Here is my personal experience over the last 8 months with my broadband connection using an indoor router: it has been terrible. I don't know if Three oversells its connection, but the bandwidth drops from hundreds of Mbps to less than 10 kbps—or sometimes just a few megabits.
My mistake this year was staying with them after 4 years on an older router, as I was hoping the service would improve. I like the idea of a wireless Wi-Fi router that doesn't need external wires, but it seems that Three hasn't mastered the process yet. On a positive note, the staff working in the shops provide excellent customer service.
