When I moved house I had to cancel my contract, Virgin Media support were absolutely vile to me. I had to move my Family into a Hotel for 9 months due to House Sale Chain issues. Virgin Media made my life hell while I was already under immense stress, after about 20 phone calls they allowed me to Cancel my Contract but took 3 months payments out of my account. I'm now settled in my New home and as you can imagine I will not be signing up with Virgin Again. Horrible people, Richard Branson should be ashamed.
