The first time I came into the store I found the mattress I wanted and was pleased to see posters on the wall stating you could pay weekly or monthly, interest free on anything over £500. I asked the manager and was told that offer could only be done online so I'd have to go away and order from the website. When I got home and looked the mattress I wanted wasn't even on the website so I contacted customer services who told me I was correct and could do the interest free over 12 months on anything over £500 in store and they would contact the shop and reiterate that to them. So I went back and tried again to be told again that it was only over £1000 in store. I told them I'd spoken to CS and the manager jumped in and said yes I was right but I would have to pay over 6 months not 12 months, therefore doubling my payments. I decided to pay outright and did get a bit of a discount due to all the confusion and mess around. But... I was told it would be in-store for the following Thursday or latest Tuesday after that...I didn't hear anything on either of those days so I rang the store to be told delivery days had changed only 2 days after I made my order and it would be a few more days before it arrived! I should have received a courtesy call about this. The manager did send a colleague to the warehouse to pick it up for me but I have to say the service and communication throughout from store to customer services at head office were shocking. If I hadn't have wanted that particular mattress I would have shopped elsewhere!!

Good service, I bought the carpet on a Saturday and fitting was completed in 4 days . Carpet fitters very good

Me and the wife were looking for a front room carpet, we went into united carpets at Scunthorpe, we found the atmosphere relaxed and friendly, no pushy sales people hounding you, we had a look round and started to struggle with a suitable carpet, Aaron saw us struggling and asked if we needed a hand, ( which we did) he asked us the sort of footfall we would be having and very quickly had our carpet and underlay sorted, carpet was booked in for 2 weeks as the carpet we chose wasn't in stock and had to come from Belgium, this was one of the easiest transactions ever and made things so easy and straight forward, I thought it was going to be a bit of an ordeal, but it couldn't of gone better. The fitting of the carpet on the day of the appointment was the same story, given a courtesy call the day before clarifying the time etc, Aaron came with another fitter who assisted him, ( sorry can't recall the name) job was done quickly and efficiently, absolutely spot on, we have had bad luck with trades people in the past, I wish they could be more like United carpets, Aaron measured up our stairs and landing for a fitment for later in the new year, I would never think of going anywhere else for carpets after the brilliant service we received, thank you so much.

Had to carry bed myself into bedroom after paying £10 for delivery and I’ve had a stroke and mattress still smells of damp

Aaron, Mick and Randy fitted our carpets and Vinyl this morning, they arrived on time and they were so efficient, hardworking and tidy. Their work was amazing, im so pleased. Can not recommend them enough.

Salesman was very helpful - understood what I wanted - and was prepared to go through the options without me feeling pressured. I found a basic off the roll plain vinyl within my budget range at the Scunthorpe store
The fitter (Aaron ??) also understood what I wanted and why. He had amazing attention to detail which is seen in the end result and I totally appreciate - the whole effect is perfect

The woman who served us was fantastic, really helped us make it the cheapest and most affordable for us. Helped us pick the right carpet for us and made our children feel comfortable and happy with the toy area whilst we discussed everything. The gentlemen that came out to fit it were also fantastic and really knowledgeable.
