Dreams come true dress


Dreams come true dress. Absolutely stunning in real life, and I couldn’t recommend Teuta Matoshi more. Im glad I followed up with an email after placing my custom order to ask what other measurements they need to make sure that the dress would not be too long on me. They promptly replied to ask for my waist-to-floor measurement, and I couldnt be more pleased with the results. The dress fits like a glove! That being said, if i could make any change, i would have given them just a tad bit larger measurements, instead of my exact measurements, bc the neckline is a little tight. But even with a tight neckline, you’d never know unless I told you. ;)

Really special custom sized gowns and great service

Really special, gorgeous, custom made dresses. Mine was even more gorgeous in person than in the photos online. For what you pay it is really great quality and I love how unique their designs are. I have a hard body type to dress and get sized for (large bust, small frame) and gave the custom measurements to them and the dress fits amazing. The timings for production were as expected, and they were responsive when I emailed them with questions a few weeks into making my order, and the shipping was smooth and there were no problems clearing customs despite post Brexit trade challenges (note if you ship to the UK there will be customs fees to pay which were about 200 GBP for me on a 700 GBP + dress). I knew this, and it was fine, and they do also warn you upon making your order.

Wonderful dresses

I have two dresses from Teuta Matoshi and they're both wonderful. Sometimes the pictures on their website do not even do them justice...
I always order costum size and it fits well. One dress was a bit too long and needed adjustments. I think because they assumed I'd wear long heals with it, they make the dresses a bit longer on purpose.
Make sure you order on time. Making the dress seems to take 1 - 3 months. The shipping is quite fast.
Costumer service is friendly and replied fast when I had questions

Amazing quality and custom made wedding dress

I love my dress more than anything ! I'm so thankful to the team at Teuta Matoshi for everything they did to make my experience ordering so easy. The dress I chose is the Cinderella Taffeta Gown.

I have always admired the brand, but never was able to justify ordering anything until it came to choosing my wedding dress. I am based in the UK and tried on a couple of regular bridal dresses but couldn't get one I'd seen on Teutas site out of my mind. I knew it would be a big risk ordering online from Kosovo, having never tried anything on from the brand, and not being able to return custom made orders. I decided to take to risk as I really wanted something unique and special for my wedding. I contacted Teuta to order a fabric swatch so I could be certain I liked the colour against my skin and that it was good quality. It was silk taffeta so I was satisfied! I paid $50 for the swatch.

I waited until Black Friday to place my order. I was in the process of losing weight so knew i wanted to give myself a bit more time before sending off my measurments, so asked if I could pay for the dress, then send my sizes a few months later, which they allowed me to do with no problem. When I was more of the size I wanted to be, I then went to a prefessional seamstress to get all my measurments done, which I would really reccomend as you don't want to get these wrong. Also wear shoes of a similar height you're planning on wearing with the dress as this can change your weight distribution.

I send my measurments off, and also asked if they could make a couple of changes to the dress, adapting the sleeves, and removing the leg slit. I had found a dress of a very similar fabric and style online to screenshot photos of what I meant with the sleeves and tried to show every angle. They confirmed they could make the changes at no extra cost. I chose to pay customs duties at checkout so i wouldn't be surprised with any additional costs.

They took 4 weeks from there to completely custom make my dress, and then it took 1 further week to be posted to me.

I was watching the delivery like a hawk! It took a few extra days in transit as UPS didn't find the commercial invoice, but when I contacted Jon at Teuta Matoshi he was quick in sending me all the documents I needed to get the shipment cleared.

The dress arrived safely, wrapped in tissue and with a fabric garment bag and a spare zip. The quality of the fabric is second to none, the dress has a large ballroom style skirt which is lined with netting to keep the shape and structure of the dress. The corset top is all boned and fits perfectly. The dress I ordered has a lace up corset back which is useful for sizing as I can adjust slightly myself, authough I can tell they have made the dress to my measurements as it fits perfectly. The only measument ignored was the length, which I was expecting as I had read from other reviews they keep it long so you can wear tall shoes. I am happy to get the hem at the front taken up by a seamstress, and I want to keep the back long to have a bit of a train.

