I ordered Beats over-ear headphones at a reasonable price. Tried them on once they arrived (obviously there is currently no possibility of trying in-store) and they did not fit. Checked their return policy website (which features a picture of a laughing woman wearing Beats, along the tagline 'if you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’ll gladly exchange or refund your product').
As I had opened my box to try them on, I was told by customer service they weren't responsible, and to inquire directly with Apple (hotline provided on the Source return policy website) regarding returns. Apple pretty much laughed at me and told me there was nothing they could do for merchandise bought from third parties.
Overall, very disappointing shopping experience due to a shady return policy. Cannot recommend.
Worst shopping experience ever. They did not accept return even after being within policy days. Few minutes later I started getting instant messages on my cellphone from people who claim to know that I was there to return my item at the source store and were looking to buy the item from me at half price.
Not one but two people texted so far and this happened just last night. How did they even get the phone number?
It's not a safe place to buy items.
Please stay away from this store if you are not sure exactly what item needs to be purchased and might look to return.

Bought a laptop from them before Black Friday (as a gift for someone). Estimated Delivery date, December 2nd. Date passed. No feedback. Support says they are "backlogged" and don't know when the item will ship. The item shipped 1 week later after the date it was needed. Not even an apology email. Will never buy anything from them.
Purchased an electronic device from the Source. Took the payment twice. And now ask us to rectify it with the bank. What kind of business is that? I sent an email showing the payment debit twice from our account. Still no response. Will never order from them again.
Ordered over 2 weeks ago and it has yet to ship. They still have my estimated delivery date as over a week ago and it is still processing. When I asked about it they said they have a backlog due to black friday but that was half a month ago. I asked to change my ship to home to in store pickup as a store near me has the item and they said they can't do anything about it. If I didn't have a gift card I would have charged back by now.
Absolute garbage company with bad customer service. As a first time buyer, I'll never order from them again. My product never arrived despite them claiming it was shipped. Canada post confirmed they only created the label but never shipped it. Source did not take ownership of the missing item and refused to investigate further or refund. I was told to call Canada Post myself to deal with it. I will have to call my CC company to get my money back.
The Source is a good place to shop but they delay your order a lot. Their customer service is extremely rude. Emilie is so rude. Fire her. I was asking why my order was delaying and she just said "Oh it's you". Is that a way to treat customers? No. You're gonna lose customers that's what gonna happen.
Ordered an iPad Nov 26, they gave me a shipping date of Dec 3 which is completely fine. Dec 3 came and went, i did not recieve an email updating when the product would be shipped and still have not. Also, was not able to track after Dec 3 on their website, it would just redirect me to a different page. Poor communication, will not use the Source again.
I worked 15yrs for them when it was Radio Shack. The service was so better at that time. It was customer first. I orded online at the Black Friday sale and they said free delevery for Dec. 8. I told to myself, ok, i can wait 1 week. It's not very fast but was for christmas gift. We are december 10, not able to get any news of it, even with their "customer chat service", no date, no way to know if it was already shipped. They just don't care! The chat was soooooo slow, 30 min., 4 sentences...
My first and last time ordering online at La Source. I bought the same product somewhere else today! Will refound the "La source" one if I receive it.
Did not ship or notify me of delay of my order! I asked for a refund and they told me I couldn't get one! I would've been ok had they notified me about the wait but I was expecting this for a gift!

Contacting the source's chat agent is the most horrible experience I have had in my life. Any contact to them ends up in rude excuses. I contacted about returning a defective item and was told it is a FINAL-SALE. What joke. I would never buy there again, nor do I recommend to any of you to.

I ordered an iPad Pro 11, 2 days later I receive an email saying my order is placed on hold and to call them. I call customer service and the lady tells me I should cancel my order and pick it up from the store. I cancel my order and when I tried to pick up in store it says NOT IN STOCK
OK, fine. I make a new order online. 3 days later no shipment/order confirmation. I chat with someone online and right away he’s telling me I got a 2 week delay and he didn’t even review my info!
I chat with someone else and she tells me she has no idea what’s going on. I ask her to cancel my order and she said she can’t because it’s “processing” yet the first lady I spoke to did it so easily! The people have no idea what they are doing!!!
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THE SOURCE! UNRELIABLE, HORRIBLE customer service!!!

