Great team for any prospective tennant who needs help in finding the right property.

We recently sold our house with Symonds and Sampson. We used the Sherborne office, massive thanks to Kirsty, Amy and Kim.

From our initial chats with various estate agents before putting our house on the market, we felt that Kirsty had our best interests at heart, she made the experience easy. Selling is not always as straightforward as you want it to be, and we really appreciated Kirsty and Amy honest conversations in getting the best price for our property.

After our house had been sold subject to terms and conditions, Kim helped us through to exchange and alongside our solicitors made the whole process simple and as stress free as possible.

A very smooth purchase of our new home from the Beaminster office of Symonds Sampson. This was made possible by the very helpful and efficient Matt and James. Their knowledge of the properties on offer and local information was so helpful and positive.

Although Peter wasn't our estate agent, he was constantly providing us with updates and helping to unstick problems between all parties. This was a real plus, as there were some difficult moments and without Peter on hand, resolution would have taken a lot longer. Marianne was also good at progressing things and keeping us in the picture.

Excellent service from Peter Grout-Smith in the Poundbury office. The complete process; sensible valuation, buyer selection and client handling was seamless. I cannot rate them highly enough.

Made our move into our new rented accommodation from our previous property very straight forward , very professional and all done with a smile.

Arranged a viewing for a rental property in Yeovil. After a two and a half hour drive viewed the property liked it and the location offered to take the property on and put a holding deposit down. Told I couldn’t as she the letting agent had other viewings. She told me she would get back to me later that day or tomorrow. Never heard back, no email no call , just rented it out to someone else. Very rude and poor customer service, avoid this company with it’s arrogance if you can.

Sturminster newton branch ,Dismissive arrogant manager,showed us a property , didnt introduce himself , told us immediately the property needed improvement new wiring etc , no problem with that, but was then dismissive of any further questions , subsequently didnt answer e mails asked another staff.member to prompt him after a week , eventually phoned and seemed very irritated with my questions about the property and gave me misinformation , a most peculiar experience all round , dont use that branch .

Matt Edwards and the Symonds and Sampson team in Beaminster were superb. Efficient and professional in every way. My family is very appreciative of everything they did for us. Highly recommended.

But I must say, we have been looking for a small plot of land for 2 years and I have spoke with will Cairns.. many many times, he has always been so helpful, kind, polite, and never made me feel rushed.

This a firm with good local knowledge and prompt and efficient friendly service. They shine by being independent of some corporate chain and so concentrate on the job of selling your home. Highly recommended

We sold our home with the team in the Dorchester office, from the initial phone call to book a valuation to the final completion day they where always on hand to respond to any inquires from our purchasers, and acted with professionalism to ensure the sale completed in a normal time scales.
