The provided evidence was clearly not well viewed by the assigned „judge“.

The case was very clear. Write A, B, C, and D. The evidence shows that section C is missing. The delivered documents contains only section A, B, and D.

This leaves no room for interpretation. C is missing.

In the ruling it says that the evidence shows that all sections are delivered.

The main evidence for my case was submitted via a youtube video which I have proof was never viewed during the time the judge was assigned to the case. In his decision the judge made no mention of the evidence I presented and ruled in favor of the claimant.

Brief's process is entirely remote and asynchronous so there was no hearing, and no chance for me to speak directly with the judge. I submitted my evidence and erroneously assumed the judge would look at it. It's very frustrating to spend so much time and money preparing my case only for the judge to never even look at it.

I trusted Brief Arbitration to fairly handle a dispute, but instead, they:
❌ Ignored my emails for weeks and failed to update me on case progress.
❌ Allowed the opposing party to submit materials late without informing me.
❌ Denied me access to review the opposing submission before ruling, violating due process.
❌ Ruled against me despite clear evidence proving my case.
❌ Are now refusing to respond to my refund request after arbitration.

Brief’s arbitration process is fundamentally broken, and business owners and freelancers should be aware that this platform does not ensure fairness.

I have now filed complaints with the FTC, BBB, and am escalating this further. If you have been treated unfairly by Brief, I encourage you to file complaints as well.
