Hayden listened to my (fairly comprehensive list of) requirements and what I could compromise on. He searched and found me the perfect mini. All emails were replied to promptly. Once I'd chosen my new car Lucy handled everything smoothly and efficiently.

I feel the need to write this review to…
I feel the need to write this review to express how disappointed I am with level of customer care and loyalty I recently received. I have a BMW M4 with a faulty battery, now this is a very specific and expensive battery £939. Yes you read that correctly this £939 battery can only be purchased from BMW. So I bought it from Styner had it delivered so I could then take the car back to Styner for service.
During the drop off I explained what I had done, but my mistake I apparently didn’t specifically request encoding.
During pick up I questioned if my new battery had been encoded, yes you have to tell the car it has a new battery, thanks BMW for an additional cost of £54. “No you didn’t ask for it to be done” was the answer.
So I have paid £939 for the battery, £344 for my service during which time they had to go into the cars computer to tell it it’s had a service, And now they want another £54 and a new appointment.
Question:
Why no phone call to confirm?
Q: “Hello do you want us to encode your new battery?”
A: “Yes why would I not want it encoded”
Why didn’t they just encode as a gesture of good will?
Why didn’t they encode and charge me on pick up?
Any of the above, now I have to waste another day because of incompetence.
If I have the misfortune of needing work done in the future I will not be taking it to Sytner BMW.
Thanks for nothing.

Mini Tamworth saved the day
Our mini purchase might have been a nightmare due to an issue with mini computer systems .. however the staff at Tamworth were FAB and honestly saved the day. Thank you especially to Courtney who was just SO determined to fix it for us and was lovely too!! Day saved thanks to mini Tamworth!!

Posh showroom - Poor Service
Our older, reliable mini went in for a EGR cooler replacement. Sounds technical. Anyway, we had issues with leaking coolant days after the work in Tamworth. Initially we thought the coolant hadn’t been topped properly, so we filled it up and went on holiday. However once we got back the issue was much worse as our parked car had leaked over our drive.
Long and short of it. Our older mini was problem free - until we took it to Sytner Tamworth Mini.
Asked to speak to the manager Carl Rainbird numerous times and was told he was annual leave and essentially we’d left the problem too long before reporting it (3 weeks).
Overall handling of the issue at Tamworth Mini has been poor. That’s why I felt the need to review.

We understand your frustration and apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and we regret that we were not able to meet your expectations on this occasion.
