I signed up with Thomasnet after speaking with a sales representative who walked me through their platform, shared success stories, and explained that I would have monthly check-ins with a representative to support performance and lead generation.

After onboarding, I had one initial meeting and did not receive any further follow-up or ongoing support as described. Over the six-plus months of being on the platform, I have not received a single qualified lead. The inquiries that did come through were primarily spam, solicitations from other companies, or overseas outreach unrelated to our services.

I raised these concerns directly with Thomasnet, specifically noting the lack of customer support and the absence of legitimate leads. Unfortunately, no meaningful resolution or corrective action was provided. Additionally, there was no proactive outreach from their team to address performance or discuss optimization.

When I requested to cancel or discontinue payment due to the lack of results and services rendered, I was informed that I am obligated to fulfill the full one-year contract. As a result, I am currently paying $400 per month for a service that has produced no measurable return.

For comparison, I have since engaged an SEO provider and have seen significantly better results, including legitimate inbound leads that have converted into actual revenue.

Based on my experience, the service has not delivered on its stated value, and I would not recommend it to others seeking lead generation or business growth.

We have been doing business with Thomas Net for nearly 20 years now, they developed, host, and promote our website. Last year we asked them to initiate an SEO program for our website to improve ranking for some specific search queries, an effort that would take the better part of a year to accomplish. Their team was thorough and very easy to work with. They took a deep dive into who we are, what makes our products unique, who uses them (and how they use them), how we go to market, and then developed new web content specific for each market segment. The result is search engine ranking for our website for these queries has been steadily rising since this new content has been implemented. That makes this a successful SEO campaign, and a good value for the money spent.

AVOID

Thomasnet was a bad investment. We got ZERO valid leads from them. when I tried to cancel I was told I needed to submit notice 3 months in advance of auto-renewal of contract. I'm my opinion that is a very shady way to do business. That's a nice way to say this is a SCAM. Save yourself time, money, and energy, and AVOID this company.

Quality of leads = garbage
Value = My money would have been better spent at the local club. At least I would have gotten something for my money.

We have been working with our ThomasNet marketing consultant for more than 10 years. She knows and understands our business. She is able to make recommendations to deliver new business opportunities to us.
