I purchased some Tile Pros online and had them picked up in Edmonton. The box was open and I didn’t think much of it as the Tiles were still there. I didn’t try to activate them until more than 3 months later and I couldn’t as they were already used. I tried online chat and called the store and no one was helpful or even tried to listen. They shouldn’t accept back an open box! I called Customer Service and just wanted someone to listen. Jen did! And offered me a little something. I didn’t get the full cost but that’s not the point…someone cared and listened and hopefully the stores will be better educated to not accept open box products like this back. I learned something too. Sharing this so people are aware.

DO NOT BUY FROM LA SOURCE
I have purchased airpods from their website, the order seemed to have gone through, the payment went through but I did not receive an order confirmation by email so I contacted customer service right away.
They told me they did not have any recent orders under my name or for this item. The person I chatted with, Edgar, told me it happened sometimes and that I should have my money back between 3-5 days.... So it looks to me like La Source has some cash flow issues, because they captured my payment without having ANY pending orders in their system. This look very illegal to me and a total waste of time for me and an extra 200$+ on my credit card for a period of time.
Not trustworthy.

Do not buy from the source online store.
I purchased an apple watch and paid through a guest account. The initial ETA was around 3-4 days after you paid your product, the new ETA is at 10 days! I send in a cancellation request within 30 minutes of their policy time.
At this point; I have not received my confirmation email, nor my purchase history was shown in my account.
Fast forward next day, I called the source, the agent who picked up was unable to solve my problem as she can see there was a cancellation note, but had no idea why the product was still being processed. I requested to speak to the manager, Douglas whom I expect to provide a solution.
I made my purchase and canceled within the time frame and the order was still processed. Douglas who was the manager was rude. Was not very understanding from the customer's perspective. Sometimes all we want is a solution, not your apology. If your system is screwed up, it's not the customer's fault! I followed their process, followed their procedures. And here I am getting screwed by The Source.

I have consistently excellent customer service from the Cochrane branch in Alberta. They are always helpful and give the best advice.
I once had to wait a while for a new mobile contract to be set up and they gave me a $50 gift card for waiting patiently (was over an hour).

I would like to give a huge shout out to The Strathmore Alberta store employees. Devon who was simply marvelous, understanding to what I needed to the additional information that he gave me on my cell phone inquiry. So much so that my husband and I went back to purchase new phones and watches. The other employees that need to get a shout out are Tanner, Steph & Parker who were also so knowledgable of the store products. We discussed phones & computers as well, thank you again Devon and the rest of the crew. Thats what I call great Customer Service!!

I would like to give a staff member of the Moncton N B store #05-5625 whose name is Chad as a special thank you. He made the effort to help me n the other 2 stood there 1 said what you want is over there on the left n Chad walked up to me and made the effort to physically help me. I will be back I live in Fredericton N B our store is closed but I will be going back to Moncton shopping n if Chad is there I will make a purchase but if he isn't I wont be making a purchase. I hope Chad is giving some sort of thank you for HIS extra effort in helping. By the way the other 2 employees could take away from some of his customer service attitude. Le 9 Septembre je fais une commande de jeu vidéo pour sa console switch pour mon fils de 4 ans, tout se passe bien je paie sans souci .Je sélectionne le magasin qui a les produits en stock, et appelle le magasin en question le vendeur me confirme avoir les produits dans les mains.
Je reçois un mail me disant que "ma commande a été annulée pour indisponibilité des produits".
J'appelle le magasin qui me confirme qu'ils sont bien disponible.
Ensuite j'appelle le service client qui me sort tout un tas de chose illogique : " coordonnées bancaire mauvaises " "Que c'est ma banque qui a annulé le paiement " Etc...
Bien sur tout ceci vérifier par mes soins auprès de ma banque qui eux-mêmes sont étonnés de leurs pratique en se posant des questions .
Leurs service client n'a aucune réponse a nous apporter que ce soit par chat ou par téléphone.
En vérité entre le magasin et le site web thesource.ca il n'y a aucune communication plusieurs vendeurs me l'ont dit ils ont aucun contact professionnel avec le site en ligne.
Quel honte a éviter

