Poor Restaurant
As this restaurant at The Globe is under new management I thought we would try it. I can honestly say it was the worst restaurant I have ever been to and I have travelled all over the world. I booked for 5pm. We were welcomed by a lovely man who managed to find us a table. We then had to wait 20 Twenty minutes to order our very expensive drinks. Ten minutes later we were told that they had run out of Pinot! So I had to choose another drink. We noticed that the table next to us had been waiting a lot longer than us and still hadn’t received their drinks and when they did arrive some were missing. This proved to be a bad omen for us! Our meals turned up after an HOUR and TWENTY one was cold! And I rejected mine as it looked so bad. They were obviously very busy and short staffed but the manager should not have taken the booking if he couldn’t cope. Other restaurants in town don’t take bookings if they know they can’t give a good service. The one shining star was the person who was clearing the glasses from the tables she worked so hard and certainty earned her money. The man in the black shirt behind the bar was a waste of space. Needless to say we won’t be back neither will we recommend it

Drinks with a side of cockroaches
Went there for the first time tonight, for a couple of drinks with some friends. On our second drink, we found a cockroach crawling under our table, so we moved to another table to finish our drinks so we could leave. As we went to leave, another cockroach fell from the ceiling and narrowly missed my face, landing next to my foot. We reported the cockroaches to two members of staff and left as quickly as possible. I wouldn't advise eating there
