Good product.
Once you've had ear mouldings taken you can order different types of protectors.
I've got max noise protection for Motorbiking/power tool use and just bought a pair more suited to noisey restaurants,music events,but speaking is still not much affected, takes the edge off.
It's worth looking after your hearing.

Initially, I sent an online enquiry regarding their various custom earphone options. The very next working day, I received a call providing all the technical details I needed to select the right product for my needs. Once I ordered, they seamlessly arranged my ear impressions at a local Specsavers.
​I received my Motorcycle SoundEar Pro custom earphones within just two weeks of sending off the impressions. Having tested them, the fit is excellent—very secure yet comfortable. The sound quality is impressive with a surprising amount of bass for such a low-profile monitor. Overall, I’m very impressed with both the company’s efficiency and the quality of the product. Highly recommended for any serious driver or rider.

Great product and service

Ordered beginning of February and was delivered the following week so a great service. I have a pair of Motorcyclist SoundEar Pro, and they are fantastic, so decided to order the side sleep ear plugs. They fit is as good as my others do, I haven't used them properly yet but have tested them in a room with a loud TV running in the background, and they reduced the noise significantly. So once again a great service, product, and price I highly recommend them.

I ordered a pair of sleep plugs. The whole process was made very easy and within a few days I’d sent off my ear impressions following the appointment that was conveniently booked for me. Ultimate ear protection kept me updated via email from receiving the impressions to manufacturing the plugs and finally shipping. It did take a while to receive my plugs but that period was less than the time quoted when I placed the order so nothing that I wasn’t expecting. When I received the plugs I tried them and the fit was perfect. I tried them that night and initially they felt very comfortable however, I woke up a few hours later with sore ears around the concha area. This happened the next 2 nights too. I contacted the company and after explaining my issues and sending a couple of photos showing how they fit in my ear they sent me a return label to make some alterations. I received them back a few days ago and they managed to convert the plugs to the side sleeper version. These are now spot on, I can hardly tell they are in my ear and are causing zero discomfort for the whole night. Thank you very much for such a fantastic service!

This is my second set of moulded plugs from Ultimate Ear Protection and I cannot be more delighted.

They have a very easy to navigate website and they quickly respond to email messages. If you have had your ear impressions done previously, they keep them on a digital file, so you do not need to do anything other than order them.

Once ordered, I received regular updates on the status of them and they arrived super quick and well packaged.

Had ear molds taken at the skydiving expo, great service & fast delivery.

Purchased the budget moulded product at first. I'm living in Ireland so was recommended to go to Specsavers in Limerick for moulds to be taken. This was to cost me €35.00. An Appointment was made but due to a staffing issue I had to be moved to another branch in Limerick.... fine.
Attended to be examined and told ear wax would have to be removed and it needs to be softened.... €10.00 small jar and applicator used twice a day. Attended next appointment, earwax removed..... €68.00.....
Attended again after 1 week.... moulds taken both ears and the charge was €45.00. I showed the girl the email received from Ultimatear and she agreed to charge the €35.00 reluctantly.
Moulds boxed and sent to the UK address via registered post €13.00 as advised.
At this stage I am beginning to regret my decision to go for the cheaper product with all these additional costs and I called to amend my order, this was no problem just pay the difference. I went for the soundear pro wired. (I use a Shoei Neotec with the Cardo edge comms and the wired will plug straight in).
Excellent communication from Ultimatear all along the process until final email telling me my product was complete and gone with Fedex, with me in a few days.
Just over 2 weeks later the package was notified to me as being available (no tracking info available from Fedex economy service £20.00 charge throughout its journey.... as far as I was concerned via their tracker, the driver was 2 weeks eating their biscuits and drinking their tea in the factory canteen) but only after the payment of an additional €31.67 to cover import tax,tariffs and vat at point of entry. I did contact Ultimate ear about this final charge and all I got was we do our best , we reduced its value a little..... miss you already!
So far with limited use , yes the product is good, yes the noise blocking is effective, yes you need to turn the volume down low, yes this saves battery life, yes the quality looks good, yes the sound is clear and strong in both base and trebble..... maybe not as good as a set of high end inear or on ear sets but for motorbikes..... better than I'll need.
Am I glad I upgraded.... yes, I would have been very upset if I stayed with the basic set after discovering the additional unmentioned costs.
Finally, if your reading this and you live outside of the UK and are considering the purchase of one of Ultimatear products..... be aware of ALL the costs associated, not just the price of the product.
Maybe have a look at the same product from a European manufacturer..... might be as good and far more cost effective.

I've purchased two products from UltimateEar: Musician's Plugs purchased 3 years ago, and just recently a set of Sound Ear Pro3.

I've had several sets of fitted ear plugs over the years and have been happiest with the ones from Ultimate Ear. The others have been harder and generally less comfortable than the supple material the ones from Ultimate Ear are made from.

I was so happy with the Musician's Plugs that when I decided to get a new set of in-ear monitors, Ultimate Ear was the obvious choice. They used my previous ear impressions, which was convenient, and took about 3 weeks to make. I'm extremely pleased with the result. They're great sounding, and an absolute perfect fit, hooking into the top part of my ear ( I think technically the antihelix) so there's no chance they can fall out.

From the moment I placed my order there communication has been superb. I had a delay in getting my impressions done, not there fault, but they still emailed me to make sure all was still okay. Once i had sent the impressions I was informed when they had received them and kept up to date on the whole process. Would highly recommend.

Excellent service and communication during the manufacture process. Used my ear plugs on my motorbike for the 1st time today.Fit perfectly and dont try and fall out like various other ear plugs i have tried.Much less wind noise and can still hear my coms system.If buying another pair i would probably purchase there 23db ones and not the 29db.Due to how well they work i do have to have my coms volume turned right up.

Great service, good communication and very fast turnaround from sending in the impressions to receiving the Ear Plugs only took one week.