UPDATE: One week later STILL never received shipping confirmation of any kind & was supposed to be received today! their online customer service is an absolute DISGRACE. 10 minutes for ONE reply after waiting 20 min to speak to someone, they do not care about their customers! Buyers BEWARE!!
Ordered an item in stock. After a few days, they emailed saying the shipping date would be pushed out. Today is that new shipping date, no notice sent or update. Contact them, they have no clue when or if it will ship.
Update - After I cancelled, they send an email asking me to review the non existent item I ordered. Clearly a disorganized company.
Ipad advertised for sale throu end of next January. Placed order online and went to checkout: it adjusted my order to 0 because there was no stock; had a chat and was told to contact nearby store..called and got a "voicemail not setup" message, so assume it's closed; called another store and left a VM; back online to chat and told no inventory in system but to call 800 # for possible backorder: called and nope, and no more stock coming in
The staff at the Creston BC branch of The Source are awesome. I have purchased a few items in this store and have slways had excellent service. Dion and Curtis have always helped me with any questions or problems regarding my cell phone, faulty screen holders, and tv purchase. They never make me feel silly with all the questions i ask.
The manager Sara is also extremely helpful and I have complimented her on her staff. Thank you for making my shopping in your store a very positive experience.

Terrible experience at The Source in Cross Iron Mills (Calgary, Alberta) today - Tuesday, November 24, 2020. The staff did not honour the deal that was posted on the website. When I asked to speak with the manager the staff claimed to have spoken with the manager over the phone but the call took place in the back room so I don’t even know if the call took place. When I asked again to speak directly with the manager the staff would not make the phone call and would not give me the manager’s phone number. I do not understand why I was not permitted to speak to the manager myself to sort things out - as a consumer, I believe that items should be sold as advertised, not decided on a whim by the front-end staff. What a poorly run store with very arrogant and rude staff. I absolutely do not recommend shopping at this store.

Purchased my laptop from the Source, started having issues with the hinge recently. Figured since it was under warranty I might as well have it sent out. Staff told me two weeks and I was hesitant since I work from home for part of my income but figured I'd survive.
It's been three weeks, the staff has been unable to get any updates from the depot despite all their efforts, and I just spent 45 minutes on hold waiting to be helped by the Source's customer care- during which I sent a frustrated email to their General Inquiries- only to be called by the number I was attempting to reach in response to my complaint while literally still on hold with that number.
I have asked them to return my laptop unrepaired. I would rather pay to take my business elsewhere than be subjected to stonewalling and lack of communication about something I need to be able to pay my rent.
If I'd known it'd be like this, I would've bought my laptop somewhere else in the first place.
went online at the source and waited in que to buy ps5. a friend of mine went to the website while i was online and was able to purchase a ps5 without waiting in que. an hour later when my turn came in the que it said sold out. what the heck!!!! why waste peoples time in a que if theres nothing to get.

I want to get some iPads for my company and it takes 1.5 week for them to reply. Their customer care team and business team are not cooperating together. I am still in a process of waiting them do me a quotation even the sale has already ended. I do not recommend you use this company if you want some good and efficient service. I have called in their customer care for 2 times and have waited and talked to them for at least 2 hours in total but still did not get anything. Wasting my time.
I would like to thank Amir at The Source Upper Canada Newmarket for his wonderful service. I needed to purchase a new iPad and went to the Apple store where I had to line up to make an appointment and then return 2 hours later to get into the store. I had told the store what I wanted to purchase yet when I arrived for my appointment they were completely sold out (they couldn’t tell me that before) I then went to The Source where Amir greeted me as soon as I entered. They had the iPad in stock and in the colour I wanted. Amir took the time to transfer all my files to my new iPad and helped me choose wireless earbuds. A wonderful shopping experience. Don’t waste your time going to Apple - go straight to The Source and if shopping in Newmarket, ask for Amir! Thanks again Amir 👍
