I had a guarantied buyer for my property, then the manager in TAG had a friend who wanted to buy it so they tried to do a bidding war. I was not prepared to play there game. A female sales advisor in TAG also was telling clients about my personal position, but when they told friends of mine when valuing their house, they informed me about it.
Do Not Trust Tag. There are plenty of good estate agents in Tewkesbury.
We thought we had sold our house with Tag as they found us a 'buyer'. We had a few houses to view, of which one would be suitable, but before we could visit the houses, the UK government put us into lockdown. On Wednesday 16th May, the government permitted longer journeys by car, so we drove a 200 mile round trip that day, to see one house in particular. We made an offer that was accepted.
On Saturday 16th, Tag (unbeknown to us) took our original buyer to look at another house, & 'our buyer' decided to buy that house instead of ours. Leaving us high & dry. We could have shown other buyers around our house before the lockdown, & put it on 'Right Move' during the lockdown.
At no point during the lockdown did we hear from Tag regarding the progression of our sale, until Monday 18th May, that our buyer was pulling out. We had no heads up whatsoever regarding Tag showing 'our buyer' another house.
This makes them the worst company I have dealt with in my life. Very unprofessional. Beware.
Tag have got to be the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to have to deal with.
My husband and I took a property rented through them in 2015 and from within a few months of taking the property to leaving in October this year we had so many problems, they are an extremely incompetent company who don’t reply to email or return phone calls, their staff do not communicate with each other so problems can be solved properly.
On more than one occasion Tag entered our property for inspection without giving us any notice, they also gave keys to a boiler company without our permission, so a total invasion of privacy, every time we had a problem it was put right at the cheapest cost and on several occasions would need doing again, We would never rent a property through Tag again and we would highly recommend anyone to think twice before using there services.
