Scammers pretending to be affiliated with French Connection
I found this company when trying to search for a French Connection item of clothing. It seemed to be affiliated with French Connection as this was emblazoned all over the website although the registered address was in the US. It advertises that it sends goods anywhere in the world for free and registering via eMail, putting an item of clothing in my basket and putting my location did not prompt a message that they do not deliver outside of the US. It was free delivery but I incorrectly assumed that because they looked affiliated with French Connection it may transport from one country to the other via FC (e.g this happens with Victoria's Secrets) Even so, I screenshot my order details as I do with any company I've not bought off before. I paid by Credit Card and the website showed my Order Reference Number and order details. That was it; I received no eMail confirming my order. The money was taken from my Credit Card and I contacted them though the website on 10/11/2022 (as no option to eMail them) and challenged that the money was taken and I had no eMail receipt. Dubiously the recipient of the payment was Abentheben Jinan Sd. Naturally I never received the goods or a refund and they deleted my details from their company even though I'd registered and could log back in a couple of months after the order was placed. Unfortunately I could not recover from my Credit card as my Credit card company was transitioning to another company and I had elected not to transfer as the Credit Card benefits were no longer advantageous. Definitely a scam!
