AVOID AT ALL COST at Coalville…
Went in for aircon regas at Coalville and ended up an hour before they started doing it as they had to get the gas ready..even though I had a appointment booked so why don’t you prep it in time! Then the plump chap doing the job, started revving the car like a hooligan pretending he needed to do this so he could check the aircon..how stupid do you think customers are! No customer service and pure stupidity from the team..avoid at all cost! Useless and don’t know about cars..AVOID!!!

We’re sorry that your visit didn’t meet your expectations. During periods of hot weather, we often have a high volume of air conditioning appointments booked throughout the day. On occasion, our air conditioning machine may require additional preparation between vehicles, which can cause an unexpected delay despite appointments being scheduled. While we always aim to keep to time, we appreciate your patience when this happens.
Regarding your comments about your vehicle being revved, this is a normal part of the testing process on many vehicles. Running the engine at an increased RPM allows the air conditioning compressor to operate under normal driving conditions, enabling our technicians to accurately check system pressures, cooling performance and ensure the system is functioning correctly after the regas. This is standard practice and is carried out solely as part of the manufacturer’s recommended testing procedure.
We appreciate that everyone’s experience can differ, however we would like to reassure both yourself and future customers that our technicians are fully trained and always carry out work in line with the correct procedures. We take pride in the standard of service we provide and will always continue to do so.

Great service
I turned up on a whim to have some work done, they got me in no booking required. They done all the work I asked of them and reasonable priced, car is driving alot better now. Staff are fantastic.
They only down side they say they open at 8am (which they do) but the fitters don't start till 08.30.

Our MOT appointments do start from 8:00am, however 8:30am is when some of our other workshop staff begin their shifts, which may have caused the misunderstanding. My car unexpectedly failed its MOT on worn brake pads but the friendly and welcoming staff managed to get it fixed and me back on the road within 2 days - all at a competitive price.

just wanted to highlight the poor…
just wanted to highlight the poor service I received at the Coalville branch
I booked my car in for a 4 wheel alignment as one of the rear tyres was showing excessive uneven wear. The appointment was scheduled at 8.00am.
I experienced the following issues : -
1. I arrived at 8.00am as per the appointment to eventually be told that the operative in question doesn’t begin work until 8.30am
2. When I returned to pick up my car, I was handed the keys and told it was all done. I was not given a report (as your major competitors do) or given any information regarding any adjustments made.
3. When I questioned this, the receptionist went to ask the operative and came back to tell me that they had been unable to adjust the rear wheels as the ‘arms’ are seized and need replacement. They offered to quote for the necessary work and contact me later with a price.
4. I received a phone call to inform me that the required work would cost @£550, but they wouldn’t charge me for re-alignment
I have 3 main complaints: -
1. I received no report or information when I collected my car.
2. Had I not questioned it, I would have been allowed to leave the premises blissfully unaware that the rear wheels were still mis-aligned, continuing to cause excessive wear on the rear tyre that could have caused a blow out possibly resulting in a serious accident.
3. I paid for a 4 wheel alignment which was not fully carried out.

Firstly, we apologise if you did not receive the full report upon collection of your vehicle. Providing customers with the results of the work carried out is standard practice, and we're sorry if this was not communicated as clearly as it should have been.
Having spoken with our colleagues at the branch, we have been advised that you were informed that the rear alignment could not be completed due to the rear suspension arms being seized and requiring replacement. We also understand that, when providing the quotation for the required repairs, you were offered the re-alignment free of charge once the necessary work had been completed.
In relation to the quotation, we always strive to keep our prices as competitive as possible. In this instance, the only replacement parts available to us were genuine manufacturer parts, which was explained at the time and reflected in the quotation provided.
We appreciate your comments regarding communication at collection and will use your feedback to remind our team of the importance of ensuring customers leave with a full explanation of the work carried out and any recommendations.
