I really wanted to live the dungarees
I really wanted to live the dungarees. I got a great price in the sale and order 4 pairs. A number of seams split on the first wear but I patched them, they lost their shape very easily and looked shabby. Over time the holes the straps go through have split and now I only happily wear 2 pairs. Sorry, could be so much better x

Great quality clothes - the fabric feels nice and it's well made. I'd already bouggt ine in black and then the blue one went in sale and its so useful and comfortable so I bought it too.

Disappointing – inconsistent products and awful customer service
Extremely disappointed with Turtle Dove London. The quality varies dramatically even when ordering what appears to be the same product. I ordered two sweatshirts from the same product link, with the same product name, just in different colours. One was acceptable (mainly because it was in the sale - these are expensive items) while the other was poorly made, in a completely different fabric, with an awful finish.
The sizing is also unreliable — one sweatshirt was around 8cm smaller, so you cannot trust the sizing. Despite the item being a different fabric, different size, different finish, I was still expected to pay to return the shoddily finished sweatshirt.
Customer service was dreadful. The customer service manager was unprofessional, she didn’t even use a greeting, no “dear” or even a simple “hello” - just my first name with abrupt, dismissive responses and no basic courtesy and no attempt to meet in the middle or resolve. I was made to feel as though I was at fault for expecting two identically named, identically listed products to be the same.
Inconsistent quality, misleading listings, and unhelpful customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this company.
UPDATE: As requested, I have tried to reach out to resolve but this was unsuccessful. I truly hope the company rethink how they list products moving forward to ensure this doesn’t happen to someone else.

You’re right to expect consistency when ordering the same product in different colours, and we’re genuinely sorry that wasn’t your experience. Differences in fabric, finish and sizing shouldn’t have happened in the way you describe, and we understand why that felt misleading and frustrating.

Great customer service and great…
Great customer service and great clothing. I ordered two Alice jumpsuits on Black Friday but when I got the dispatch email I realised I’d ordered the wrong size in one colour!!! Luckily, they do exchanges so my correct size is currently winging its way to me in time for Christmas. I only returned the incorrect size last Friday so I’m pleased they’ve turned it around so quickly before Xmas.

Matching sweatshirt & sweatpants
I own several TDL pieces. But recently my purchases had to be returned. Sizing is off, always bought a 3 & they were a generous fit. But now labelled a L, trousers are too tight & tops are short & wide! Quality of material isn’t as good, also finish is poor on hems. Then there’s the return postage!

THIEVES
I returned the maternity jumpsuit due to it being absolutely huge, as many others have said the sizing is completely ridiculous. I got a small and the straps would fall down and the front would hang down below my bust. BUT they are denying ever receiving my return even with proof of purchase and the date and time and amount of money taken by the local post office for the return. The person I have spoken to over email has been cold, rude and unhelpful. Quite possibly the WORST customer service I’ve ever received. As far as I’m concerned they are thieves as I’ve been told I won’t be getting the jumpsuit refunded as they can’t locate it. So they are keeping the jumpsuit and my money. Disgusting all round

We want to be very clear that we would never intentionally keep both an item and a customer’s money. When returns can’t be immediately located, it’s genuinely distressing for both sides, and we’re sorry this hasn’t been handled in a way that felt supportive or reassuring.

Quality looks good
I bought these barrel legged trousers for my daughter-in-law so cannot comment on the fit as they are for Christmas but can say they appear to be very good quality. Packaging could have been a little better though.

Ordered size 2 trousers
Ordered size 2 trousers , was sent size 1 with a "2" label.. sent back and told they would send the right size out. only to be told over a week later the "2" was now sold out. Very disappointed, first time ordering and won't be ordering again.

Such a muddle, don't shop with them. Quality of products is not that great, sizing is all over the place, they denied receiving an item I returned and stopped replying to my emails when I asked for my refund.

Matilda dress no longer for larger sizes
Oh Ive had a negative experience and only posting to warn other people who may order the larger size expecting it to be the same as the matilda dress size 3. I ordered a L in the black dress and was v disappointed that it was no where near as roomy as my previous 3 matilda dresses. I contacted customer services who then wanted photos of the measurements and was then advised that it had been mis labelled and should have been a M. This process took them nearly 2 weeks to confirm they were sending me out a M when I was asking for a L. Another round of emails and then finally received replacement dress. Unfortunately it is exactly the same as the original dress so would appear that they no longer cater for 18+ size even tho it states its for 20-22. The dress is more like a 16. You would have thought they could use their own stock to see the drastic reduction in sizing and checked to see measurements of the replacement dress they sent me. Sorry for waffle but get v disappointed in fashion brands fat shaming in this day and age.
