My mother has bad arthritis in her hands and the Sennheiser Set 860 is the best device for her to use the TV without assistance. Thanks for the great recommendation

I have struggled with tinnitus for 15+ years. Likely a consequence of decades of performing live music, foolishly giving no consideration to hearing protection during my invincible youth. What started as a slightly annoying ringing has now developed into something impacting my daily lifestyle. Throughout this period I have raised the issue with my doctor and with audiologists. I had been unable to properly describe what I experienced. The response has always been "come back if it gets worse"! Very frustrating!
I recently became aware of The Hearing Village and took in the materials regarding tinnitus. WHAT AN EYE OPENER! My condition was explained in clear, easily understood terms. Helpful coping strategies were presented. Most importantly, I now have a better understanding of what exactly is going on. I have the key words needed to finally explain to my audiologist what I am experiencing.

I recently got some hearing plugs done, and they have changed my day to day. Working on a construction site at the airport and it can be extremely loud. These plugs block out the loud noises but enable me to still answer phone calls and talk to people close by easily & are a comfortable fit too !!

The Hearing Village provided excellent advice and support when we were struggling to get a hearing test completed for our three year old. Thanks so much!
