After having received an extortionate supply and fit quote from a local company for a Silent Gliss rail , I dediced to get a quote from Tracks Direct for supply only. The saving was considerable even once labour was deducted; this led me to be somewhat cautious as it did rely on me getting all measurements exact and Tracks Direct supplying the bent properly. The after sales support in checking measurements and sending over a scale drawing for review was brilliant and we were able to iron out any flaws before manufactured. Item was delivered within 3 days of final confirmation of measurements. Fitted it over the weekend and it fit perfectly.

Ordered a simple Silent Gliss Universal Bracket for a curtain track and it arrived quickly enough. However that shouldn't be surprising as the postage was just under £10 for a 1" bracket! Anyway, this was the wrong size unfortunately and I emailed to seek advice / swap the item. No response. Tried calling the number. Told in no uncertain terms that he only deals with trade customers and "the lady" would respond to my email. Sent another email 2 weeks later. No response. Tried again on 4th October. Still nothing. Very disappointing service. Also, they don't email you any confirmation or supply paperwork. So you're left stranded if there's a problem. Lovely business model, but not great for repeat business lol. Seems like I'm not the first to have this treatment if you sort by 1 star you'll see. I wouldn't believe the 5 star reviews, not going by this experience. They just don't make any sense.

Really helpful staff and excellent Gliss track

Not yet fixed but very happy with quality of product and the fixings supplied for fixing to the wall. Very well made and strong. Helpful advice provided pre purchase. When one small part was missing from my order it was instantly despatched. Not cheap but it will last a lifetime. Fixing instructions could be improved for first time diy'ers, eg the diagram of a passing bracket shows a normal bracket. Excellent service from Tracks Direct.
