Smiles and reflections vs customer service?
Has anyone else ever bought a car from Sytner Group ? On the face of it a hugely impressive outfit. Shiny clean cars; only matched by the shinier white teeth their sales persons posses. On the face of it a great operation. Scratch underneath and oh dear. Buy a car; everything is rosy. But if it goes wrong. Uh oh! This is where you see a car company for what it really is. Do they care……. No. Of course they don’t; you’ve already bought the car. On to the next sale. I guess . The cars are immaculate. The sales person is superbly professional and in no way pushy… albeit they lack knowledge of the cars they are selling. But that’s all forgivable isn't it? Yes the car is a little over priced but it’s got a five year warranty and break down cover and a pretty little bag will be sent to protect your car? The bag never arrived by the way, despite being chased. THANK GOODNESS the warranty did because I have made use of that more than that sales team presumably make use of their Colgate subscriptions.
So; why the rant? It’s the lack of customer service that gets me the most - I’m a patient guy but I do expect at least acknowledgement from a company when I contact them; and to be clear my contact was calm and polite and to three separate people. Still nothing, hence…, this.
Of course, THIS, won’t do anything. It’s just words. They won’t say sorry; they won’t offer me some Compensation. I doubt they will even send me that pretty little bag they promised me last summer. They will just take advantage of the next person.

From start to finish Jordan & Hannah couldn’t of been any more welcoming and helpful, Both did separate things for me to find the perfect car, took me out on a test drive, explained everything very thoroughly, went through all options to getting a new car, I’m not very good with cars and technology although they helped me pick the perfect car and explained all the difference between the type of car I wanted, they never tried to oversell, they listened to me and what I had in mind, very friendly and professional people! I will definitely be back when I’m ready for a new car! I couldn’t be more grateful! Would highly recommend

Once bitten
I've had 2 cars from here, the first was a total lemon but they looked after me properly. Hence why I went back, amazing how looking after people brings repeat business. The second one an Audi A8 has been nothing but problems from about 2 weeks after I bought the car. It's been in 3 times and Sytner Select have completed work that they shouldn't have. Unbeknownst to them and their "master tech" the A8 has a "sealed for life" gearbox. These are only to be serviced is a diagnosis deems so, it's not a first stage repair on this car. They charged me £500 and my car still wasn't fixed. I gave in and took it to a main dealer as nobody else was happy to look at an A8 gearbox and they won't touch it as they haven't a clue why or what Sytner have done. I've been nothing but polite but now David Mullen is ignoring my emails. Buying a new car is only fun if you don't need to do it. I didn't rush the purchase, it took a month to find the car I wanted and I felt comfortable going back to Sytner group. Lesson learnt and be warned.

I did have a few problems with the car (sensors) after purchase, but they were all sorted with understanding, competence and a smile. Paige was particularly helpful, sorting the problems with the car and, among other things, getting my glasses from the courtesy car I left them in and bringing them to the desk, so I didn't have to. Not only competent but also cautious. Thank you.

I've a had the worst experience with…
Extremely Poor Service
I’ve had the worst experience with Sytner. I bought a car in November and was told all checks had been completed, including new wiper blades. When I got home to Leicester and properly checked the car, it was obvious the car hadn’t even been touched.
I called them to raise this and was told the part wasn’t available and that I’d have to rebook in January. I was also told it would take 1–2 hours and would include a new MOT. I arrived at 9am and, 9 hours later, the work still hasn’t been completed.
The whole experience has been frustrating, misleading, and a complete waste of time. Customer service is extremely poor. everything is “happy days” until you buy the car, and then you’re treated like you don’t matter.
I won’t be going back and would strongly advise decent, honest people to avoid using their services

I left my car for MOT and investigation regards coolant leek. Everything took around 2,5h. After all service I was send video with checking etc. Very professional. I needed to leave my car there for repair Emily the lady who helped me was very nice and kind. It’s my second car from there and not the last. Highly recommended

Sytner sales great place to buy
I found the sytner group a very relaxing non pressure environment in which to purchase a car. Normunds Allen and Jamie worked very well in a way of respecting my opinion and giving me time to decide on purchasing a car (a Toyota Corolla hatch) which was well within my budget and me and my wife were offered and given tea and coffee. It took k about a week for me to decide and was obviously not rushed into the deal. Many thanks to Allen and will definitely return when going to replace the car I bought.

They are scammers
They are scammers. They advertise a car and collect all sensitive data from customers. After 2-3 weeks they said car is not roadworthy, they are not wish to sell it. But they already sold it another person. Unlucky person bought the faulty car. He/She already taxed it.