In store, elderly parent bought second Bell cell phone, two years after buying the first there. The Source rep failed to put the new SIM card in one of the phones to be used for emergencies by someone with very limited mobility. So elderly parents paid 600$+ over almost two years in cell phone bills but phone never worked without SIM card. On the phone, Bell wouldn't help as the SIM had been registered by The Source. The customer didn't know it was missing until they finally switched carriers and new company found empty SIM tray, under a case that had never been removed by the customer. Big disappointment and waste of money for elderly, disabled customer. And lucky they didn't have an emergency in that time.
Update: I received a prompt reply and another email from store manager, and will be having a phone conversation.

I looked up a printer on their website, checked that the nearest Source outlet had it in stock and drove 40 minutes to purchase it. In the store waited and waited while two salespeople tried to find the model; finally was told by them that it was only available on-line and also that it was out of stock. Drove back without printer. Next day called the Source central customer service and got a very UN-helpful person on the phone who told me (with tons of attitude) that it WAS available in the store and that there were two in stock. Made no attempt to make things right. Said she would have to speak to their sales reps to "get their side of the story". Honestly, worst customer service ever.

Do not order from here. I ordered a TV from here online, 8 days later it hasn't shipped. Customer service is useless they have zero information and they will not let me cancel cause they say its in process they are trying to pass the buck onto the carriers even though it hasnt shipped. This has been one of the worst experiences.

I purchased a TV on sale for my boyfriends birthday. Good deal. Put in the order online. Gonna pick it up at a location near me in about a week. Just a regular transaction. No big deal. WRONG
I get an email. A couple days before saying that my order has been successfully cancelled. I didn't cancel it.
So I take the time out of my day to call and get it sorted out with a customer representative over the phone. We do the entire transaction again online. All paid for everythings fine. Etc etc. Kk. All good.
NOPE.. Another email a day before its supposed to be here. CANCELLED... AGAIN.
I'm honestly stunned at the incompetence this company has to put a simple transaction through and sent it to one of their own locations. A nearly impossible task apparently.
I call the help centre again. Where this mean condescending woman named Jacquelin starts making this entire situation my fault. It's my credit card. I gave the wrong address... Even though it was supposed to be for pickup at a location. My phone number isn't the one on file. And it's my financial institution and prettymuch does nothing other than make me very confused and upset.
I called my bank to make sure everything was fine on my end. No problems.
Honestly the only reason I followed through with this transaction was because the TV was a good deal.
But by this point I'm expecting it to explode the moment I get it (if they don't randomly cancel it first) and refuse a refund lol.
A team of monkeys could run customer relations and problem solving at the Source better.

While looking for a Fitbit Sense, noticed The Source had one for $219.99, everywhere else was $239.99. I planned to go there the next day, during this time The Source actually INCREASED the sale price.
Update: customer service did their best to rectify the price issue for me.

The worse place to buy from. A friend bought a laptop from them which lasted two days. Bitlock locked her out. the source blamed her for it however exchanged it. the secod was set up by the source which they got her to set a reovery code. The code was not accepted when the laptop crashed. the source said it needed windows reinstalled. Off she went to do so only the laptop wouldn't accept the windows boot. He thought it was the harddrive which the source said she had dropped it. I don't think so. She finally got a hold of the company who at almost $50 is sending her a USB to fix the laptop. Staff at the source said they have problems with warranties on cellphones as well.

terrible service. bought beats headphone and when i tried to return due to them being to big for my head i was told no and i should have tried on in store first. they refuse to refund or exchange for different products because it is open and unclean but wanted me to try on the demo product which is also unclean. custom service rep yelled at me on the phone and was very rude. never shopping at the source again. absolutely terrible store and workers.

Don't spend your money on this lousy business. They promised me 3 days delivery and it ended up a week later. Their customer service basically dead inside, they can't help you at all. STAY AWAY FROM THE SOURCE (a perfect horror movie title too!).
