I have still not received my item
I found an apparatus which prevents spilling drinks. I purchased this for my Mother and also paid the delivery fee (24-48 hour DPD delivery). The money has cleared from my account I received email confirming my order at same time. I had a further email the following day to confirm order had been dispatched. However, I am yet to receive my item or even receive a reply to my enquiries in reference to it’s whereabouts. In addition, the telephone number on their website does not work. I have called DPD to see if they have my item, as they have always been reliable and great with communicating, so presumably, as I have not been contacted by DPD, they are not in possession of my item. Due to the absence of my item and lack of communication, I can only presume, I will not receive my item. I hope, I can either have my item delivered or receive a refund. Nevertheless, I am disappointed and cannot recommend purchasing from this company.

I'm so sorry you feel like this. Our customer service team is working really hard at the moment, having to work from home amongst kids, thankfully for not much longer, but this means we are not taking calls at the moment. I can see on our system that it was the regular P&P you paid for but perhaps I may have missed something. If you could email us your order number I will be able to look into this more.
I am extremely sorry we have missed emails this is something we are looking into as there may be some technical issues here.
Unfortunately from having to work at home, things are going a lot slower than usual and then not helped with the postal service being also incredibly stretched. We are experiencing delays and sometimes collection doesn't appear when they say they will, usually due to covid.
But be rest assured your item is on its way and should be with you on Monday.

Found clock I wished to purchase. Completed purchase and paid delivery fee, (24-48 hour Dpd delivery) also. Money cleared from my account immediately and received email from UGC confirming order at same time. Had further email from UGC the following day to confirm order had been dispatched. So far, so good and all well.
However, I am yet to receive the item and more worryingly, yet to receive a reply to my enquiries and email about it’s whereabouts. Phone number not answered either. ( Dpd have always been reliable and great with their communication in all my previous experience with them, so presumably, since I have not been contacted by them, I deduce that they are not in possession of my item).
I would dearly love to give a five star star review to UGC, but in the absence of my paid for item and lack of communication from them, I am concerned that I have been duped. With any luck, perhaps some communication/delivery of item or refund will be forthcoming soon and I might then be able to review this review. Disappointed in the meantime, and cannot currently recommend.

I'm so sorry you feel like this. Our customer service team is working really hard at the moment, having to work from home amongst kids. They have been contacting you via email but sometimes these go to junk but we have also been made aware that sometimes they don't go through, incredibly frustrating for everyone.
The postal service is incredible stretched at the moment seems to be experience delays and sometimes collection doesn't appear when they say they will, usually due to covid. But be rest assured your item is on its way and should be with you tomorrow.
Sorry you feel we have fallen short and we will always endeavour to learn and do better

A very unusual attitude
Ordered one type of butter dish and received another kind. Emailed a query straightaway and yet to receive a reply. I think - any way you look at it - that's worth a one star at best.

Rubbish customer service, still waiting a response
The goods received were a different colour to that on the website, have rang numerous times and email, but have had no response, so still waiting to return an item and get refund.

Great experience with this company
Amazing experience with this Company. Belinda was a star. I bought a clock for a friend as a Christmas gift. He wanted a different clock to the one I purchased. I contacted the company. They swiftly replaced it with the one my friend wanted. Definitely recommend them.

Thank you for your review Andrew. We have no evidence of emails from you unfortunately. Our email systems have been unreliable over the last 2 weeks so it may be that it didn't reach us. We have however sent you emails to advise you of the delay with your order which I can only assume did also not reach you. Also please forgive our phone lines not being manned at the moment. This is due to logistical issues during this difficult time. We are a small family-run business so we don't have quite the same access to contingency plans as some of our well know Multi-million pound counterparts.
The product that you ordered is drop-shipped from our supplier in the Netherlands. They have had trouble shipping their items to retailers in the UK due to Brexit and Covid restrictions, which is having a knock-on effect on our ability to fulfil some of orders. One of our emails to you stated that we expect the clocks to be available at beginning of next week, but as you have not received this we can fully understand your frustration.
We have refunded your order in full and assure you that we are definitely not fraudulent as is evident by the vast majority of our other reviews. We are a small UK based company who are trying our very best to carry on in what is a difficult situation for all UK SME's.
We are very sorry that your order was not fulfilled. If you would still like to receive the clock and are willing to wait a little longer, then we shall gladly dispatch as soon it is possible. Thanks again for your review, as even the negative feedback helps us to improve our systems, and we will concentrate our efforts on our email immediately.

Love my new clock though, arrived perfectly packaged, in good time despite ordering over Christmas/brexit/Covid! And the price is fantastic compared to other sites. Thank you

Excellent service & products!
I was able to find exactly what I was looking for (which I could not find elsewhere-not even on Amazon)!! The shipping time noted up to 9 days to US but my delivery was 10 days -- which was totally understandable due to just having had a Northeaster snow storm. It arrived on the exact day that I needed it by at the latest. I contacted company & immediately received response on day 9 with an apology and reassurances that it was on its way.
