Excellent Service.

Needed a new tyre today, old tyre had a cracked wall and dangerous.
Gave us a choice of tyres with no hard sale. carried out the replacement without fuss, always pleased with the service we receive from Tyremen.

Really good service, really helpful! Needed a hard to get tyre and they sorted it for me straight away! Bill and the rest of the staff in the garage are great, would definitely recommend!

Had problems with my tyres and received really fast and friendly service! They told me what was wrong straight away, they were honest and gave me the best price they could! Made me feel at ease as I have never really dealt with car issues on my own before, highly recommend!!

Once again excellent and efficient service from Tyremen in Hull. I highly recommend them should you require new tyres or a tyre repair. I have used them three times now and on each occasion have had both excellent service and customer care.

Noticed yesterday that the offside front on our new-to-us (bought secondhand, as usual :) Skoda Fabia was beginning to feel soft after the first week's driving, so popped in to Tyremen - as always! £17 spent, problem fixed, wheel balanced too, coffee / chat while waiting ... what's not to like!

(See I used "what's not to like" in my only other review back in 2015. Obviously way too predictable :)

I needed a new space saver tyre for my Jaguar F pace and spoke to the office who arranged for their expert to call me back which he did in about 10 minutes.
I ordered what I needed over the phone and was promised delivery in 48 to 72 hours.
The whole pack arrived in 36 hours and I am delighted.
The product and the service was excellent thank you TYREMEN.

Great service, with excellent customer care. From the minute I walked through the door, I was made to feel welcome, Free tea/coffee/chocolate along with water was offered whilst my car went through its MOT, it failed, Billy explained what work would need doing to put this right and I happily left my car, on collection again we were greeted with a friendly hi. My car is now safe, and roadworthy again, all thanks to a great team. Thank you very much, I will definitely return for any future work and can recommend them 100%.

This is the second time we have visited Tyremen in Hull to have tyres replaced. Service, second to none, will definitely visit when new tyres are needed. A special mention for Anthony Barrett whom we dealt with - brilliant customer service.

Appalling
Tyremen used to be excellent, great service and great customer attention. and it still is, until they damage your car.
Had 2 tyres fitted to my car a week or so ago and EVERY time it is left in their care, I specifically request to take extra care with the wheels and NOT to scratch them - mainly as they are as new diamond cut wheels. The workshop manager assures you that the wheels will not be scratched. Only this time, the car is returned with a 6 to 7 inch scratch around the rim face of the diamond cut.
Anyone with such wheels will know these cannot be refurbished to 'as new' condition like you can with a silver painted wheel. Furthermore, after suffering 3 years ago a full set of refurbished wheels at Wheelemin in Hull, and failing after only 4 months with all 4 wheels peeling, it simply is NOT a suitable resolve.
Tyremen will only offer you a refurb on these wheels, and also suggest Wheelemin who fail to do this job. Furthermore, the time and effort it actually takes you to get this done will cost you more than it has cost Tyremen to pay for the job! They won't offer any compensation for you lost hours of work or travel expenses, or taxi fee costs.
great company if you don't care about your car, but if you do - TAKE IT ELSEWHERE - Bill advised they do scratch wheels so seems to be a very common occurrence.... not to mention the grubby brake dust marks all over my interior door panels.
It's obvious by other reviews on here that should anything go wrong, they are just not interested in covering your losses.

Good friendly advice on the phone and they delivered my wheels and tyres bang on time. Having cancelled an order with Mytyres after waiting over a month I just wish I had gone to Tyremen in the first place.

Friendly, genuine and honest staff who were so helpful today! Sorted me with a new tyre quickly and gave me honest advice on which one to pick (I had no idea!). Definitely reccomend! Great customer service and will definitely come again.

Rang up today for appointment and told to just pop in. Arrived to find lovely gentlemen on front desk, was advised to take car round back to Glen then to take a seat and have a coffee. Everything went smoothly - fixed my tyre after finding a nail in it. Didn't try yo rip me off by suggesting new tyre. Car was driven round for me after having all tyres pressure tested and balanced. Very helpful - would recommend.

Over the last few years I have used Tyremen to buy my new tyres as well as repair punctures and check air pressure - today was no different. As always Tyremen can be trusted to do the right thing without trying to make more money out of it - I have always had choices of tyres across a price range with balanced advice on my choices and today I only needed some small repairs with some recommendations for post MOT and winter preparation. I was also reminded that I should just pop in bi monthly for a free pressure check. Its always nice to see the same faces, they know me and are always warm, friendly and welcoming. The aircon was a blessing this afternoon and I got chance to watch a bit of tennis as well! PS As for waiting (see previous reviews) I would rather the job was done properly for the customer b4 me as I know I will get the same attention. I have always recommended TM to my friends and will continue to do so.

Called Tyremen before I arrived for a quote for a pair Uniroyals. They offered me a competitive price compared with the other companies on the internet. As I have often found the service was quick and efficient. The tyre technician checked my existing tyres and also adjusted the pressures for me. As always all of the staff were polite and made this as nice an experience as you can get when having to part with a lot of money. Thanks to all involved today. If you're in Hull or nearby, this company is worth a visit.

Recent trips to tyremen in hull i have found they are getting very slow !
a few years ago i would have given 5 * but the past 7 times i have been with other people the waiting time is now terrible !! one and three quarter hours to replace one tyre on a wheel we took in. sorry guys but i will be taking people and myself to another company, your way too slow.

I ordered a set of winter tyres complete with new alloys for my daughters 2016 golf.. dealt with Chris over the phone, wheels arrived within 48 hrs of ordering. I’ve fitted them to the golf and they look great and the tyres are excellent. The whole experience was a delight and I would use them again. Many thanks. Richard , Chesterfield
