So I had to call Microsoft themselves and talk to them gave them all my serial numbers to see if they match up and they don't. The control that comes with the game wasn't even registered they registered my used elite control they sold me cause that was it used as well. Both have extended warranty on them too. Tried to bring them in but they can't help me after they sold everything thing used, I don't know about the console it self I think was new I'll find out next time I talk to them. I asked better business to help try deal with this but they told them everything was fine so that's what I got told by both companies. But I got told different by the agent at microsoft.so now I have two bad controls. Think I have to buy a new one cause these warranties don't help.so they sell you used hard ware and tell you it's brand new but it's well used.
Worst customer service. While trying to process my order of $450.00 the sales person answered the phone twice tried to wait on 2 customers while dealing with my order. Two people working in the store and neither knew how to solve the problem . Not knowledgeable enough of procedure to be working without supervision. I ended up having to cancel my order completely.I will never do business with them again

I would give zero stars if I were able to. Purchased a television from them. It came and everything looked okay in the box. Took it out of the box and turned it on, and there's massive damage to the screen. Tried calling to have it dealt with, and was told that there was no damage on the box to match the damage on the screen. They said I must have damaged it. I had it for two hours at this point and I treated that thing with kid gloves the second it came into my house. They refused to replace or refund. I now have a $2700 paperweight sitting in my living room. Complete scammers and terrible customer service department. I will be escalating to small claims court. Save yourself the trouble of dealing with these con artists.
Update September 27:
As expected, the source posts a standard response to tow the line, refusing to fix their issue. Watch out for these scammers everyone, this is how their customer service department is. Avoid having to go through small claims court to get it dealt with like I now have to.

I recently took my Android phone into The Source with a question about how to set up WiFi calling. When I tried to set it up, I was only getting frustrated. A young salesperson by the name of Nikida (not sure of correct spelling) was amazing. With a smile on her face and pleasant attitude, she took my phone and tried a few things and within a short period of time had it all set up. Thank you

Amazfit GTR4 smartwatch was listed for$269.99($30 off). When I checked out they asked me to pay $299.99. Customer service is useless, they asked me to pay $299.99.

I ordered a digital gift card and after 4 business days I did not receive it so I had to call and wait on hold for 20 mins then I tried to unsubscrbe to their email and it keeps giving me an error. Remind me not to buy anything at the The Source.
as of Sept 19th I am still getting emails even though The Source said they "unsubscribed me" I can't even unsubscribe myself as it gives me an error and no I am not calling customer service just to wait on hold ahaha.

Went to the Source at Markville Mall to find a better package deal for my daughters cell phones. Gabisan went above and beyond to provide the best customer service and to provide us with the best deal! He was amazing to deal with. Very helpful.

Ordered a product online from The Source website. Next day received a box without the product inside. Contacted customer support and they concluded their investigation in one business day despite initially telling me it would take them 10 to 15 business days. No details as to their one business day investigation was given despite sending several emails asking for more information. I was expected to take them at their word and believe that nothing could have possibly gone wrong from the time it was packaged to the time of delivery despite me indicating an issue with the way the package was sealed. They refused to reship the product or give me a refund for a product that cost me over $300.

I have been shopping at the Source since it was called Radio Shack...that should tell you something. I have never had so many negative experiences as I have had with the Source in Waneta Plaza in Trail. I will actually drive all the way to Castlegar ( and have ! ) to buy something rather than enter this location. Twice in the past I have gone in with my son to purchase something that was on sale only to be told, sorry that's not that price anymore as they snatched the tag off the shelf. The second time the manager ( Lori I believe ) even went as far as to snicker at me behind my back as she had remembered it happening before.
Today, I went in for a laptop, only reason I did go in is because they are the only store that had one available. Low and behold, it's not. Says so online, but they don't have it in stock. How does that work?
Don't you have inventory control, or is theft that big in there now that people are stealing laptops from inside display cases.
Regardless. Once again. Disappointed and let down. I would rather keep driving to Castlegar or better yet. I'll just shop at Best Buy from now on.

The source is nothing but a fraud, I bought airpods from them and they told me I have 30 day return in store. They made me buy an extended warranty and after 1 week the airpods break and when i contact them about the issue they direct me to apple even though I was told I have 30 days return and or plus extended warranty.

This review is for the employee, not the store and other employees (as the rating would be different). Moshiur helped me determine which products would help me with an uncommon purchase. I needed headphones to connect to my tv as I am almost deaf and current tv doesn't have bluetooth. He recommended and explained why it would work. I have purchased from this store in the past and happened to have purchase from Moshiur. He is very knowledgeable and understanding. I got home and it works perfectly and I can use tv with volume much lower. Thanks!

I purchased a Acer Aspire 3 laptop in Dec 2022 at the Okotoks AB location. The first time I used it the "J" key popped out, I put in back in place and had more problems with it over the Christmas break. I called the Source in Okotoks before my 30 days and the person I talked to said they would talk with the manager and provide a replacement computer. They asked if I wanted black or silver, I didn't care. The person at the Source said there are more silver available and would have it delivered to the store 7-10 days. I waited the 10 days and then didn't here back from the Source. I called back on the Monday and asked about the replacement computer. The Source store manager said there was no record of the call and no replacement computer ordered. I asked for a refund and the manager said that it would have to go back to Acer for warranty. I said I am within my 30 days and wanted a refund. The manager asked for my phone records to confirm the call to the store prior. I said that is inappropriate and I would not, the sales person standing next to the manager kept asking inappropriate questions for me to explain myself, and said you should have brought it in the day the "key" popped off. In the -40c winter weather in Dec 2022. I said I am within my 30days and want my money back. The manager said he had the option to refund my computer but chose not to do so. I am left with a $452 laptop that is not working properly. I asked the Source manager for a company phone number to a corporate office or complaint office. He declined (is this not a consumer law) There is a complaint phone number for the Source but it is only for online orders. Store sales fall under the store. Help me here, no manager support, no customer support, no corporate support, how does a business function that is in retail with no customer support. I would say they are not the "SOURCE" to choose. Tried to shop local and very bad experience, reached out to BBB,

I would not recommend buying anything from the source especially a large T.V. It took a full month for me to receive it after receiving tracking numbers that were not even traceable because the item was never dropped off on 2 separate shipping notifications! When they finally shipped it, it took only 5 days to receive.. I set the 75” TV up as a Christmas gift for my son on Christmas Eve and it was broken.. his whole Christmas and mine ruined..I contacted the source and let them know and the customer service rep I was speaking to did Everything in their power to help, but in the end still took me another whole month to get refund.They sent me a $25 gift card for my trouble but kept my shipping fees and only refunded the TV. Although the customer service rep was very helpful the company has zero compassion for the customers they serve.. No wonder Amazon Is taking over the world!! I will never buy a big item from the source again....
