Before Covid came along
Before COVID, I tutored all of my students in person. Then, almost overnight, everything changed, and I had to move my tutoring business online. Like many people, I started with Zoom because it was the only platform I knew.
Not long after that, I discovered Koala.
At the time, Koala was a brand-new company with a big vision. I love it when people try to make life better, so I decided to give this new platform a try. I'm so glad I did.
From the very first session, I was amazed. Koala was beautiful, clean, intuitive, and designed specifically for teachers and tutors—not just adapted from a meeting app. As someone in my 60s who doesn't consider herself especially tech-savvy, I found it surprisingly easy to learn and enjoyable to use.
What has impressed me even more over the years is the people behind Koala. Whenever I've had a question or needed help, someone has always been there. They genuinely listen to their users, welcome feedback, and continually improve the platform based on what teachers actually need.
It's obvious that the Koala team truly cares about the educators they serve. They haven't just built a tutoring platform—they've built a community that supports the people who use it.
After years of tutoring on Koala, I can honestly say I highly recommend it to any tutor looking for a reliable, thoughtfully designed, and teacher-friendly platform.
