Terrible Company

Terrible Company, every day i am getting another call from a different UniShipper Telemarketer. Even though i told them 4 times already to not call us as we will not swap our operations to UniShippers i get questions like „who could you possibly working with?“ heres your answer IT DOESNT MATTER WHO I AM WORKING WITH I AM NOT GOING TO WORK WITH YOU SO TAKE ME OFF YOUR STUPID CALL LIST.

There is a reason for so many negative reviews

There is a reason there are so many negative reviews. On 1/14/2025 I told Unishippers to close my account because of a terrible experience where they charged me and took more than a month to refund Over $3,000. Now I get a charge over a year later because a company (that I do business with) somehow used my Closed account. If an account is closed, it should never be charged, and the payment method should be deleted.

update: the transaction has been voided but the invoice is open

These guys harass you with phone calls…

These guys harass you with phone calls for fifteen years if you use them once. I have asked for them to stop calling 2,456,433 times, and they still give me my daily sales calls. They even call my business and then my cell right after. STAY AWAY unless you like telemarketing calls for the rest of your days on earth.

Great rates, great service

Tried Unishippers for LTL years ago, but just found out they did small packages as well. Saved about 20% vs. my FedEx/UPS rates. Customer service team they have is white glove. Rather than calling 1-800 UPS I have a sales rep and a full team I get access to for claims or any issues. Great rates and was able to easily connect to my shipstation.

Solid company

Solid company, gave my business access to much better UPS pricing than Shopify or ShipStation. I have been shipping for months & have seen 0 price discrepancies in my invoices.

Scam company

Scam company. If you wanna get ripped off, this company is for you. They quote you one price to get the business, then 10x the cost and bill you for that amount. Weve been dealing with this company for over a year to get a resolution, every single time with a different rep who does not know how to resolve the situation. Finally got some one with somewhat of a head on their shoulders, who tried to make amends, took payment, said all is settled, only to be charged that amount twice and then have collections calling for more. This is the WORST broker ever to use. Stay away unless you dont mind paying for services that cost 10x more than other brokers can do it for. Dont get reeled in!!

Absolute SCAM of a company.

Absolute SCAM of a company.
I setup my account with Unishippers in Albany NY.
In January 2025 I requested cancellation of my account and they acknowledged the cancellation request and then kept on charging my credit card monthly fees until August, which I asked them several times to stop.
Spoke to their manager Matthew T. and he acknowledged that they over charged and said they would refund me.
Been trying to get a refund from them since and now months later and multiple attempts to get my refund, they have stopped answering my emails and have not refunded anything.

Deceptive Pricing

I received a call from a representative from Unishipper, telling me that his company would give me UPS shipping rates lower than FedEx. I agreed to try their company. My first UPS order that I shipped using their shipping labels was for two boxes costing a total of $94.24. This was about the same as FedEx, but I decided to go with UPS. Imagine my horror when the invoice from Unishipper added a $30 invoice charge. When I called, they told me that that is a charge we discussed. I would remember that! Do not do business with this company.

No sense in using their calculator

No sense in using their class calculator. It's not correct. Last (2) shipments: Quote was $167.44 After it was reclassed $300.79. Quote was $213.19 After it was reclassed $333.45. Why get a quote from them if it's not even close???

Incredibly Annoying

I've had a frustrating experience with Unishippers due to persistent and unsolicited calls. Despite clearly stating I wasn't interested, they continued to reach out with repeated questions. The level of follow-up felt excessive and intrusive, making the experience more stressful than helpful.

This vendor will add misc charges to…

This vendor will add misc charges to your bill post quote. In my experience it was for lift gate / no loading dock to the tune of $60. This would make sense if the delivery location was commercial but I selected residential and apparently this company thinks residential deliveries have either a fork lift or a loading dock.

Non-stop cold calls

Original review, July 8th: Non-stop cold calls. As a business owner I keep getting cold calls from the,. No matter how many times I ask them to take me off of their lists, it never ends.

Edit 7/17/25: They replied to the review, suggesting I email them so they can look into the issue. I emailed them, but I received another 2 calls since then. My number is on the government's do not call registry, yet they are still calling. I would suggest we start a class-action lawsuit.

False Quotes

Quoted shipment at $344.79 then turned around and billed us at $850.40.
We paid the $344.79 and moved on. Now they keep trying to come after us for the balance.

Bait and switch pure and simple

Bait and switch pure and simple. We were promised a flat class 85 on all of our shipments by the salesperson. We even did quotes through their system together. Then we started getting invoices for much higher rates. When we complained to Unishippers, they said that was what the freight company charged them. We told them the salesperson set us up with an 85 class across the board. They said oh he is no longer with the company, sorry, pay the bill we sent you. Horrible company who hires these independent sales reps that will promise you the world to get your business. Then they screw you over!

Shocking Lack of Customer Service & Professionalism

We have been a customer of Unishippers for 7 years. In all that time I had a single damage, on a UPS ground shipment, due to negligence by UPS as we have clearly documented the robust padding used in our packaging. UPS mishandled my claim and when I went to Unishippers I was put through more of an ordeal rather than the help I would have expected given in a 7 year time span it's the only time I've ever needed support. Since UPS had already put me through over a month of waiting, Unishippers said they were going to try to expedite resolution. This turned out to take nearly another month to conclude. I had to have my client wait all that time to receive his replacement. Understandably I had conveyed my sense of urgency to the various Unishippers reps along the way in an attempt to make this right for my client. Finally once I received my claim check, I was sent a brutally abrupt and harsh email from Unishippers stating "Regrettably, (Company Name) and our services are not well-suited. Effective immediately, Unishippers will no longer serve as your logistics coordinator and will be closing your account with us." I have never encountered such a shocking lack of professionalism and customer service in all of my 22 years of running our business from any vendor. No explanation, no notice, no warning. This puts our clients in an unacceptable position, as I've already quoted them all on their UPS shipments for open orders. Wow!

Poor Follow-Through and Lack of Communication

We’ve had a really frustrating experience with Unishippers. We’ve been trying to get support for shipments that arrived damaged, but the whole process has dragged on for over a month—and most of the delays were due to late replies or no replies at all from their side.
We even scheduled a meeting to talk things through, but they didn’t show up. They apologized and said they’d reschedule, which we agreed to—but they never followed up with a new invite. We kept sending reminders, but still didn’t hear back.
What’s most disappointing is how different their attitude is now compared to when we first started working with them. Back then, they were responsive and helpful. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case when we’ve needed actual support.
I’m sharing this in hopes that they take this kind of feedback seriously and improve how they handle customer issues going forward.

I want to raise a serious concern…

I want to raise a serious concern regarding a sales representative named Wyatt from Unishippers. He has been repeatedly spamming my business with unwanted calls, lying to my employees by claiming he has spoken with me (which is completely false), and has even gone so far as to look up and call multiple personal phone numbers associated with the business owner.

When asked to remove us from his list, he claimed he was unable to do so. I have no idea what this company actually does, but this kind of aggressive and dishonest sales behavior is unacceptable and reflects extremely poorly on your business.

This is not just unprofessional—it’s invasive and unethical.
