The Talbot Hotel Opiniones 

I cannot rate the facilities because my experience happened before I got there. I booked a room using my card at 10am, when I got the confirmation the check-in time was 4pm (too late for me). When I called to cancel, I was told that they would charge me for full day as a penalty. I told the receptionist that this is not fair, could they move my stay to a different day. She was rude and refused, thankfully I had moved money to my other account, because as we were on the phone she charged my account 3 times for €152 €75 and €50. I believe this was illegal. I plan to report the hotel to the oversight body for this. Plus she told me she would blacklist my name. Just an absolutely horrendous experience.

Was in the Talbot hotel Wexford yesterday had a meal in the bar. The experience was fantastic. The food was wonderful and the staff were fabulous from making us welcome and their service was exceptional. Would definitely recommend to anyone who would visit. I certainly would go back.

Just back from a lovely few days at the Talbot hotel Carlow . From the moment we checked in we were made feel so welcome. The bedroom was newly painted and was spotless. The staff at breakfast and dinner made us feel so welcome and always went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food was delicious 😋. Big thanks to the ladies who done our bedroom who always gave me extra milk for my coffee in the morning as I like milky coffee . It’s little things like this that make the Talbot Hotel in Carlow special. See you next time ❤️

had my stay in Talbot hotel this week itself when was coming from Wicklow, the staff was friendly enough and the room was also near perfect. good job team Talbot!

A gem on my doorstep! Last minute Valentines. Comfortable, warm and very welcoming. Food out of this world and reasonable prices. Something for all, history, hiking, art and photography galore. Local shops and bus route to coast and train at Aberystwyth or Carmarthen! Tracey and team a fount of knowledge and very friendly! Treat yourselves, you are worth it!!❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

We , a group of 30 people, just spend two nights in the hotel .We dined in the bar on one night & restaurant the second night . Food was amazing & staff very friendly, helpful & professional . Value over all was very good & love to return again. Would strongly recommend this hotel.

What a gem of a place with the heart of its soul being the staff. The hotel speaks for its self with the most beautiful touches.The food is delicious to the point you over eat. You must stay here, I’m asking for a job because the Talbot team are truly amazing 💙🙏💙

I requested a room with full harbour views and was given exactly that. Room 333. Absolutely perfect! It really made my stay a perfect one and it was very much appreciated because of my personal reasons for the visit. Having stayed in the hotel previously, I knew my way around the extensive breakfast buffet and knew to ask for beans as soon as I arrived for breakfast as they don't have them out on the buffet? We had numerous meals and drinks in the Ballast Bar and everything was delicious and the atmosphere and surroundings are all very lovely. All of the staff are approachable and friendly and I hope to visit again soon.

We had a lovely, spacious clean room. Set menu evening meals were of high quality. The staff ( especially Mary ) were so helpful and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here , could not fault this hotel. Added bonus of gym and swimming pool.

We had the Sunday Lunch, the food was excellent and not at all expensive, service was good and cheerful, and the atmosphere was relaxed but still had enough formality to make it an event, the dining room had families, children are welcome, I would certainly recommend the Sunday Roast.

From check in on reception with Katie. Brian, Monica and Gary in the bar and restaurant everything on both nights was a 5 star service. Attention to detail from the rooms to food and drink was exceptional. If you are travelling to Belmullet this is a must stop.

Friendly helpful staff who couldn't do enough to help along with fabulous local food and delightful quirky rooms made foe a really enjoyable stay and I will definitely be back.
