Staff in shop helpful and polite. Fitters are great, I am a pensioner on my own and nothing is too much trouble.

Professional and polite
Everything from going in store to order to the finished product was great, the purchasing was smooth and every step was explained, when the lads came to lay the lino they were super friendly and proper Yorkshire lads who were relaxed enough to show they were pro's, easy as anything it was laid properly pretty fast and cleaned up afterward.

The sales person was knowledgeable and friendly and had me try several mattresses and when I selected one quickly completed sale and arranged same day delivery.

Great customer service. Not pushy.
We went to this store to compare with our local carpet store. The relaxed and helpful staff approached us with questions about what we wanted and budget etc. They had several samples of similar products which we could take home to test. The sales person arranged to come to us in a few days time. She measured up and we then talked about a price point. She went back to store and by the end of that day we had an agreement for underlay, carpet and fitting within the week. I was so pleased and chose this store to use due to excellent service

I was told (the day before) that the fitters would arrive late, late morning. And at 11.59am, that's when they arrived. I'd gone ahead of them clearing and emptying the rooms, so that the fitters could crack on, and they absolutely did.
The United fitters were friendly, knew exactly what to do and in what order. They did a fantastic job.
In no time at all they'd finished and my house was back together, looking all shiney and new.
We'd bought a whole roll of carpet from United Pontefract quite some time ago, but because of family bereavements, etc. they had stored it for us until we were ready to go. There was never any pressure from them to get on with things.
We paid a great price and are very happy with every aspect.
Would I recommend United, Pontefract - absolutely and would I go back - definitely.