Overall I am thrilled with the dress and my expereice was the brand was fantastic. I am so glad I took the risk as I now have a compltelty unique custom made silk wedding dress for a fraction of the price this would have cost at a wedding dress shop in London. I am over the moon and absolutely cannot wait to wear the dress on my wedding day!!

I love the design, construction, and quality of my dress! The team is producing quality work and made my perfect black wedding dress. I reached out to them for extra support and Jon was very responsive. The ordering process for a custom-measurements dress was smooth and I adore the end result!

Beautiful Dresses

Teuta Matoshi designs beautiful dresses. The dress that I custom ordered fit perfectly when I received it, so there was no tailoring needed on my end. They also answered back very promptly when I had a question regarding a piece of my dress. I ordered on black Friday and messaged the question that day, only for them to reply a few hours later.

The dress doesn't fit (they said I must…

The dress doesn't fit (they said I must have got the measurements wrong - I doubt it). It has cost me 400.00 to get it remade. Also, the tulle underneath isn't good quality. The dress looked absolutely ridiculous. I am picking it up from a dressmaker later this week. It also took at long time for them to make the dress, I had to email twice to ask what was going on.

That being said, all of our dresses are handmade from scratch. Our standard processing time is approximately 4 weeks, as clearly stated on our website. During promotional periods, processing times may extend to 8–12 weeks, which is also communicated at checkout prior to purchase. These timelines are normal given the level of craftsmanship involved in producing each piece.

Regarding sizing, all custom-size dresses are cut precisely according to the measurements submitted through our website. However, as our team is not physically present to take the measurements, there is always a slight possibility of discrepancies depending on how the measurements were taken, as techniques can vary from person to person.

We always aim to support our clients and typically offer exchanges and assistance even for custom orders when contacted directly. We truly wish we had the opportunity to help before further alterations were arranged.

Refusing refund, despite missing dress, insisting on replacement I don't want.

I bought a dress because everyone told me they paid no customs for the UK - horrified a £250 bill arrived! Then, worst of all, DHL did not listen to me and faked a signature (I was in Africa travelling), and the parcel then went missing/ stolen. DHL admitted their fault and said I should contact the company for a refund. Teuta Matoshi are now refusing to refund me, despite me having proof from DHL and no longer wanting the dress as the event has passed.

It feels like a scam because they're trying to use the situation to get a free £700 as they can claim a refund from DHL for the dress back, then send another to replace it, so yes, they send two dresses, but they get £1400 overall without bothering to make another sale.

Now I'm having to go through my bank to try get a chargeback instead!

We’re truly sorry for the frustration this situation has caused and understand how upsetting this experience has been.

To clarify a few important points already communicated directly to you: import duties and taxes are not charged, collected, or controlled by us. These fees are assessed and collected by DHL Express on behalf of the destination country’s customs authorities, and there is no mechanism for us to refund these government charges once a shipment has been imported.

Your order was a custom-sized, made-to-measure dress, which, as clearly stated in our return policy, is not eligible for cancellation or refund once production begins. Despite this, we made an exception in good faith and offered a free replacement dress, including expedited production, free shipping, and covering all import duties and taxes on the replacement shipment, purely as a courtesy to help resolve the issue.

Unfortunately, this solution was declined, even though it involved no additional cost to you.

We responded promptly throughout the process, remained in contact with DHL, and made every effort to assist and find a fair resolution. We are still happy to proceed with shipping a replacement dress should you choose to accept it.

We regret that this could not be resolved amicably and remain available to help within the limits of our policies.

Absolutely horrendous ! Do not but

Absolutely horrendous ! I spend around 800€ for a dress that has threads coming out of, itches everywhere, its so poorly made, the zipper gets caught in the tule and rips it apart. The undergarment of the dress is not sowed in the dress , its literally a cheap mesh skirt that you put under the dress! I sent my measurements, its loose on my breasts and all around my waist is loose and baggy.
its literally the worst dress i ever purchased!
On top of this, she never responds to any messages or emails! Do not order its a waste of money and you literally can’t wear it because thats how bad it scratches your skin!

