgow branch. We remained in contact with the salesperson and explained that we also intended to enquire about a similar white A-Class at the Hamilton branch.

When we visited Hamilton, we were told that the white vehicle had been sold. We were therefore advised that the original Glasgow vehicle was still available and could be purchased instead. We discussed its condition, including a deep, visible scratch near the rear number plate, and were assured that it could be repaired.

Relying on this information, we agreed to proceed and paid a £200 deposit. Only afterwards were we told that the Glasgow vehicle had also apparently been sold or reserved and was no longer available.

We subsequently received conflicting explanations about when and to whom the vehicle had been sold or reserved. We also noticed that it continued to be advertised on the Mercedes-Benz website and CarGurus after we had been told it was unavailable. This raised concerns about the accuracy of the information provided and the vehicle’s actual status.

The communication and coordination between the Glasgow and Hamilton branches were extremely disappointing. We were encouraged to proceed, paid a deposit and were then told that the vehicle was unavailable, causing unnecessary inconvenience, confusion and financial uncertainty.

Overall, this was a very disappointing customer experience. We expected clearer communication and better coordination between the two branches. We hope Mercedes-Benz of Glasgow will review what happened and ensure that customers are not placed in a similar situation in future.

I have used Stratstone Mercedes Glasgow to service my AMG for the last five years, however this time my pride and joy was returned to me with oily hand prints on almost every panel and what looks like spilled oil on the panel in front of the bonnet. The drivers floor mat also had grubby footprints. I was told the car had been washed but it still had the marks from being driven there in the rain and brake dust on the wheels. Worse than that was the indifferent attitude of the assistant service manager and the service manager who offered a valet despite knowing I had to return to Aberdeen. I expected much better from a Mercedes dealer.

I had an amazing experience here. All the staff so friendly. Paula was the sales associate that helped me and she was fabulous. So attentive, so helpful and knew so much about the process that it made it feel easy. Absolutely fantastic branch. Couldn’t fault them at all.

This is Stratstone Milton St. I asked them to check the rear voice amplification and fit the twin horns that should have come with the vehicle. They never even checked to see if the amplification was working, it wasn't. The new horn was exactly the same as the old one, 98db. Should be 110 to 118 dbs.I used to have a Micra with a louder horn than this, it is not audible above 30mph.I paid £88000 for the car. They promised to phone me back the next day but they did not return my call.

That would be bad enoug, but a second call was also not returned!

I was so impressed with MB of Glasgow from my first contact with them and my experience only got better, to culminate and be fortunate enough to purchase a beautiful used AMG C43.

Nothing was too much trouble, even turning up unannounced and having to travel over 400 miles one way to pick up the dream machine was more than pleasurable! The team are full of knowledge, patience and understanding, nothing is/was too much trouble. Thanx for the great service guys.

Recently purchased another new V Class for our fleet from Mercedes Benz of Glasgow. We routinely experience great service from the team in the service department but a special mention goes to Gemma in corporate sales. She is a credit to the company. Pleasant, professional and always maintains great communication. A pleasure to deal with again!

Got the car from this dealership in 2024 on a PCP agreement. After experiencing a drivetrain error, the RAC attended and confirmed there was a fault. took the car to the dealership, they claimed they were unable to replicate the faults and told me to take the complaint to Mercedes-Benz directly.
What I don’t understand is that when everything is going well, they present themselves as Mercedes-Benz. But when something goes wrong, suddenly they’re “not Mercedes” and want to distance themselves from the issue. The RAC technician’s findings were dismissed simply because they weren’t “their” technician, (seriously ?!!)
The repair manager was rude and unhelpful throughout the process. I even asked to speak to someone else, but the receptionist transferred me back to the same person. Every interaction felt confrontational, as though she’s constantly on the defensive instead of listening to the customer and trying to help.
This experience has completely changed my opinion of this dealership and the brand’s safety issue . We won’t be returning and, sadly, they’ve lost a customer……..

I’ve dealt with Mercedes in my home country lotsa times, and the service has always been first class unlike my experience with at Strathstone Glasgow has been the complete nightmare The level of customer service I’ve received falls way below the standard I expect from the brand. Still haunts me
even returned the car without washing it. This is nowhere near the level of service in other “Mercedes” branch

We bought a Mercedes GLE e Hybrid, Back in May Nicholas Morrison who was dealing with us. What a lovely salesman, he talked us through it all step by step, as we was sending a friend up to collect the car. as we live in Wales. We will definitely be back.

Great experience from Mercedes, particularly Janet and Lindzey the technician- professional, friendly and understanding. Great service from both of these employees. Nothing was an issue when I car had an electrical fault - they were both straight on it and made sure it was quick - I was moving house on the same day and they sorted it within 2-3 days- brilliant work.
