Been a member of The Voicerealm for many years and have got many jobs through the site which has an easy to navigate system for auditions and I'm guessing, castings! Support is excellent. Simply put, they are reliable, helpful, polite and supportive. Top site! : )

I had a bad experience with some of the support people many years back, but in the last few years the support and customer service has improved dramatically. Audrey and Sarah (I think?) always get back to me quickly and are helpful and friendly.
As with many other voice actors, I'd be happier if their set rates were closer to industry standards, but rates are clearly communicated upfront and publically available, so we know what we're getting. :)
Generally, I appreciate the regular work and have built some great working relationships with repeat clients.

Audrey is always on the ball with handling queries or client relations.

As a pro. VO, I first tried this plateform, with a little bit scepticism but, if found they were pros and clear.

It was always questionable about the pricing.. but when you look over the pricing that the freelance businesses are now being forced to use for budgets it is no wonder. Sites like fiverr and upwork are a thing of the past...especially for the poor quality.. For a fair price and minimal fuss, THE VOICE REALM should be everyone's new Voice Over SITE! Every time I contact The VoiceRealm via their live chat I get an immediate response. They are always incredibly helpful and courteous in all their correspondence. And I ALWAYS get a solution to whatever problem I am having difficulty with at the time. Overall the way the platform is set up gives me a real sense of security knowing that I am in good hands.

I have been a member of Voice Realm for some years, I have had a lot of work through them and have been very happy with the service they offer. The rates are set which has its advantages and disadvantages, and they do tend to be a little low for longer projects, but the system works well overall and, above all I really appreciate the speedy and helpful customer service they offer - regardless of time zones, they respond almost immediately, and any issues are quickly and pleasantly resolved. This is unusual in comparison with other, larger VO sites and is why I have given them 5 stars and will keep coming back to them.

BEST customer service (thank you Audrey!!). So FAST (her response was instantaneous!) and sooooo nice and helpful. I had an issue on Bodalgo yesterday and in comparison, very very RUDE, dismissive and curt!! FIVE STARS for VOICE REALM in Customer Service tonight. And the problem was resolved! yay!!

Update December 23, 2020
First of all, BODALGO never did send me a refund because I wouldn’t alter my review of his business.
And just today, the owner of BODALGO sent 8 (!!) harassing emails, accusing me of getting my “ex-boyfriend or husband” to write a negative review. This is completely false. And VERY out of line to attack a customer this way, for expressing my experience as we customers are allowed to do. I read reviews for businesses all the time and I take special care to listen to the negative ones and see how the business responds to that person. That indicates to me what kind of a person leads the business.

So me enlisting friends to write false reviews would have been a genius idea - wish I HAD thought of it!!!!

So since I’m already being accused of doing this and he won’t believe me, feel free to read my review of BODALGO, especially if you are entertaining the thought of joining a P2P site. And if you have had a negative experience with BODALGO, consider rating and reviewing, so you don’t financially support a business with a leader who harasses and bullies a female customer.

UPDATE DECEMBER 14, 2020

Today I received an email from the head of BODALGO informing me that he is issuing a refund for the remaining 2 months and 1 week of my membership (which I did not ask for), which was promptly followed by a CANCELLATION email of my membership (which I also did not ask for). I was advised as well that I have been DELETED from their website and this confusing childish behaviour became clear in the last email from Mr. Bodalgo, when I realized he had read my Trustpilot review of Voice Realm.

"PS: Oh, I almost forgot:
I would advise you set your story with trustpilot right. Otherwise we would have to publish the email conversation, so people get the full story. I am sure you would agree that is just fair, right?"

-- Hmmm. Set my story “right”… or else?? That sounds like a threat and an assumption that I had no true basis for my comment on Trustpilot on December 6th. I expressed my OPINION on how I perceived my interaction with BODALGO when I wrote an email expressing my dissatisfaction with clients not listening to auditions and asked for "auto-renewal" to be taken off my account.

The biggest issue, after being deleted and now bullied, is being treated as disposable. Actors ARE your clients. Bodalgo is waaaaay oversubscribed. There are close to 350 people auditioning for one job, regularly. So I would STAY AWAY from BODALGO!!! And in response to his threat, I stand by my comment above - RUDE, DISMISSIVE and CURT. Perhaps I will add a few more words - PATRONIZING, UNAPPRECIATIVE, HOSTILE.
And to Mr. Bodalgo, because no doubt you will read this addendum, you don't have to "publish the email conversation" to show your glowing innocence. I'll do it.