Best Customer Service Experience EVER!

Ordered a dress for my wedding in January. I got nervous since I hadn't heard anything so I emailed and received a response in less than 24 hours. They were very responsive and friendly. Received my dress in March.

I came back in April to request a fabric sample so my groom could have a matching bow tie, and they returned my email in 12 hours. I even created an account on this website just so I could submit a review the experience blew me away so much!

AND THEN THE DRESS—literally, pictures do not do it justice. The quality of the beading, embroidery, and overall craftsmanship is INCREDIBLE! The custom sizing option was fantastic and gave me peace of mind.

I admit I was nervous to order a dress sight unseen, but it has worked out far better than I could have imagined. There are dupe dresses out there, but they are prints of these fabrics and not the embroidered and beaded versions. Great value for money!

A lot of delays

It has been over the 7 weeks they take for an order to arrive and It hasn't been shipped. I ordered a dress on the 19th of January and now it's the 11th of March. It is a normal size, not custom made. The website just says "awaiting fulfilment ". The last time the team answered my message was on the 3rd of March when they told me the dress would be shipped later that week. It didn't. I found the whole situation frustrating and kinda unprofessional.

EDIT:
I contacted the brand on their email. They're more likely to respond there compared to their website. Turns out there was " a small delay in production" that I was not informed about in any way. We kind of settled the issue and the dress will thankfully come on time for the event I ordered it for. They promised me free return shipping and full refund for the order if there were any issues.

EDIT 2:
I received the dress, it was beautiful and very high quality.
Over all they were understanding and managed to work out a solution. I still feel they can work on their communication with clients

MY DRESS IN NOT ARRIVING

i am so stresse because my son's wedding is in 9 days from today and I bought you a dress in your shop I chose the the 3-5 weeks delivery and nothing I have nothing not even a mail from your agent I still have nothing and I CAN'T CONTACT ANY OF YOU SERVICES nobody answer my multiples questions that I sent you a bad reviews because I have nothing for MY SON WEDDING and the deadline is too short to find an another dress in the time !!!!!

Refund Headache

I purchased 2 dresses totalling $1793 USD on 23/12/2022. The prices do not include import taxes and GST to Australia, which amounted to approx. $500 AUD. Due to delays in import tax documentations, I received my shipment 2 weeks after the estimated time. All is well until I open the parcel and inspect the goods. The quality was NOT worth the price I paid i.e craftsmanship, poor materials and machinery embellishments (not hand sewn).
The first dress 'Aurora Cape Gown' corset did not have any metal wiring in the bustier, so there was not much structure. The material, tulle, was very thin and had been heavily crinkled due to transit and being in a small box. The wrinkled could not be steamed or reverted back to a smooth texture (the crinkled material was throughout the dress).
The second dress 'Blue Starry Dress' had stars glued to the tulle fabric and again no underwire.

I decided to return the first dress due to the poor quality in the materials. The customer representative, Jon, had been fabulous up until the refund process.

They advised: "After further inspection by our team, we have determined that the dress you returned is not eligible for a return or exchange due to excessive wear and use. Regardless of the circumstances of how the dress arrived, it is still in a heavily used and worn condition which is not acceptable as per our return policy.

We understand that the shipment was delayed, the dress arrived late, and that the weather may not have been suitable for wearing it, but we are unable to process a return or exchange due to the condition in which it was returned."

I reiterated multiple times I did not wear the dress, it arrived in the condition it did due to the packaging and poor quality of materials. I had the shipment less than a week, it is summer in Australia and I did not intend to wear it this season due to it having 3 layers of fabric. Due to the design being extravagant and whimsical, there was no functions to attend. Still, they did not refund me. I've raised a paypal enquiry already.

This is a warning to people looking to purchase from them, hoping this is helpful. Summary:
* beware of import tax
* the quality may not seem as it is pictured
* they do not list the materials online
* refund process is horrendous

Update: Refund was processed after multiple exchanges of emails. I decided NOT to remove the review as I want to warn others that the quality is not what you expect and all the reviews on the website seem fishy.
