Flash repaired at the store

I have purchased many items from Vistek, cameras, lens, flashes, drones etc. I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. And their service has always been exceptional. I had not used my flash for a couple of years, and it would not turn on when new batteries were inserted. I brought the SB 900 to the store, and behold, Martin "The Magician" looked at it, did his stuff, and I walked away with my flash working like it was brand new. A BIG THANK YOU to Martin for doing this for me for free. Your efforts are most appreciated.

Vistek Mississauga Location Jessica and her team were absolutely fantastic! They offered fair, transparent pricing and hooked me up with an awesome deal on a new camera—including a bonus CFexpress card. The service was genuinely friendly and refreshingly old-school—the kind of personal, attentive customer care you rarely find these days. I truly felt like a VIP. I'm from the London, Ontario area, and the drive to Mississauga was 110% worth it. Replacement Issues

We bought two very expensive monotors for our work. One of them arrived damaged and it's been more than a month later that we are still waiting for the replacement.
Vistek responded quickly but wanted me to call the manufacturer and get them involved in order to provide us replacement... Considering the cost and importance of these monitors for our work, this has caused unnecessary delays and frustration.

Sensor cleaning service - superb

I needed a sensor cleaning service. Peter from Repairs responded quickly, provided all the info, but most importantly - the cleaning was as promised - timely and great quality.
Your camera is indeed in good hands.
They also are opened earlier than some other stores and have competitive pricing.

Vistek guilty of switch and bait. Advertised a Sony camera on sale. When you click on the link you get an error message. But for the more expensive cameras the link is good.

Vistek vistek >> people working in there they just really love your money , the best is the Boss with lot of hair everywhere in his face, don't buy anything from vistek calgary they are very sweet to you before you buy they lie to you, later you find thing not right like they said , return thing , they will charge you what ever they kike >> 10% they said . but 20% i got never buy a camera o Vistek they scam you to get your money with many tricks

Vistek Toronto, my trusted source for Nikon gear.

I have shopped at Vistek many times over the years and have found them to be a pleasure to work with. The staff I have worked with possess a solid level of integrity with a focus on ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. My experience comes from shopping both in person and on a number of occasions on line. They are two different departments staffed by different sales teams so you need to ensure your speaking with the on line team for web orders as they are the only people with access to web sales orders. Lastly, as a photographer who has been shooting Nikon for 30 plus years, when I am purchasing gear, I know what I want and don't purchase with the intention of returning it. That said, I find Vistek to be "hands down" far more professional than the "H" store.

Forget about return
I had very bad experience with Vistek. I ordered a camera and when I received it I noticed that it was opened box, without turning on I returned it, surprisingly I was charged 10% (300$), when I started communication with them I heard lots of non-profesional and unfriendly answers.

Frustrating Return Policy at Vistek

I recently purchased a Mini 4 Pro Fly drone from Vistek on Queen East. Right after my purchase, i went on a vacation, and I didn't even open the box and never used the drone. Upon returning, I promptly went to Vistek on a Monday morning to return the sealed, unused drone.

To my surprise and disappointment, I was informed that I was two days late for the return, and the store would not accept it, despite the item being in its original sealed condition. What made matters worse was the inconsistent information I received from various sales managers within the store. Each manager had a different stance on whether they could accept the return.

Ultimately, I was told that the decision rested with the sales representative who initially sold me the product. This left me feeling helpless and frustrated. I even attempted to contact DGI headquarters online, but they redirected me back to the store, indicating that it had to be handled in person.

This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Vistek needs to review and improve its return policy to provide more consistency and customer-friendly solutions. I hope my review sheds light on this issue and helps others navigate their shopping experiences at Vistek.

My experience with Vistek is usually…

My experience with Vistek is usually fine. I often receive my orders quite fast and sooner than expected.

But, when it comes to price matching, Vistek drops the ball. From my latest interaction with Vistek, their websales team appear to avoid replying to price match inquiries and let the competitor's deal lapse in order to not price match. This may not be the case, but I got that feeling big time as I inquired if my email was received a few times.

If you're trying to price match with Vistek and you haven't opened or received your order yet, I think it's better to buy the lower priced item at the competition and return the unopened products to Vistek for a full refund. Their websales team are not prompt in replying to price match inquiries and you never know when the competitor raises the price back up to the suggested market retail price.

I did eventually receive the price match, but this experience really changed my opinion on Vistek.

Fraudsters and swindlers!

My husband bought a $5,513.27 video Camera from Vistek yesterday. We had seen some concerning reviews about them online and thought to take our due diligence by calling them to get their assurance that the camera was indeed in stock and that there would be NO issues. A guy called Alex, assured my husband that he would personally ensure that his camera would be waiting for him by the door to be picked up the next day and charged his credit card.

Today my husband printed his e-mailed order payment confirmation, took his driver's licence and went to pick it up.

Even though this was an ONLINE purchase, they told him that they couldn't give it to him unless he had his credit card with him (nothing of this was said on the e-mail). My husband sensing something was off, did not want to leave it for another day, so he gets back home to get his credit card BUT (less than an hour later) when my husband shows up again at the store with his credit card on hand he learns they did not have it in stock...They NEVER DID!!!

Needless to say, it was heartbreaking to see my husband leave home excitedly to pick up his camera and returned so angry and disappointed... Awful!.

Finally, they actually had the audacity to ask my husband to wait for it (he refused). When we got home we warned our Credit Card company of what had happened.

They really ARE just a bunch of fraudsters and swindlers!!!
