I have no idea where my wedding dress is!
It was collected by DPD in November 2025, and one week later Imran contacted me to say the wrong item had been received but he was looking into it. DPD wouldn't speak to me at all as I wasn't the customer. Loads of back and forth later - admittedly losing my temper at one point and I've always said I'll apologise for that if I'm proved wrong - but basically the search was called off. I did manage to speak to the DPD driver who collected my dress and he was baffled too, no one has taken any responsibility.
Any wedding dress is understandably sentimental, mine also has my late dads handwriting embroidered on it which is absolutely irreplaceable.
Despite only being insured for half the value, for some reason I was awarded the full value of the dress back however I don't know how they managed to do that either. A nice gesture, but if I could trade it in for my dress then I would.
Imran did keep in touch, but between him and DPD I never really got any answers. I've debated leaving this review but I feel very strongly now about going somewhere yourself to physically drop off something so precious, if it means avoiding this happening to anyone else, as the devastation it has caused is horrible.
I'll also be leaving a similar review for DPD, given that I'm yet to have any closure on this matter.

Unfortunately my wedding dress was ruined during the cleaning process and the customer service I received was so appalling I feel compelled to leave a review. To be balanced, the dress came back spotless and very clean but the fabric was totally ruined

I had zero communication that anything was wrong it just turned up on my doorstep in a small battered box (despite me sending it in the original packaging). When I first emailed pictures they offered to re-clean it but I refused to let them near it again. It then took 3 further emails and the threat of a bad review to finally receive a phone call.

On the phone call Imran made every excuse under the sun, even trying to blame the courier. Eventually he refunded me but said that he would only give me my compensation if I agreed not to leave a bad review. Well sorry Imran but it is my consumer right to leave a review and your customer service was horrible.

In future, communicate there is in issue, apologise and don’t make your customers beg for the refund and compensation that they are entitled to.

And just to note the dress was off the rack and I sent a link to the website which had the composition and cleaning information on it.

I was initially a bit wary about sending my wedding dress miles away to a company I’d never used or even heard of before—but after doing my research, I decided to trust Treasured Possessions, and I’m so glad I did!

The service was outstanding from start to finish. The attention to detail was beyond anything I expected. I honestly had little hope for my dress being rescued—the train was absolutely black and looked completely ruined after the big day. But what I got back left me speechless. My dress came back immaculate—it genuinely looks brand new!

It’s been beautifully boxed and layered with tissue to help preserve it for years to come. Every step of the process showed how much care and expertise the team puts into their work.

Absolutely fantastic service. I can not sing their praises more. I had marks on my dress 2 weeks before my wedding so was really panicking. Imran was soo unbelievably helpful and put be at ease by keeping in contact with with me as I expressed how anxious I was do to how close it was to my wedding. But they were amazing I was called when they got the dress, when it was cleaned and even called me to make sure i had got it back. It was back with me exactly when they said it would be.

I got married in June 2022, my beautiful dress ended up very dirty from being dragged through muddy puddles. Rather than get it cleaned straight away, I stuck it in a dress bag at back of my wardrobe until January 2024.

It really upset me everyday knowing it was hanging in the wardrobe, all dirty and starting to discolour. When I found Treasured Possessions, I honestly thought my dress was past it and I was wasting my money.

They arranged collection of my dress and it took around a month to get my dress back to me which I thought was extremely quick for how much work it probably needed. When I opened it up it was like looking at a brand new dress!

It's gleaming white again, no discolouration and no marks on it. It looks like it did when I first bought it, it's in a beautiful presentation box and I smile now when I see it sitting in my wardrobe.

I honestly can't thank the staff enough for their amazing work! Although I hope never to wear it again, this dress means the world to me. It was bought by my late mum, who didn't get to be at my wedding, as she passed away prior to the wedding day. So I want to thank the staff for their speed, service but mostly for taking such good care of my treasured possession! I can't thank you all enough

Dress returned cleaned and beautifully packed. Easy to deal with, answer emails very promptly. Arranged collection and return on the days agreed. Excellent personal service. Highly recommended

True Possession’s have returned it in immaculate condition and in the most gorgeous packaging. I cannot recommend Treasured Possession highly enough. My dress was dirty around the bottom but I don't know how they did it, it came back as good as new and beautifully boxed. Fabulous customer service and a prompt turnaround. Thank you so much!!!!

I have recently received my dress back from Treasured Possessions! Wow! It looks like new and I had red wine down the front! There as a little damage to the beading along the hemline but they sorted that out as well. I truly cannot fault this small family business, thank you for taking care of my dress, amazing.

Amazing little family run business! Sent my dress for cleaning and wow! The communication was spot on! Emailed when my dress arrived, emailed when they’d assessed my dress. They said it was extremely dirty…it was! It was filthy but when it arrived back to me, beautifully presented in the lovely box I bought, I couldn’t believe the results! There was an odd mark still there, come on…my dress was dragged through dirt for hours, I didn’t expect miracles..they still did an amazing job! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a completely hassle-free experience of getting my wedding dress cleaned. I was a bit worried as it was quite marked and I had put off arranging cleaning for a long time. In particular the train had a lot of mud and grime on it and Treasured Possession emailed me on receipt of the dress to say that they weren't sure they would be able to clean it entirely. But when I got it back I was pleasantly surprised! There are a few slight grey marks right at the bottom of the train still left but nothing that would at all bother me. Considering the state I sent my dress in, they have done a remarkable job! I also sent my husband's suit in and it's spotless. Their prices are also really great value considering the service. Thanks very much!

