If its the bloke that dropped Heavy Weights Dumbbells etc off @ BD4 0PY, Then he in particular and his company deserve 200% +, genuine nice guy, that's what it all should be about. He even remembered the Property and CAT house from a another delivery a year ago. ++++

My delivery was on time and delivered to my door by a pleasant young Tuffnells employee named Cameron.
It was my first Tuffnells delivery and will sadly be my last. Thank you and good luck finding new jobs

Prompt delivery - but only notified of delivery date on day of delivery. Water butt delivered all scratched down one side. Arrived in van - just laid on van floor with no protection or strapping

I left Tuffnells just under 2 years ago and I would have never sent a parcel through them.
A start up delivery company would have more success in every department.
If only everybody saw what really went on there although apparently some different depot/sites didn't adopt the same behaviours.
I'm not surprised but very happy they have gone into administration, overworking the little amount of underpaid staff they had, p*ss poor management on every level and stock destroying overloaded vehicles made it inevitable.
A list of p*ssed off customers longer than a motorway! Go figure.....

Cowboy company, had one of there drivers demolished my front garden fence high on weed absolutely stunk of it phoned there management up at Brentwood branch they didn't want anything to do with it, fence cost me £1700 ,best news that can happen they went bust after demolishing my fence

As of yesterday, 13 June, Tuffnells is now in administration. My order due for delivery is in one of their lorries somewhere. I'm sure my seller is trying to sort it out.

Worst delivery service ever
I had a schedule delivery for Amazon order. No update on item. Since last 5-6 days same status in their useless tracking site "parcel is loaded on one of vehicle and will be delivered today". No contact information just asked for sending email to customer service, which is another useless thing nobody answers there, I don't know why they have created email ID.

Only leaving 1 star because I can't leave a zero rating, absolutely useless company, I paid for next day delivery 4 days later no parcel, my order has now been cancelled by very as they don't know what has happened to my parcel although I had a text from tuffnells saying they had my parcel, I will certainly never use this company again & after reading all these awful reviews I will warn everyone to use a more reliable delivery service..AVOID

Arrived on time. Communication was good. Efficient and did the job without fuss. It’s annoying they won’t take the packaging away with them but this is made clear when you book the job. No complaint, the service was good.

Failed to deliver saying next day that driver "unable to find address"! I live 2 miles from a town centre, in a medium sized estate, off a busy main road. No attempt to contact me, just took it back to depot. Reckon they just wanted an early Friday finish.
Update- can see now why they've gone into administration.....

Order Incomplete.
I was pleased that my order was delivered earlier than expected, but it was only a part order and, although I was promised the remainder of the order by Friday 9 June, nothing arrived and I have been unable to find out when it will be delivered and what is happening about it.

The driver always takes care when delivering. Tufnells are always on time. Thank you so much for a great service.

Received a text on 1 June to tell me a delivery was on it's way for an order that I had cancelled. Tried to contact them but they didn't pick up - surprise surprise. No time slot given either. When delivery arrived on 1 June at 16.10 I told the driver the order had been cancelled as it was supposed to be delivered 17 May - not Tuffnells fault.
At 17.57 on 1 June I received another text from Tuffnells telling me they had delivered and it had a link. Following the link it stated the "consignment was successfully delivered" and I had accepted and signed for the delivery at 16.57 - there was even a squiggle for my signature!!!
Absolute liars. I would never knowingly order anything again from anywhere if I knew Tuffnells were to be the courier. Avoid at all costs.

Tuffnells stole/lost three parcels, each over 25kg in weight, the smallest 5ft long by 3ft wide.

They are dishonest and an untrustworthy organisation.

Do not ever use.

We sent out a paddle board that was wrapped in 2 layers of card, inside a padded bag, that was then boxed and placed inside a further box.

This is standard packaging.

Tuffnells destroyed the box, there were footprints all over it, holes torn into the outer box and the £999 board was damaged beyond repair.

Claim and complaint submitted as this was the 3rd board damaged out of 5 sent.

Shocking company. Shocking service. No care and attention. Do not use them if you value your goods.

Tracking was slow and the website was very basic. The packages turned up on time but they mixed them up with another order so I had to wait another week for the correct item to be delivered.

Excellent service with a phone call several minutes before actual delivery.

1) Don't provide ETA'S
2) Don't look after your item....
When I got home and brought my parcel inside (a child's mattress) the courier had ripped the plastic and the brand new mattress is filthy, looks like black oil has been spilled over it. I'm now having to arrange a collection, have to be another £200 out of pocket to order another for delivery (which will arrive who knows when) not looking forward to the supplier probably using Tuffnells again!
