Inconclusive diagnosis
I reported an issue with my car to the dealer I bought it from a few years ago. I mentioned that I didn’t have a lot of money to spend on fixing it. They advised me that it would cost £150 just for diagnosis.
Following the diagnosis I was told that a software update, costing £250 should resolve the issue. I asked them to confirm that it would fix the issue and they could not. They said it would cost another £1k if the software update did not work. I had already been given both of these numbers before taking the car in for diagnosis.
I paid for a diagnosis to get clarity on what it would cost to fix it. The outcome of the diagnosis was the same information I already had. I asked if the diagnosis fee could be deducted from the cost of fixing the issue if I decided to get it fixed with them, they said not.
The dealer did do a health check and clean the car when it was with them but this was not what I’d asked for especially as the car has just passed its MOT.
A disappointing experience. I do not feel any further forward having parted with £150. I also feel let down and not listened to as a customer given that I had highlighted that I did not have much money to spend on the issue.

Good customer service the only disappointment they could not finish the service,as on Saturday closed at 1Pm.did have to reabook to get it finish which is annoying.

New car purchase
The response time to my request was really quick from the sales rep Haymish. Was given a really good deal and was super quick to process. On the day of collecting the car, everything again quick and smooth with a really good guide on how to use and set up the tech.
