I have amended this review because it was directed at phonak not viewpoint inyork.
Viewpoint in york is excellent in their customer service especially John Manley who is their audiologist, who is fantastic..
I would recommend anybody if they are looking for good service and good quality hearing aids,ie Phonak go to viewpoint feasgate york.

if there were 10 * I would give it.... John Manley The Audiologist is Fabulous..... Puts you at your ease, explains all the procedures thoroughly and with a great sense of humour as well.
I look forward to seeing him again.

I have been visiting John Manley for a few years now at Viewpoint in York.
I swim regularly and I used to get several bad ear infections every year. Since seeing John to have regular ear wax removal, I have not had any more ear infections.
Problem solved.
John is very professional and skilled. He is very friendly and he has really helped me.
I recommend him without hesitation.

I have used Viewpoint for decades for optical needs. Today I visited audiology for the first time and it was a very successful trip. John Manley is incredibly knowledgeable and the appointment was very relaxed. My concerns were addressed and a painless examination, along with hearing tests were carried out. I would highly recommend John for any audiology concerns.

I visited the Viewpoint located in the centre of York and was delighted. Even before my visit the audiologist John Manley had advised me over the phone how to rectify my hearing aid connection problems. During the visit he optimised my hearing aids to the best hearing condition I had ever experienced. I thought that obtaining my hearing aids in Boston Massachusetts at a world class medical facility the their set up could not be bettered. John with care and humour improved their performance.

Viewpoint Opticians do not just provide the most comprehensive and up to date optical service available, they provide a specialist health service experience second to none. It is innovation applied to a business management model that seamlessly combines a superbly equipped centre run by efficient, friendly and knowledgeable staff who appear to genuinely relish their vocation making health awareness a pleasure to engage with.

All commercial ventures and politicians, particularly, would be well advised to examine the Viewpoint model and its implementation as the gold standard for service provision.

Viewpoint’s optical service has now been extended to audiometry. Headed by the enthusiastic and compelling specialist, John Manley, for whom sounds, in every form, are integral to his life, it is quite simply more of the same. With the implications of hearing loss to cognitive decline becoming more apparent, Viewpoint’s audiometry service should not be ignored and sought sooner rather than later.

I emphatically recommend Viewpoint’s optical and audiometry services, wholeheartedly and without reservation.
