Excellent service

Staff went above and beyond to help us out after our phone charger was left behind in wildfire evacuation. Very much appreciated the kindness of the store rep in helping to get us set up. Thank you!!

I recommend Nirish Arora who works at…

I recommend Nirish Arora who works at The Source at Eaton Center. Nirish went about and beyond to ensure my dad's tv needs and my budget are aligned. He even provided us with his phone number to follow up.
This is no so much about the store but about the individual working there. Welcoming from the start and following on the service. Great job Nirish!

False advertising and Lies

Purchased a laptop from the source- they indicated it would ship at a specific time and it says on the website that they don't process payment until item is shipped. It's been a week since that date and they told me "we have nothing in stock and have no idea when we will get more in stock"...they said it could take weeks and yet they billed my account for the full amount before shipping or even haven't possession of the product.

I'm sorry but that's theft and false advertising- you usually place a authorization on the account but no receive the funds until item is shipped yet they fully billed me for a lap top that could arrive months from now when it was advertised as available and in stock.

Customer service is absolutely horrible and all they say is “you can cancel we have no other answers for you”

The Source on Lassale in Sudbury are great people

The Source on Lassale in Sudbury are awesome! Great service and helpful. I lost my cellphone couple days ago at work and they had me up and running with a new one the next day. They are polite, very pleasant people! I’m not sure if I should mention names, I only remember one name. I think she was a manager “Karen”. I was served and left happy. I highly recommend shopping there!

I would NOT recommend ever shopping with this company. I ordered a game card and 12 hrs later received an auto-cancel notification email with a number to contact to find out why. called and they were unable to tell me why. my cc has never given me trouble with online shopping before and now I a have 5-7 business days wait for a refund.

West Edmonton Mall the source had the best service we had. We bought a new phone and Sagar and Jay had a great customer service that really helped us a lot. They have a really good communicating skills that would get your attention to really rely on them. Had the best customer service!!

Awful customer service- Spare yourself the trouble

Honestly, I never write reviews but after 4 calls with their customer service, I am so frustrated to the point that I don't want others to have the same experience. Save yourself the trouble of online ordering because the customer service is TERRIBLE. They are unhelpful and unempathetic to your issues, they simply follow a script. You're better off with BestBuy, Amazon, or literally anywhere else.

Bought voucher and new line

I went to get a new phone line at the source on Saturday Capilano mall. The customer service was exceptional! Jeremy or Jeffrey was very professional. However I urge the source to reduce the time span of paperwork done for buying a new line.

The Source 50150 e-commerce head office is helping criminals steal by allowing fraudulent purchases from other people's credit cards without finding out if it's actually the owner of the card making the purchase. In a time of Covid when thieves are out in full force, a company like the source should be doing a much better job in protecting their customers but they would rather make the sale, do better, you should be ashamed. Maybe it's time to make a change and hire new at this location, people are rude and don't deserve the employment.

I ordered something to come to the store, it was delayed! The worker couldn’t even explain anything and didn’t even bother to check out my order until i got really mad and asked him for the 100 time to check my order. Never seen such bad service!

Giving it a 1 star only because I can't give 0 or a negative score. Ordered a product online, they confirmed, deducted money, only to cancel it after a few days without giving any reason. This happened multiple times. Customer service is pathetic. I called them multiple times on the same problem, got different answers from different agents. They just lie to get around. Just pathetic!

Bought an extended warranty for my gaming headset, headset breaks in 6 months, told me my warranty doesn’t work until after a year, go deal with the manufacturer, manufacturer says it’s wear and tear they can’t do anything as it was cheaply made in China, have to wait 6 more months to use my warranty, out a headset, recommend people don’t buy from this place.

Why is a digital code not instant!?

Tried to purchase a digital Nintendo Switch code through them online. They took my money just fine but didn't deliver the code right away. Makes little sense to me given that it's a digital code, but it does say on their website that it could take up to 24 hours to process. Bizarre, so I get on their e-help and complain that I would have just visited a store to buy a card if I knew it wasn't going to arrive right away. The help person kindly offers me a refund, I accept, he tries to process, and then tells me it can't be refunded because it was already processed. Fast-forward 26 hours and I still don't have the code. I tried to get on e-help today, and despite it being during their hours of availability, I'm told after a minute that no help is available at this time. They should have just kept the name "Radio Shack".
