Recent purchase, fault occured
I recently purchased a BMW 1 Series 25 plate from the Cardiff store. Unfortunately, 7 days after driving it away, I experienced an issue caused by an unsuccesful software update.
This was resolved thanks to Dan Parfitt, who was the only person willing to step in and help. He went out of his way to make sure my car was seen as soon as possible, rather than waiting the 3 weeks initially suggested by the workshop due to availability who came across like they really didnt care.
In terms of the BMW brand, I did expect more, particularly not to encounter an issue so soon after purchase, which took away some of the excitement of getting a new car. However, Dan’s service from start to finish was nothing short of excellent, and I truly appreciate his support.

Great experience from Sytner MINI Cardiff. I’ve been using them for all my service requirements since 2023 and they’ve been faultless in all my dealings with them. Chloe and Anne-Marie have always delivered great customer service with plenty of explanation on what work has been carried out and any that need doing.

Great service from Sytner BMW
We had great service from Sytner BMW when our Mini developed a fault. Our service coordinator Anne-Marie was brilliant. She was friendly and knowledgeable and kept us informed all the way through the fault diagnosis and rectification. The cost wasn't too bad either.

We had an excellent customer experience from start to finish, all the Cardiff dealership staff were professional, friendly and efficient. From the smooth handover to the servicing team to the hot drinks offered on our arrival. David Cheung we were very impressed with and we will most certainly deal with him when we return to the dealership for our next BMW. Communication with the Servicing team
Feedback and general communications from the Sytner servicing team was very good. I was kept up to date with progress on the vehicle repairs and at all times the servicing representative was very responsive.

Generally service is always good.
But on this occasion, I booked car to have a service the same time to have a recall done on the car
I booked it in with over 4 weeks notice
When we arrived we instantly told , no starter motor so that will have to be done again !
Why wasn’t it ordered when we booked it in or told they were out of stock , as the purpose of booking the service was for it to be done all at same time as getting to the garage and back is always difficult in busy times of the day.
Service was done, and was told you will be instructed soon as starter motor is in stock and apologised for the inconvenience
4 weeks passed , had no correspondence at all. So I phoned up as we are taking car on channel tunnel soon and recall letter stated don’t park car in confined spaces or public car parks
Lady on phone said , we have one here.
So unless I phoned we would have not known.
So much for being told soon as one comes in we we allocate it to your car and let you know
This definitely lets your customer service down.
From not telling us until we arrived there was no part available to not following up as promised.
But as said at start of review
Once car is there , service is generally good overall and car always spotless when collected