My first email:
“Hello there,
I am not sure that I’ll be renewing my BODALGO account. In comparison with other PTP services, I find that the clients of BODALGO don’t listen to auditions.
For example, for the past two weeks, NONE of my auditions were listened to!!
I think I will try another site if this doesn’t improve before my membership here ends.
I’ve booked three things with another site within two months of joining and haven’t landed a job on your site in over a year.
To that point, can you tell me how to take off the AUTO-BILL on my account??
I want to be in control of this decision.

The response: “Hello Shauna,
Your premium membership has been canceled and will turn into a free membership on February 22, 2021 (you will be able to audition until that date, of course). “

My response to this: “Thanks for the personal response to my email. Sheesh!!!”

His reply:” I do not understand. Didn't you ask to have the automatic payment to be stopped?”

My response:
“I had sent a note about clients not opening auditions.
There was no comment on that. No advice offered. Not much care about what I wrote.
Just a generic message w payment options changed.
It’s just not the kind of response I would expect after having been a member of your service for a couple of years. So thanks.”

His reply was reminding me that perhaps I had forgotten it was late in Germany…and that he was intending to get back to me after the weekend.

I did not reply to this email, as it was made clear that I was disturbing him on a Friday afternoon, 5pm EST.

Hi...just a note to thank you for sending the talent fee for the jobs I did......PayPal is holding the funds for 21 days to make sure the transaction is legit, and charging me a $12.99 'transaction fee'.
I enjoy working with you, your staff has been very kind and helpful...I've learned a lot , and appreciate you.
I REALLY WISH YOU HAD ANOTHER WAY TO PAY THE TALENT FEES. PayPal is INCREDIBLY hard to communicate with, VERY disrespectful, and vulnerable to hackers and thieves..

Exploitative platform that offers zero protection for artists. Jobs at short notice which pay peanuts, after commission. Not worth it. Unethical shoddy practise.

I had a last minute urgent job to film and edit, and with the Covid restrictions I didn't know what to do until I discovered this amazing platform. The virtual assistant, both Maureen and Jessica were absolutely helpful, patient and explained everything to me and even sent me screen shots so I know exactly what I needed to do in regards to usage and booking the Voice Actor. Having a virtual chat is what made this service extra easy and amazing to use.

Tiffany was fantastic, speedy and professional. Her reading was what the client wanted so thank you for completely the job within the specified 4 hour turn around time.

I wouldn't have been able to turn around two videos, under the Covid restrictions, if it wasn't for this service. Thank you very much and I will definitely be coming back.

I have been using The Voice Realm for almost a year and a half now. From my experience so far, I can say that the jobs posted on this platform are always top notch and so are the people who post them.

One of the huge advantages of using TVR, in my humble opinion, is that you know your audition will not be tossed into an endless sea of entries because it will most likely be listened to by the prospective client. If you’ve been doing this long enough, you probably know how frustrating it is to put your heart and soul into an audition because you think you’re a great fit for the job only to perpetually watch it sitting in the entry queue and never get listened to.

Fees for all of the jobs I’ve either auditioned for or landed through The Voice Realm are competitive. Sure, you won’t get the same amount of compensation you would get if you had landed the job via your own facilities but keep in mind that The Voice Realm is a business and, as any business, needs to charge a commission in order to cover its operating costs and maintain profitability. When you are given the ability to connect with quality clients from all over the world like you are given on this platform, it’s definitely worth it. You can also think of it as an indirect marketing expense for having your name promoted to clients you wouldn’t have been able to reach otherwise.

The Voice Realm’s customer service is also worthy of special note. Courteous, professional, very quick to respond to any and all questions and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, they always have the VO talent’s best interest set as their top priority. (Thank you Audrey!)

If you’re serious about advancing your career as a VO artist and getting your VO skills exposed to the right people you definitely need to be on this platform. But bring your A-game. This is a VO cosmos where all of your cohabitants, on both sides of the equation, are of very high caliber.
