We had a lovely week long stay at a Villa Clio. The villa had a pool and BBQ which we made good use of and there were also many local restaurants within 20-30 mins walking distance for great food. The location was close to many amenities and the cove was great for snorkelling and the nearby Garakas Beach had a great beach and crystal clear water. Nicole was really responsive when we messaged her with a couple of questions and recommended a great local restaurant and a supermarket to get BBQ coals from.

Recommend a stay here, clean, tidy all amenities you need and a short walk to City Centre

This is a lovely property.
The gardens are lush, the pool is perfect, there's inviting outdoor spaces to relax and dine, and the bonus of secure off street parking.
If you like to cook the kitchen is well equipped. The bedrooms are generously sized and the beds are comfortable.
We were two couples so great to find a place where each couple could have a private bathroom and a king sized bed.
It is a quick drive or bike ride to a number of towns and grocery stores. There's restaurants about a 15 minute walk away.
Our host was timely and responsive to emails and questions.

Loved our Chania apartment stay! This place was perfectly located to walk to old town and the harbor. Convenient to grocery stores, bakeries, dinner spots,shopping and more. The apartment was clean and spacious with all amenities needed! We really enjoyed our stay.

The property was just as described and photos. Great location, walkable to Chester town centre. The guest care team were brilliant with clear instructions, great communication throughout.

The property was spacious, clean and full of great amenity.

Will definitely consider stopping emhere or at one of the other one of their properties

At first a little confusion between the Marriott Villa, Travelstaytion & Mybnb emails but in the end all went well and was coordinated to my satisfaction.

Booked and paid for a villa 4 months in advance but canceled our reservation a few hours after check-in with no justification at peak season in Kefalonia

The villa was very nice, we loved the pool the beds are great. We were a family of 4 with teenagers. We rented through Hotels.com, it was easy to communicate with lessor. We rented a car and visited different beaches during our stay. I highly recommend this wonderful villa.

Said pets welcome, then (after booking) we get told we have to pay 96€ per day for a second pet! And when try to cancel get less than half what we already paid back!

Location, easy access, great service and clean. Would love to stay there again

We had the absolute pleasure of staying in this beautiful home in Crete for three weeks, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the hosts welcomed us with such warmth and genuine hospitality that we immediately felt at home. The house itself is stunning – immaculately clean, incredibly spacious, and filled with natural light. Every room is thoughtfully designed, creating a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere. The amenities available made our stay effortless and relaxing. Whether we were preparing meals, lounging indoors, or just enjoying quiet moments, everything we needed was right at our fingertips. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. They were always attentive, kind, and gracious – truly some of the most accommodating people we've ever encountered on our travels. Their attention to detail and sincere care for our experience made a lasting impression. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while visiting family on the beautiful island of Crete. This home was the perfect sanctuary during our time here, and we are so grateful for the incredible hospitality. The location was absolutely perfect. We were just a short drive from some of the most beautiful beaches on the island, and close to a lively downtown area filled with wonderful shops, delicious restaurants, and vibrant nightlife. It was so convenient to explore everything Crete has to offer while still having a quiet, peaceful home to return to each day. To anyone considering a stay here: don’t hesitate! This is a rare gem, and you will be well taken care of. We will definitely return when we’re back in Crete!

Amazing place

Ottimo soggiorno appartamento bello, pulito, ottima vista mare.

Everything was perfect and clean, very comfortable. The host was very kind and helpful.

Please do yourself a favour and avoid this company they use 3rd party accommodation providers and do not communicate with them my booking was cancelled minutes before my check in time and I was left stranded with nowhere to stay with my family in an area which is very popular and most placed are fully booked I had to spend a lot of time and money to accommodate me and my family and the best Travelstaytion could do is apologise and refund me If I was you I would book with another company who have the facility to organise alternative accommodation in situations like this please avoid booking with this company to save yourself the nightmare me and my family where put through.

I found out that nearly 25% of the price for my holiday accommodation was taken by TravelStaytion as "commission". I contacted them to ask exactly what the extra money was for and they replied to tell me it was simply their commission. They offer no value for this money, they are simply acting as a middle man, with their hand out for your money. I urge you not to use them and book direct.

Update: TravelStaytion has replied to this review by stating that this is standard practice in the industry. They also point out that the 25% commission isn't all theirs, but made up from multiple providers. I have no doubt that this is standard practice, and that is the point. TravelStaytion have pointed out that there are circumstances where there is indeed many middlemen, all with their hand out wanting your money, offering no real value for it. None of us should be surprised by this of course. The lesson is to always attempt to find the route to book direct. A feat becoming more and more difficult over time.

I had to cancel a €3,000+ trip due to the war in Israel. TravelStaytion (on behalf of Theros Villa) told us in writing that if we canceled, we would receive a full-value voucher valid through October 31, 2025.

We followed their instructions, canceled, and even received written confirmation from Booking.com that the voucher was active. But after all that, the property is now telling us that they won’t provide the voucher anymore because “flights have resumed” — even though our cancellation happened before any commercial flights were reliably operating from Israel.

We’ve made multiple international phone calls to Booking.com — over 20 minutes each — with no resolution and unnecessary charges.

We no longer want to stay at this property due to the way this has been handled, but we are asking for what was clearly promised in writing. This experience has caused emotional and financial stress — during wartime.

We are still waiting for Booking.com and TravelStaytion to take responsibility and honor what they confirmed.

Update (July 2025): The company’s reply below is inaccurate. We never declined the voucher - we followed their instructions exactly. Also, we were never offered the “long” voucher terms they now reference.

After ongoing delays, miscommunication, and what felt like attempts to avoid honoring their original promise, they eventually agreed to resolve the issue. We were able to close it directly with them over the phone, outside of Booking.com, only after escalating via this review.

As of now, we are still waiting for their written confirmation of the new booking (made last Friday), and we hope that will be sent soon.