I can’t comment on the dry cleaning as sadly my dress got lost.

Fortunately for me, I’d already been married, but I dread to think how stressful this would have been had I not.

Being fair, it was the courier that lost my dress. But I will mark TP down because they told me a day before my dress was due to come back to me that it never arrived in the first place - at this point it has been missing 7 or so weeks which realistically meant I had no chance of getting it back.

I sent my dress in May, and got a 50% refund late July. It took lots of chasing, and fortunately I had a receipt still. I will say that Treasured Posessions were very responsive so I can’t fault them there. But even then, I’m still left with 50% of my dress value, and not my dress which is heartbreaking.

Again, being fair, TP’s terms do state it’s 50% only, but personally I don’t think it’s much in the way of compensation for loss of an item so valuable.

Their DPD account manager was useless, so I’d advise if you are using TP that you take the dress down there yourself and don’t trust such an important item with a courier. Otherwise you will be out of pocket like I am.

Finding someone you trust to clean the most expensive and beautiful dress that you will ever wear is daunting. Six month's after my wedding I still had my wedding dress to clean and chose Treasured Possession online after some research. Their prices are great value and more importantly, they have done an excellent job. My dress has come back like new. I had spent hours dancing the night away and getting sweaty, and the train had been stained from the grass and ground. I was dubious about how well it would come out. Sending the dress off via courier was easy to arrange, as was delivery back. We did have some email communications due to the bottom of my dress having some feathers on - as they wanted to ensure I completed a risk assessment form understanding that they may come off during cleaning. Given they had been falling off since the first fitting and that the dress also had the option without them, I was happy to go ahead. The dress however has come back beautifully. The feathers are mostly still on and the dress is back to sparkly clean perfection. When I examined the train trying to find a trace of stains, there was nothing to be seen at all - I am still sort of shocked. All in all - I would highly recommend getting your dress cleaned by Treasured Possession. The dress has come back beautifully packaged and preserved in a gorgeous box ready for storage - until I find an excuse to wear it again as I have fallen back in love with it.

My dress has arrived back home today and it is immaculate.
The collection, delivery and communication from Katy from start to finish has been brilliant. It took a little longer than originally planned but I was kept up to date.
The presentation of the dress in the box is beautiful.

I recommend this wedding dress cleaner company. Where ever you live in the UK, DPD come to pick the dress up on the date you picked and DPD back after cleaned, so you don't need to carry heave dress to your local cleaner. I used spare box to send away and came back with Travel Bag/Clothes Cover in the new box.
The girl in Treasured Possession phoned me if it was ok to be late to post it back cos she was not happy about stitch on the waist of the dress. It's fixed and came back like brand new. My daughter wore this dress outside (beach and went on the boat etc) so I didn't expect the dress will be the same.
I can strongly recommend this Treasured Possession from my experience. One more happy customer here.

Received my dress back today and wow I am so impressed!
My dress was totally disgusting, drinks split down it, mud, foot prints, everything. I had an email from these guys with the initial inspection, they said well we shall try our best but some of these won't come out... But they waved a magic wand and I'd say got 99% perfection with some tiny marks still on. I am honestly so surprised that you did so so well, and it was totally gross.
Also really easy collection and delivery to and from my house, which made the whole thing so much easier, and they were great at keeping in contact. Would Highly recommend.

I contacted TP to get my wedding dress dry cleaned to wear again next month. Unfortunately, due to the new virus strain we are not able to go ahead with the reception for a few months now. Katy at TP got back to me straight after I contacted her to let her know and refunded on the same day. This was despite them having sent a courier to pick up my unprepared (my fault) dress the week before. I can't fault this company for customer service and will use in future when we eventually have a big bash! Lyndsey McVey, Scotland

Well where to begin, my husband came across this website and I was delighted knowing I could have my dress cleaned and boxed and also with them collecting from your home, it seemed a win win. Booked and paid for, then the nightmare began. After seeing a bad review about a jeweled belt hanging off when a dress was returned alarm bells starting ringing as I have a jewel belt on my dress. I emailed the company asking for advice about it as I didn't want my belt removed and if there was another way to do it. I recieved a response quickly the next day saying their seamstress removes belts for cleaning then reattaches them afterwards. I was hesitant about going ahead as I had a bolero stitched on my dress aswell so after a change of heart I emailed saying I no longer wished to send my dress as I didn't want everything removed......nearly 3 weeks later I'm still waiting for a response and my payment refunded..... zero communication back since I mentioned a bad review and no money refunded.....now having to go through my bank to recover my money. DEFINITELY AVOID!!! Terrible customer service when any issues arise. To have taken payment and now just ignoring the customer is unacceptable
