Customer service Very bad...🤮

I stayed there 2 nights last week. The hotel room is very clean and elegant. Bathroom is clean and nice with shampoo and lotion. Great restaurants. Good food in all restaurants. clean casino to play. good location. Easy parking and cheap to park. Affordable rate per night and early check is awesome. Indoor and outdoor pool are great.

Need to pay $ 13 to go to strip. otherwise 15 minutes walk. coffee maker is too small and cheap. expected a keurig machine. week days are dead in terms of dance floor. disappointed. Need to have party nights everyday until 12 midnight. All restaurant closes at 9 pm. If we need to drink and eat no place to go except one place bread and butter where there is long wait to have a coffee. Hope the management will take care of these issues to make it a perfect place for the guests to enjoy. If I was the manager in charge, I would have the most number of guests in this hotel in Atlantic city.

Customer service is terrible. for over a month I've been unable to play or withdraw funds from my account true no fault of my own. Customer service keeps giving me the same emails over and over again a ticket was created it will take two to five days been getting that email for over a month now. They really need to work on their customer service

Borgata is absolutely the WORST CASINO in Atlantic City. Ever since under new management, MGM, Borgata has lost everything from its charm, service and its customers. The slot machines now are really tight. Good luck trying to win any kind of money from their slot machines. Who wants to go to a casino where you already know ahead of time that you have no chance in hell to win?? The only machines in Borgata that gives you money are the ATMs. There's no winning in Borgata anymore. I used to win every weekend or every other weekend under the old owners like 7-8 years ago. Now Under MGM....I have 10-15 weeks of losing streak. That's why I don't even bring my own money anymore. If I go...I play the comps they give me and I leave. That place is disgusting. Not only you lose money....but you also lose happiness, dreams, hope, self respect, a good time, fun, and anything good about yourself. Borgata is a DUMP!!!!!

The only thing worst than the Borgata Slot machines are the management. Borgata employees are hard workers....but management are the worst. Rude. Unkind. Disrespectful. So...not only you lose money....but you get treated like SHeiT by the managers!!!!

Their buffet used to be great. But now it's the same food over and over and the service is lousy. They customer give aways used to be generous....now it's cheap. And it used to be numerous times of the year.....now it's like 2-3 out of the year.

The only decent things left are the rooms and the pool.

But everything else as a whole....Borgata REALLY SUCKS!!!

Unless Losing a ton of your money and not getting anything back at all, while being disrespected by the managers makes you happy....I honestly don't see a reason to go there at all.

The morale is down. The Customers complain about place. The workers/employees are being mistreated. They complain too. They just had a strike recently.

There are far better casinos to go to in Atlantic City. Borgata looks nice but your experience will be really bad.

It pains me to write this because Borgata USED TO BE a good casino under its previous owners. Now....It's the SHeicomplainTHOLE of Atlantic City.

If you don't believe anything I wrote....Just take a look at the growing number of parking spots in their parking lots on a Saturday.

The Casino recently got hacked. They had to pay $15 million to be released from the hackers.
Borgata paid it. Most of their computers are still in shambles,. I’d feel bad but they’re not nice to their patrons. Now Borgata knows how it feels to lose money and have no chance of getting any of it back….lol.

I ended up at this property based off of a MGMDirect to borgata offer and decided to book a deal to good to be true. To be fair, it was worth the getaway. This property has some beauty to it from the pool, to the layout. But, it is very well dated even with it’s not so long ago remodel (obvious one happened by the dated fixtures and other items not matching decor). Their staff is plentiful, helpful, and food options are somewhat vast (deserts everywhere). But the environment is dark, which is expected from a casino, but somehow depressing if that makes sense. This isn’t a “party” place. The atmosphere is clearly of a very older crowd base. From the mellow music that is slow beat, to the dark tones, lights, and carpeting. Even though there are more cons than pros here, i want to be fair. The property is a shuttle away from a great location. Let me rephrase, borgata isn’t in the best location. Once i ventured out to the Atlantic City strip, it was depressing coming back so far from the strip to the borgata. All the fun is out there, hard rock, ocean, etc. The borgata is big don’t get me wrong, but walking into the other resorts makes borgata look bad. I’m in my mid thirties, borgata wasn’t a mid thirty spot to kick back to. The energy was at and around the strip. Not only that, my 4 day stay, i frequent high limit, and that’s the only place where W2-G’s (jackpots) were given out. The table games were very slow pace with older staff. The restaurants weren’t as pricey as i thought they would be that was a plus. Shops and food court downstairs closed to early daily.

The room was a great size and came with all things needed. The internet was fast. The decor was calming and the mood was peaceful. Obvious remodel not to long ago was done which made for a contemporary feel i enjoyed. The phone in room and clock was dated and the furniture pieces and arrangement lack taste and style but fit. Large windows were frosted from fog on my arrival but when the mist settled, the skyline sang from a high note, just breathtaking.

Guest services were always courteous and prompt. Security was guarding access to elevators that took you up makes you feel secure. Pool access was with good hours and the sitting area outside by the pool is fabulous. Be sure to venture out to find the secret gems and shops.

Restaurants were plentiful. We ate at almost all. The Bagel/sandwich shop was the highlight of our trip. Japanese restaurant was great with good portions and pricing was awesome. Went to the American grill and it was not worth ordering as the menu was weird. The buffet was very disappointing. Went to Angeline, which was very busy, but it was not homemade nor authentic tasting. Hard to enjoy when the atmosphere is setting the stage for the food and it doesn’t happen. I must say these placess must had remodeled restaurants and the food was as good as the decor (whatever that means). Starbucks was Starbucks a go to.

All points and promotions were honored and given daily. Cashier lanes were single long as expected as normal tactic. One thing about borgata is the lack of a host. Their “host” don’t host. They do not take care of their spending guest like other properties and I’ll leave it at that.

Overall, i plan to revisit and learn from some of my lessons. I will venture out on day one and do so frequently. Borgata isn’t bad it just probably doesn’t get the other side of clientele like it other properties there gets so no need to cater to it.

I recommend to go. Don’t expect parties and a young crowd that’s celebration weddings and birthdays, this isn’t it. But give them a try if the price is comparable and cheaper, just bus or u er to the strip daily.

I'm a trans woman and I realize not everyone is cool with that, i'm sorry. I endure constant abuse from customers and staff. I have written the Borgata piles of emails and letters and they have never once responded to me. I dont recommend any LGBT people go to the Borgata, they do not treat LGBT people with respect or dignity and they 100% will not acknowledge your complaint or concern.

I booked 2 nights in their Hotel and when I returned to my room for the 2nd night, Borgata had put another individual into my room and they robbed me of all my personal belongs. I was shoved into a smelly smoking room that was not even fully cleaned for the night and guaranteed the return of my property.
I recieved ZERO and the SECURITY DEpartment refused to communicate with me. I was not even reimbursed the charges I paid on the room.
BORGATA has the lowest rating possible with the NJ Better Business Bureau for the long list of documented fraud and criminal actions committed by Hotel management. An investigation by the NJ Atty Generals Office resulted in confirmation of the theft caused by Borgata but MGM threatened me rather than the reimbursement I am legally owed for my stolen personal items.
