Carpet fitting
The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. Very help full and understanding. The carpet fitters were very professional and did an amazing job. Norman and Brian in the shop were very professional and helpful and all of them were very pleasant and friendly.

Poor fitting
Carpet and underlay were a great price and quality.
The fitting however was done to a poor standard. I was so disappointed. Looks like its been cut with a blunt Stanley knife. Never left enough to go under the door bar so looks awful.

Good choice , bad fitting
This is the second time I have used UC and yet again I was very pleased with the customer service in the shop and when they came out to measure up .
My one complaint, hence minus 1 star, is the fitting of my staircase carpet wasn't great . Very slapdash. But the fitters work independently I think . Prices overall are very reasonable. I will use again but not that fitter .

5 star service from Brian at the Southport store. No pressure sales,was left to peruse at my own leisure and told if I needed any information then just to ask. 1st class knowledge and advice from him when I was purchasing a new bed and mattress. I will definitely use them again.

First impressions of the Southport branch…
First impressions the Southport branch are very friendly
the after sales service is poor mainly because the fitters are different from the shop the laminate fitter was supposed to fit laminate in my back porch to match the rest of downstairs so I had to complain to the shop also he did not fit the laminate edging in the kitchen the edging is just left on the lounge floor!
I have emailed the shop no reply as yet do not pay the fitters unless you are certain they have followed
your fitting instructions!

Brian and Norman at the Southport shop…
Brian and Norman at the Southport shop were beyond helpful, patient, professional and friendly throughout the whole process of helping us pick flooring for 6 rooms in our house.. The fitters arrived on time, didn't hesitate to move heavy things for us as we are both disabled and then put it all back again with smiles on their faces.. The floorings they fitted are stunning and so beautifully done.. We have told all our families and friends that we can't recommend united carpets enough and most will be using them now for their own home..

Carpets reasonable price and the…
Carpets reasonable price and the fitting was efficient and quick however my daughter enquired about vinyl for the hallway she was told Ian would come 22/11 however he did not turn up after waiting all day

Very helpful staff at Southport shop, Norman was polite & efficient. Had carpets fitted in July and then bedroom & stair carpet fitted in November different fitters each time both marvellous. Would recommend

They sent one man to do a two man job
They sent one man to do a two man job. When carrying the carpet up the stairs they scratched our brand new walls and ruined them. We'd only had them done a few weeks prior. There was no good will gesture as it was their fault the walls were ruined and still charge full price for the carpet fitted, when as a result of ruining the wall this will now cost the same to have re done as the carpet. Joke

Great Service From the Team at United Carpets
We bought flooring for our whole house from United Carpets. The guys at Southport have been great. Norman, Ian and Brian were friendly, helpful and patient with me ordering and borrowing endless samples. The fitter Craig is a nice lad and did a wonderful job too. They all deserve recognition for their great service.
